Love this shoe but it definitely runs about a 1/2 size small and the toe box is a little narrow.

These shoes feel great for longer mileage. I have worn past versions and worn a size 11 but has been probably 4-5 years ago. In this version I needed an 11.5. I wear a 10.5 in the brooks levitate. I wouldn’t expect quite so much difference within the same brand so just beware when ordering.

I love the Brooks Ghost so I thought I'd try other models of Brooks shoes. As soon as I put on the Glycerin, I loved the way they felt on my feet. They're very comfortable and have a lot of cushion. I noticed when I first put them on, the shoes squeaked as I walked around the house, but it went away within a couple of hours. I ordered the gray and green and didn't like the colors in person, so I'm sending them back to exchange for the gray and fig color. I don't love the wide holes in the mesh and have some concerns that they may get holes from my toenails over time. I'm also a bit concerned about the reviews that say the eyelets wear out, but I'm going to stick with them and hope for the best because the shoes are so comfortable.

These are my 5th pair of Brooks running shoes. I went from G-15, Levitate, G-16, G-16 and now 17. I run about 25 miles per week on asphalt and run about 5 half marathons a year so they only last me 3 to 4 months. I learned with my last two pairs G-16's, that I needed a half size larger and they were perfect. I wear an 8-1/2 shoe, but got the 9's and they were the best shoes ever. I thought I would try the 17's this time. So I ordered a 9 and they are roomier than the 9's in the 16's in the toe cage. Because I wear ankle braces that tie up from the top of my feet, I need the extra room so I'm keeping them. However, I still prefer the 16's over the 17's in terms of overall feel and snugness. With the 16's I felt like I wasn't wearing shoes. With the 17's, they are comfortable, but I can feel them when I run.

These shoes are awesome! The Glycerin model of the Brooks shoes were recommended by my Podiatrist due to multiple foot problems including severe arthritis in my feet. They feel like your feet are sinking into a soft, form-fitting layer of cushioning when you put them on. These are my third pair and are worn for long shifts as a nurse. They are also great for ventilation if you wear them for athletics, work, or just every day wear.

Very comfortable. The cushion and arch are great, but back of heel felt a little lower than I’m used to...maybe due to higher cushioning. Beautiful color and love the shimmer. I typically wear Brooks Ghost shoe and I’m not sure if it was worth the extra money to move to Glycerin, but willing to give it a try.

I have worn Brooks' shoes for running in the past. I am now walking 5-8 miles per day and ordered the Revel 3. It was not sufficiently supportive or cushioned for me. I returned them and chose Glycerin 17 which was also recommended for me by the Brooks' questionnaire I completed. The latter is far superior in both support and cushioning, no matter how far I walk.

This shoe is so comfortable. I was looking for a shoe with a bit more cushion than my previous running shoe. This shoe is lightweight and breathable. The soft outer conforms perfectly to my feet with no pressure points. I wear an 8.5 in most running shoes and this 8.5 fits perfectly. I have a wide toe box but normal heel and mid foot. This shoe manages to work well without scrunching my toes. It also makes my foot look smaller than many of the other running shoes that I’ve tried on.

I love this sneaker and purchase each Glycerin model as they come out. It is like running on fluffy clouds and especially great for people with wide feet!

Love these running shoes! Unfortunately I ignored all of the other reviews that said they run small, so I ordered my normal 8.5- I have the Ghost in an 8.5, and my toe was all the way to the end- way too tight. Ordered a 9, and they fit perfect!

Having problem feet makes it difficult to find a comfortable supportive shoe. My review is based on doing a lot of walking/hiking, not running. I've always worn Glycerin, but last years model was too narrow for my changing feet. I was reluctant to try the 17 due to changes in material and toe box, but they have been a win across the board. You also can't go wrong with the offer of a 30 day trial. The wider toe box fit my feet perfectly, and worked well with my bunions - no rubbing or pain from touching. I found the mesh to be a heavier fabric and not some thin mesh I've seen in other brands and models including Brooks. They were comfortable right out of the box and didn't need breaking in. I wear an insert and could feel the additional cushioning the shoe provided. I also use them for weight training requiring lateral movement. They worked well and I didn't feel any slide. Everyone's feet and experience is different, but these work exceptionally well for me.

