I'm obsessed with these pants. I live in the mountains and have been looking for a light shell to use for winter hikes, xc skiing, walking my dogs after a storm, etc. These are absolutely perfect. I'm 5'4" and 110lbs and ordered size 2. They are a little loose without anything underneath, but fit perfect over my base layers or tights so I can slip them on to go out and stay warm without having to change. Hands down the best part is the gaiter drawstring around the pant legs. I took my dog for a walk in 40cms of fresh snow yesterday, and the cuff fit over my boots and cinched tight to keep the snow out of my boots.

I love these pants!! I have worn these pants snowshoeing, cross country skiing and hiking and they worked well. First, I love how they stretch with you. They also shed snow and water. I love the high rise in these pants and they flatter the hips and legs as they are not too tight or too baggy. I owned one pair of these pants and I was afraid Arcteryx would stop making them, so I purchased another pair.

I don't know what reviews that say these are oversized are talking about- I bought a 6 (per the size chart) and they were quite skin tight. They loosened up as I wore them hiking, but I am so glad I didn't listen and size down. As far as the pants go, they are very flattering and they hug in all the right places for both flattering and non-chafing. I have a big butt and strong thighs and it is really hard to find climbing or hiking pants that look good. Stretch is a must for this reason even if I don't personally want stretchy pants. The texture of this material has a little swish and it's not my favorite to the touch, but it's great stretch and very comfy. Wore em on a long hike on a 75 degree day and didn't feel like they got terribly sweaty or anything. Unzip the pockets for some nice ventilation. I love these dang pants and I'm so happy I got em! Might buy the bitters color in the future

I bought this few months and having both using them in milder weather 10-20c for walks. It has many pockets which also makes it excellent for traveling as well, especially on long flights.

I have a difficult time finding pants that fit that are nice enough to wear to work. The Gamma LT pant is PERFECT. No wrinkles, they look good all day paired with a blazer. They are also super comfortable, stretch in all the right places and are built to take the tough environment, whether hiking or climbing. More colors would be amazing.

I bought these pants after a pair of a previous iteration started to wear out. I saw that they came in tall sizes and I was thrilled. They fit great!

i've been wearing these pants almost every day since i got them. they're fantastic. they fit a little big but not much. the cut is amazing and the pants hang beautifully regardless of what you've just put them through. i love the diamond patch in the crotch area that allows for greater stretch. these pants aren't waterproof but they are very water resistant. i've worn them in the pouring rain and didn't feel like i was getting wet at all. once indoors again they dried super fast. i'd definitely recommend these to my friends and will be getting a second pair in a different colour.

I own three pairs of these pants and use them for via ferrata, hiking, rock climbing and teaching wilderness first aid in spring, summer and fall as well as to and from my uniformed work year round. They give a little in the seat and knees over time but otherwise look good, layer well and last. My favourite feature is the harness friendly placement of the three zip pockets. The right thigh pocket is large enough for a phone and the hand pockets are roomy! I appreciate the drawstring cuffs especially around my boots in the snow or to crop the pants above my ankles on warm days. I have a 33" inseam and in 6T the legs are legit long enough. Please never stop making these pants Arc'teryx, they are top tier.

I have found the perfect pants for all my activities. The fit is superb and the fabric is amazing. I recycled all my other pants and bought three pair in different colors. I recommended them to my hiking buddy and she bought them too. Keep them in stock!

I own three pairs of these pants now. I wear them for climbing, hiking, cross country skiing (with a base layer below) and just around town. Since I bought these, I effectively stopped wearing jeans. I've had my one pair for 3 years and have worn them about 3 times a week and they are still in great condition. The adjustable belt is top notch and holds, even when doing activity. They fall a bit long on me but I just roll them. The side pocket is a great place to keep you phone as it doesn't get in the way when you are climbing.

Fantastic comfy pants. I am 5'7" 137lbs and ended up going with the 4R although I could have got away with the 2's if I wanted a snug fit and the short version but I wanted the length for my boots. The stretch is great and I'm finding these pants work for kicking around town, climbing at the gym and definitely at the crag. The pockets are great but I do find that if I put my phone in any pocket the pants do tend to ride down just a bit.....as I said, I could have gone with a size 2. The biggest issue I find is the belt hook as I find it a bit bulk with fitted shirts or sweaters overtop. Also to keep them snug on my hips I have to keep readjusting the belt to pull it tight and the excess (belt) can be a bit too long/too much to hide. That said, I do like the ability to cinch up the pants versus a simple button. Overall would give a 4.5 stars but rounded up as I do love the fit and practicality of these pants.

These pants are fantastic for a wide range of activity. They don't hold me back, and are tough. They even act as my blue jeans!

I bought this item in 2018 and bought another one in 2021 because they are my favourite adventure pant. They are a little on the thicker side so in the summer it can be a very warm layer however, because it's so water wicking/sweat wicking you barely even notice that you're sweating even when it's warm. I love these pants for several reasons
1. theyre super durable
2. the pockets are everything (3 DEEP! pockets)!
3. they're water wicking
The water wicking is so good on these pants that you don't even need a rain layer on a day where it's dumping rain because if it stops raining and you get back to your car your pants will be dry (that's how much they wick water). I recommend these pants for climbing, hiking and even mountaineering. I sometimes wear these as a layer for backcountry skiing as well. The only thing I would say is try them on in person, I have 1 pair that is a size 2 and 1 pair that is a size 0 they fit the same. And they get very slightly looser as you wear them.

I have the color Moonlit which seems to go well with a lot of things. Really comfortable material that feels like it would be great for fall, winter and spring. The built in belt is super convenient. The pockets are a good size and the zipper pocket is unique and handy! I am 5' 2" and the size 2 fits me perfectly. The material dries quickly when I hike in damp conditions and I like the high waisted fit.

I love my Gamma LT pants. I am a guide in western Alberta and these are the best hiking/3 season pant I have found. I really appreciate that these pants come in a tall inseam. I am 5'10'' and 140lbs and the 6T fit perfectly. My only request would be that there would be more color options available in the tall sizes. I have had these pants for two years and they have held up pretty well.

The Gamma LT pants worked well for Mt Rainier climb, Colorado 14er hikes, and local hiking, mountaineering, and climbing. Durable, fit well, and breathable very well.

I bought these pants a few months ago for hiking and for field work and they're amazing! They're great pants for summer hiking as they're breathable and super flexible. The belt is great on the pants and I love the pocket on the thy. I'm 5,4 and got a size 4 regular and they fit perfect! These are by far my favourite pants for hiking or for field work.

Bought these as I wanted some pants that I could fluctuate in and still be able to wear. The adjustable belt feature has been awesome and even comfortable while wearing my climbing harness. I look forward to buying in other colours.

I am very picky when comes to pants and this Gamma SL Pant is by far one of my favourites. Not too trim like Sabria pants for my thick thighs; and super comfortable/lightweight for hot summer days. The pockets are ideal that I can fit my iPhone in them (which I could not do in my sabria pant).
And I use these for hiking, biking and just everyday wear including walking my puppy.
Good job designers! I have zero flaws to share about these pants.

I use these hiking, backpacking, cycling and just for everyday. By far one of my favorite Arc pieces with do it all functionality if I were to have only 1 pair of pants. Still a trim-ish fit in the thighs and hips for athletic or curvy folks, but so much amazing stretchiness that is doesn't bother me. Also, I have found they bag out throughout the day and over multi-day trips for sure, but after a wash they come back in nicely. The pockets are not wimpy little women's pockets like on other brands out there and the 1 thigh pocket fits my phone or a write in the rain book if required. A staple piece for all my outdoor activities.
