Ordered two different shoes and this one is not comfortable. I would like to return it but I don't know how.

I was a bit surprised to see that these didn't have decent tread on the bottom. Within 50 miles of running I saw a significant amout of wear on the heal, more so than I have seen on Hoka's other great running shoes. I'm going back to the Clifton - a solid 300 miles shoe.

I have had these Akasa shoes for three weeks and have already worn through some of the main tread. I walk 2-5 mikes 5-6 days a week on a treadmill, sidewalk or occasional trail. At this rate I will wear through the soles in a couple of months. Disappointing for the price.

Tried to wear these shoes but the tread on them was so terrible very slippery. Try to use them as an all-around training shoe but weren't very supportive and way too much money for the price would not buy I returned them.

Fairly comfortable shoe, not the most comfortable I've ever owned but not the worst either. The problem I have is that I use these at the gym on the treadmill and the amount of static electricity they generate is insane. If I don't hold onto the treadmill to ground myself my arm hair stands up and I get shocked when I touch the treadmill and it only takes a couple of steps for the static to build. It's the shoes not the treadmill, I use the same one all the time with other shoes and have no issue.
In addition to the static, on a gym floor they're very very slippery. Probably because there's hardly any tread, but I can't wear them for leg day or anything that I need to plant my feet. I would not buy again. And probably won't buy this brand for fear of the same problems.

Unfortunately it takes a bit of time for the foot to customize to the product and once it did not it was to late to exchange.

Have only worn a couple of times - perhaps not long enough to break in. But I can say, for less than 1/4 of the cost of theses shoes, I much prefer the fit and feel of skecher airfoams

I REALLY wanted to love this shoe, but I just couldn't. The shoe is EXTREMELY light and pretty comfy with enough room and soft "padding." BUT there is virtually no tread. The bottom is almost smooth. It has been wet and rainy here in CA. I tried them on two walks and slid badly. I can't risk a slip/fall so back they go.

I love HOKA shoes and usually buy the plush Bondi. I have some foot problems that is requiring some more stable shoes than the bondi that might better address pronation. Unfortunately, this is just not the solution for me. The center sole is really quite hard as one of the other reviewers mentions. But also, the toe box feels a lot tighter to me vs the Bondi. Too tight to keep using. Unfortunately, I had to return these and will go back and just buy another pair of Bondi

It was less plush than the Clifton, and far less cushioning than the Bondi, even though their description rated it as same category as the Bondi. And then, the smooth soles! I work in a restaurant, and the soles looked like certain wipeout material. I don't know what Hoka was thinking with this one, I guess that's why it's on sale. Don't buy it.

I'm not sure why these say they are "plush". They are super hard. Ives had other Hokas and these were very hard in comparison. The heel is also very deep which puts pressure just in front of your heel. This causes pain; especially if you have had plantar fasciitis issues.

I loved the pair of BONDI 7's that I bought from you about 4.5 months ago, but these AKASA's are not the same fit and are not near as comfortable. I would buy the first pair again, but not these.

I love the Bondi model, but wanted to try these because of the sleeker look and because they came in simple black and white (not much of a neon pink/orange person). Unfortunatley, they are not comfortable, they are extremely stiff and was like walking on a piece of wood. There was no bend in the sole and they were so hard in fact, it kind of made a high heel sound walking on hard surfaces. I returned them for the Bondi 7, which are extremely comfortable and versatile. I climbed a 9,140ft mountain in my Bondi's, I wouldn't even attempt a short trail in these because the Akaska are so stiff and not pliable, my feet would be sore. I would not recommend unless you like hard stiff shoes.

After three pairs of Bondis I wanted to try something different from Hoka. The Akasas are meant for a different kind of foot than mine, so I tried to exchange them for new Bondis. The Hoka online return/exchange system is a disaster. Finally I got someone from Dekkers (Hokas's logistics partner) on a chat - they weren't able to find my order or my exchange request. Finally I was able to ask for a refund which I have not received. Hoka lost a customer.

Would have preferred more arch support. Have worn these for less than two months (approx 100 miles of walking) and the tread has almost completely worn off. not worth the price.

Loved the shoe until after low miles of use the minimal tread was reduced and I wiped out on a wet sidewalk.

Bought this shoe, and it was great fit a bit tight up top so I submitted a exchange. Everything went through. I waited almost 2 weeks, I finally called them and they stated they hadn't processed anything because the way of payment I chose doesn't allow exchanges. I chatted with 2 reps, and not one of them told me about this. So if I wouldn't of called I would of never got a pair of shoes. Nobody reached out to me, for that reason alone I would NEVER ever buy shoes from this company again.

This is my first time ordering with this company. I was referred this shoe by one of the sales associates at the company about this shoe They would be the best shoe for flat feet. Well it's not supportive at all. My flat feet just hung over the the center of shoe. If it's their best for flat feet then I guess I will go back to looking around.
