The best part is the pocket on the leg for my cell phone. They fit true to size and wash up like a dream. They wear like iron and don't crease.

I bought these pants for travel, hiking and cycle commuting and they have not disappointed. The Gamma LT has the features I need for cycling, attract lots of compliments and wash up well.

Gamma LT Pant is exactly what I've been looking for in outdoor pants-comfortable, durable, breathable, and lightweight. And it looks great too. Thanks Arc'teryx for making these pants in Short length! I'm almost 5'4" and 114 lbs, and sz 2S fits perfect on me with a room to layer a merino wool thermal bottom on cooler days. It also protected me from wind and light rain. I liked my first pair in black so much that I ordered another one in cobalt blue.

I now own three pairs of these pants! They're my absolute favorite! I use them for climbing, hiking, and everyday wear! So far they have been extremely durable and have no signs of wear after 2 weeks of use for climbing! One of the only pairs of pants that actually fits my waist without falling off!

This is one of my favorite hiking pants for early spring & autumn season. It is soft to the touch and feels very nice on the skin. Durable and warm.

I love these pants. Please do not change the style. I'm 5'2" and I bought the regular size length. They fit great, they are a bit long but I'm not sure I would go with short. I normally wear a size 4 in all other gear but I wear a size 6 in these pants (120 pds). Super comfy and I totally want another pair. I love the zipped pockets.

These pants fit like a glove. They are very comfortable to hike in, and they even layer well on top of thermal base layers. The stretch fabric allows me to move without restraint, and the fabric doesn't bunch up weird when you sit down. I will be finding any and every opportunity to use these pants from now on, whether it's summiting a mountain or relaxing at home. They are durable, comfortable, and still manage to look sleek. Very happy with my purchase.

Hands down my favorite go-to pants at home and for the outdoors. Absolutely thrilled with the longer length - most of the pants do not come in a longer length (although I wish they did). Fit is great, breathable and they look great on. Fantastic work horse pants when outdoors. US customers may need to size up by one size as I needed to.

I'm 5'5", 135-140#, built like a runner. Not a pear OR an apple - my weight is evenly distributed. I ordered 10 and it fits fine - a bit snug straight out of the dryer, loose after wearing a few hours which is what I wanted. I'm crewing a 3-month sports event so I need very comfortable, fairly tough pants that work in temps 45-85 F, resist staining and wipe (reasonably) clean because laundry facilities are only available occasionally, and hold a LOT - phone, KT tape and scissors for footcare, glucose shots for low blood sugars, misc snacks, spare bits of gear and misc other stuff. The two hand pockets are good-sized. No rear pockets. The right thigh pocket is awesome - it's huge and holds my Samsung S7 with room left over. I do wish the left thigh had the same kind of pocket. Have tried and returned a lot of other pants and I'm keeping these. I like the light black/dark gray color ("black sapphire"). The length is perfect with Keen Kaci or Mizuno Wave Inspire shoes. The leg opening is tapered so it looks snazzy and not geriatric. The fit overall is pretty trim. If I sized down to 8, it would be snug - more like the photos shown on the Arcteryx product page. One extremely minor quibble - I could do without the belt, but it doesn't seem removable. It's kind of fiddly, and I just don't see a need for it.

To start out, I LOVE these pants. I've had them for about a week and I've been out hiking in fall weather and they're great for that. But I'd like to talk about the sizing. In the description, it says they are "regular" fit, as opposed to "Trim" and "Next to Skin." These pants are DEFINITELY trim fit. Even on the model on this website, you can see they they hug the butt/thighs. Still a great pant, but keep this in mind if you're seeking a looser fit or need to fit an insulating layer underneath, and maybe size up. With the built-in belt, you can still tighten the waist enough.

I absolutely love these pants. I initially bought these pants for a cooler weather hiking pant, and have since bought another pair. I wear these hiking, camping, at the cabin, all the time. They are stretchy, very flattering and quite durable. I have full range of movement when wearing these pants, and man are they comfortable! I also love the ability to adjust the bottom of the pants with the drawcord on the cuff. I am constantly taking these hiking and camping and am so impressed with how durable they are. Quite often I will feel branches poking and sticking my legs and I haven't had a hole or tear in the pants yet! I've recommended these pants to a number of friends and they all now have multiple pairs. BUY THEM.

I put these through the wringer this summer and only came out the other end with one tiny hole. That's more than I can say about most of my climbing pants! The fit is perfect, I am 5'8" 150# and size 8 worked perfectly for me. I have a small waist and wide hips, and my issue is usually that the waist is huge and the legs are super tight. Not the case with these, they fit perfect and spent probably 100 days on rock this summer. I highly recommend them!

These are my go to pants during cool weather because they are extremely comfortable and lightweight with high quality stretchy fabric. I was thrilled to see that they were available in short as well; which is a rare find in Arc'teryx. I'd like to see more pieces in petite size please! I find the adjustable belt and the cuff drawcord very useful. I got them a size bigger in black than my usual size because I liked the lose fit better.

Got these on a whim a few weeks ago and it has been my go to pant so far. I have climb on trad with these two weeks ago where I was sliding and grinding against the rock and they held. Last week I was hiking Mt Washington where the winds were 55PMG and the temp dropped to about 28 degrees from 60 and was comfortable! I can tighten the ankle part and make them capris if I get to hot or just above my shoe if I am climbing. They look good so when I'm done adventuring and go out on the town they look flattering! Might get another in a different color. Make them in Green short :)

Purchased first pair, black, before Colorado trip to cross country ski and snowshoe. I'm a trim, active 73, but don't want pants that are low slung. These hit just below waist, & waist has some adjustment. A little long for me, but I like wee bit of slouch, and think they look great on. Compliments! Stylish, tapered leg, but just enough. Have worn them tucked into boots while traveling, but they also will go over mid height hiking boots. They move with you without any constraint, and are a wonderful addition to my outdoor wardrobe. Wore them with long johns in Steamboat in March, will enjoy them hiking in Olympics soon and they'll also be great for sailing. Snow brushes off, and rain run off. They're warm, but not hot. Three deep, zippered pockets hold phone, snack bar, glasses or sail ties. Bought second pair in skaha (dark khaki) as soon as I got home, and then discovered black sapphire, (navy)! Had been looking for navy pants for years. Arrived today. Fit consistent across all three pairs. 5'3" and 113 lbs, size 4 is just right for me. 2's fit, but my years demand a less snug fit! I couldn't be more pleased, and expect to be happy I treated myself for a long time. Worth every penny.

Trim fit is right- these pants fit very close without being overly tight. Great stretch for freedom of movement and exceedingly breathable. The trim cuffs are great for over boots and slim enough to be worn cuffed for technical summer rock. The backing of the fabric feels great next-to-skin (it's got a bit of a waffle to it). I haven't pushed them too hard on durability but so far, so good. They seem to put up with about as much as you would expect them too for how lightweight the material is. These will be my go-to summer rock pants for seasons to come. For reference, I'm 5'3" and the regular length just barely bunches above my shoes.
