Thank goodness for Zappos for allowing me the freedom to purchase shoes online! what a gift. So these shoes are comfy, they re not as wide as i thought but i think they re a good fit. i ll be trying them at home for awhile longer before i make my decision. There s a noticeable difference between the Glycerin 16 and this one the 17. They dont seem to sell 16 anymore, unfortunately.

Now these are the best, softest running shoe that I have used. I am now converted to Brooks!

Sizing is true to size. Good support & cushion.

These are being used by my husband. He is 6'8 and 250 pounds and finds these very comfortable. They were picked because we both love Brooks (comfort and durability) and because the coloring is so great and neutral, making the shoe able to be worn more casually without being an eyesore like most athletic shoes.

Awesome shoes - these are my third pair! And finally, finally - Brooks made a color that is actually decent! Love this iridescent color!

I love the fit and size. I'm a bigger, heavier runner. These shoes are my new favorite pair because they support my weight and the pounding I impose on my body. The pain in my knees, hips, and shins has dramatically decreased after my runs. I'm a new fan of Brooks and will buy them again next time.

I’m an RN and spend 12 hour shifts on my feet. Was always hurting until I found brooks glycerine. I’ve had 7 pairs since version 13. They have saved me. Version 16 looked like unicorn poop or dipin dots so I tried new balance more foams and regretted it. Came back for version 17.

I have high arches so these shoes cradled my foot well. My only complaint is my parents live a few states away and I am unable to show them how fast these shoes make me run.

With Brooks I always order a size up from other brands. I got these for walking as they were rated well on websites for planter fasciitis. These are incredibly cushioned and feel supportive. None of my Brooks have ever broken down. Other brands, eventually always do. I've tried Ghosts and Adrenalines but these are easily the most cushioned.

I've had the Glycerin 15s for a while, tried some Nikes and switched back to the Glycerin 17s as they are way more comfortable. I wear a size 10 normally but found that size in the Glycerins to be great in terms of length but the width (even with the EE) were squeezing my feet so I went up to a 10.5. These are a little larger than I would ideally like but the width is now perfect.