Had to size up from my usual 6 ½. I had a pair of Glycerin 16 in a size 61/2 (my usual size) and they were hurting my toes and causing bruised toe nails. I sized up to a 7 Wide and they are perfect. I love the Glycerin although I have to be careful because they have a tendency to fit a bit different from year to year. I gave it a 3 on style because I am not crazy about the color combinations.

This is my 3rd pair of Glycerin, and I love them! They have a nice wide toe box, the support is good, although maybe since I have to use orthotics I’m not the best judge of that, and they are just plain comfortable!

I have always been an Asics Gel Nimbus person but switched to Brooks with my last pair of shoes when the reviews of Asics were not good. I have never regretted my decision. So, when time to get a new pair of shoes for walking, I looked as the Asics and they were still not good reviews so went with Brooks Glycerin again. These shoes are awesome! I like them even better than my first pair. There is absolutely no "break them in" with these shoes. They have a great toe box and I love the glove like feel that surrounds my entire foot with support but not binding. I have high arches and these shoes have the perfect cushion and room to accommodate any level of arch that is needed. No heel slippage. I love the color as well. Very stylish.

Because I have an very long and high arch, I had to replace the insole that came in the shoes with an orthotic that has slightly more arch support. The shoes now fit perfectly. I especially like that they are narrow in the middle and at the heel but have plenty of toe room. I like the style but wish I could have gotten one of the other colors, which was no longer available.

I’m not a person who needs arch support so I don’t know if these have enough arch support, but I do love these shoes. I run and walk a LOT - walk my dog a lot, walk to work, walk to various buildings around my work, so these are great for all of those!

I always order the Glycerin a size-and-a-half larger than my normal size. I've had several versions of this shoe, the last being a Glycerin 14, and had worn the soles down to the white foam above them. They were very comfortable and I didn't want to give them up, especially without knowing what changes the company has made in the interim. This pair is very comfortable, too. The shoes have plenty of cushioning, which is why I buy this shoe. I like the copper and white color scheme, too. In short, I'm very happy with the shoes.

I only use these for running and they are the best I've had in a very long time! My feet never wear out and I can run as long as I want without any discomfort. They fit well and I especially love the heel/ankle cushion at the upper. It doesn't rub and is very soft and comfortable. I also went up half a size and added a special arch support sole that I can put over the sole already in the shoe. It works great!!

Switched to this shoe after Asics kept changing their Cumulus shoe and I will never go back! I’m a neutral runner with a high arch/instep and the support, cushion and shock absorption in this shoe is the best I’ve had in a running shoe. I always size up 1/2 size for running shoes and these are a perfect fit. Will be buying again when these wear out!

Great shoe! Compared the the past model (Glycerin 16), the toe box is a little bit wider which I like. This is a great, cushioned running shoe! Not super lightweight, but it feels really nice especially if your feet are tired.

Plenty of room but still a snug fit. It’s this wonderful combination of soft/squishy comfort and spring back. I just wore my last pair to dust (working on my feet all day plus C25K) and these are a dream. I have moderate heel and arch pain due to plantar fasciitis, and these are awesome for support.

This pair of shoes was absolutely the most cushion I have experienced in a long time with a shoe. I had bought the Adrenaline by Brooks and it is a good shoe also, but nothing like the Glycerine by Brooks. This is pure comfort. The color was a little bit to get use to, but I have a lot of people giving me compliments about the style and color. Love these shoes.

I buy the glycerin style because it's a neutral support shoe. I bought 8.5 W because I like to have the sides of my foot Not touching the shoe! Brooks has improved the color combination of Glycerin. I got the grey/ebony/aqua, and it is very nice. The fabric is soft and comfortable. Comfortable and cute.
