These pants are now my go-to for hiking. They fit comfortably as I move, especially around the waist. I was impressed by the way the fabric repels rain water and keeps me dry. I found the pockets to be a perfect size for my phone and wallet. Highly recommend!

I bought a pair of these a few months ago, and they are the best pants ever. I forgot my rain pants and used these in torrential downpour - it kept me dry for hours. Super durable and stylish too. I use them for hiking, climbing, lounging. They are awesome, just bought a few more pairs. Highly recommend.

So glad I have a pair of these pants. Best hiking pants I have ever had. However, I have been searching for over six months for your short sizes, and they are never available. I must have the short size - even they are too long for me. When will you have short sizes available again?

I bought these years ago and wear them constantly for hiking year around. They have held up to nearly daily wear and still are in great shape. I am going to buy another pair for fear they may be discontinued. I can't live without them!!

I'm 5'3 & a curvy 135lb and the size 6 fit like a glove and are very fitted. They did stretch out a bit after the day becoming a bit roomier. They have a little weight to them so I wear them for daily stuff when it's in the 20's and 30's. These are great for XC skiing, errands but look much nicer than hiking or climbing pants for a casual dinner out. Also bought the MX for more warmth. Only bummer is they are long. I sinch the cord at the ankle and roll them up twice. The maroon color is great and just bought the blueish green.

I got these pants for fall/winter hiking but have discovered that they are my favourite pants all winter long. I love the pockets and they could only be improved by having a left thigh pocket as well.
I'd buy another pair but my size is seemingly NEVER in stock. PLEASE get more 4S (in a colour other than black, the colour I already have). I'd recommend this product to a friend, but most of my friends already have a pair.

These pants are the perfect weight for shoulder season hikes. A little too warm for hot summer days, though. They fit a little loose, but I like that I can put a base layer underneath for colder hikes. They don't run large enough to size down - but if you are between sizes, go smaller. I'm between a 2 and 4 in jeans, and the 2 short fits me well in these. The DWR really does its job - I have worn these on rainy hikes and not gotten soaked. I am considering getting another pair as these are my go-to for any outdoor activity.

Got these pants on recommendation from my cousin and I was super happy I did. I just finished a 3 week trip to Peru with just these pants as my long option (besides base layers) and I am happy I did. For hiking they were perfect and the side leg pocket phenomenal for storing some money for bathrooms. For in the city they were cute and light weight enough to get by. I wish I had another pair in preparation for my Patagonia trip!!

Not many women's pants have useful pockets (on the side with a zipper for map/phone), cinch distally at the ankle (to keep out scree) or a higher waist with belt (stays in place/no sliding down.) They are a bit pricey, I thought as I went to re-order. Then I realized these pants have hiked, scrambled, backpacked with me over many adventures (Spring through Fall over the last 4 years) and they are an essential part of my gear.

Have used these pants several times hiking. At 5'1" short option is necessary, wish inventory was available longer. Very versatile, not too warm but holds up against all weather conditions. Will buy again when more short sizes are available.

I received my package yesterday and since then I don't want to take this pants off :) they are amazing, feels like they were made for my body! I will be ordering more since all the available colors are appealing to me and I know I will use them all the time.

I bought this product to walk to work (10km) and to not have to change when I got to work as they are nice enough to wear in the office

I use them for work, i work out in the forest and they're simply super, lightweight, breathable, have a belt, are waterproof and look great. Many compliments. The 2021 pants are better built than previous model.

I'm a pretty firm believer that these are the best pants ever. I've had a couple pairs for 2-3 years and worn them hiking, backpacking, gym and rock climbing, mountaineering, mountain biking, skiing, bike commuting, working, and probably more, in just about all conditions. They do everything well, they fit well, and they feel and look good. One pair shows a bit of wear, but mostly from an encounter or two with a crampon. The second still looks pretty new, though the thigh pocket delaminated early on. Other than that, I couldn't recommend them more.

I just got back from a big hike with these pants. I love them.
The side pocket is great for a map and a phone.
Easy to get on. Belt made them really adjustable through the waist. I did get some chafing from these plus a new pack.
Love the drawstring on the bottom of the pants. Tons of fine sand on this hike and kept it from entering my boots.
Fabric is great. Stretchy, still quick drying. I have 3 pairs of hiking pants from Arc'teryx and these are my favourite, though I also love my Palisades they don't make anymore.

Bought this pant to do some hiking and it did not disappoint. Especially like the short sizing, at 5'2" always looking for a good short pant, wish all of the Gamma pants came in a Short option. Adjustment at the bottom of the pant leg allows for slight adjustments, as needed.

I have had these pants for a while now and I absolutely love them. I tend to have bigger thighs, but due to the stretchy fabric and adjustable waist belt these fit perfectly. They look good, fit great and are comfortable. Also, drawcord at the bottom ensures the pants stay on top of the hiking boots. 100% my go-to pants for hiking or any outdoor activities.

As a smaller petite woman, the 00 fits perfectly and I really appreciate the small option! (00 sizing is perfect). I use them typically for guiding backpacking trips in the spring or fall. (They're a little bit warm for the height of summer.) They're really durable, I typically wear them 14+ days when guiding and they've been through all types of weather: rain, hail, snow, wind. They also stand up to bushwhacking if one has to go off trail. I also wear them around the house, run errands, day hikes, etc... Thanks Arc'teryx!

I love the fabric, the side pockets, and the draw cord at the feet. Kept me dry on a recent snowy hike where I forgot my gators!

These pants are both flattering and functional. Lots of stretch in the hips and legs for athletic builds. Good for everyday wear, hiking or climbing. Water still beads off of my old ones even after over 30 washes. They don't fade or wear out. Stretchy and relatively breathable. So sad they didn't make any light grey colours this year. The 'light immersion' colour is still nice. Fit is true to size. I'm usually a size 2 in all my pants so that's what I ordered. My waist is 27", hip is 37 ", I am 130 lbs and 5'8. These pants fit me well, with a bit of flex room in the hips which is fine because these pants were designed for climbing and moving. Also lots of room in the calves. Built in belt is a good feature, however I hate how there is no belt loops to keep the belt from flopping around. If you have a curvy or athletic body these might be the best, most fogiving Arc'teryx pants they make. I get compliments every time I wear these.

This pant is very comfortable to wear, it's light and water repellent future is so amazing when the weather changed on you. It also fit to the body very well, I am 5'2", so finding pant that fit length wise is quite a challenge, I am happy that arcteryx made this pant. I am already thinking of buying a different colour as a back up pant.

I cannot believe how excellent these pants are. I have to force myself to wear something else on occasion! They wash like a dream and look brand new after months of wear. The gentle stretch in the fabric makes them perfect for almost every outdoor activity ... hiking and cross-country skiing are what I do most, but I can imagine them in so many other contexts. If you live in a misty or rainy place, as I do, these will shed most of that water for you on a short-term basis and keep you dry and comfortable. Can't recommend highly enough. Worth the money!!
