Bought these to try and they are nice and light but after wearing for a while I've noticed that my feet roll inwards too much because the inner side of the shoe is lacking support for under- pronators. Would be nice if Hoka would label their models as being for certain types of pronation

Bought the regular width to start. Too narrow. Had to send back and get wide in this shoe. Sizing is weird.
I never wear wides and I wear athletic shoes for various sports as well as my street shoes.
Also like most shoe companies your inserts were awful, had to replace.

Update: I've had these shoes shy of 3 months. Not much tread when they're new. Now almost gone. I slipped and went down on a patch of moss on a sidewalk. Not injured, but it was like ice.
I really like this shoe everything is good except for wet conditions. Anything water related avoid. I will buy again, but keep another model for wet running.

Like the shoe and material that was used. Wish it had a better insole for support.

Daily work shoe for me. I get about 6-8 months out of a pair. 1000 times better shoe than Nike, Adidas or Brooks. I have tried them all.

After a few walks concrete, the shoe is showing some wear, although I am hopeful. My 6'4 - 230 frame may reduce the life of this one?

Not as comfortable as expected. For the price, it's not worth it. There are many other shoe manufacturers with quality- and more comfortable- shoes for a lower price.

I purchased a set of Bondi 7 which I love as I have arthritis bad especiallly my right foot making it difficult to walk at times. The Akasa I bought as a backup pair and the sole was not as forgiving to meet my needs. I now have two pairs of Bondi 7's.

They are light, they look great but they are not comfortable enough. The lack more cushion on the insoles they feel very hard on the inside so I returned this pair. If it was softed and more comfortable will be the perfect shoe cause these are very light. When I received them I thought the box was empty. Ill buy them again once they revamp the Akasa model. I also liked that it doesn't have the big loud Hoka logo everywhere.

Are use these shoes for work I walk around a lot. They're great shoes they're very comfortable except they were out really really quick and the price is kind of high. I'm not sure if I would buy them again.

I have been using this shoe to walk paved/ unpaved walking trails as well as wearing them when out and about. The sole in the ball of the foot area has completely worn down and is soft and spongy after approximately 4-5 weeks of use.

Be mindful that if you are a wider foot that this one fits more narrow than the average.

I am keeping the shoe - it is comfortable, but only with older, thinner orthotics that I own. I used your questionnaire to determine which model fit my needs for stability and plush comfort, but the 2W width is not the same width as previous shoes I purchased i.e. Bondi and Gavotti. It would be helpful if you had a shoe with some depth up front. By that I mean a shoe that is made to give room for orthotics. My toes rub up against the upper fabric of the shoe

I never wore them. The toe box is too low. I bought them because my wife loves hers.

Listed as balanced/plush but it is not plush. The Clifton is listed as balanced but it is plush to me....
I think their descriptors need to be adjusted. The Cliftons are fantastic as a training/walking shoe (I am not a runner).

I liked the shoe. L wear size 11 in all my shoes but these were too narrow in toebox. I had to return them. If you order these get extra wide.

This is a very roomy and almost perfect upper that is wasted with a rock hard rubber midsole. Hard rubber is not enjoyable to run on, it should be used in work boots instead. What happened to the soft plush Hokas? They are long gone, and this new shoe proves that. The only reason I am giving this shoe 3 stars is for the nice upper, the midsole is terrible and should not be rated "plush".

It took me a while to bite on these new "hot" shoes but eventually I needed to replace my New Balance set of shoes so I picked up Hokas. Overall my assessment is lukewarm so far after wearing these shoes a number of times and trying to give a fair break-in period I have to say I'm not a Hoka convert. Maybe it's my feet but I seem to have had more soreness since starting to work these shoes into my routines. I will continue to try them but I did not get the amazing experience in wearing them. So at this point I will probably not buy again.
