My second pair. Great fit and comfort.

If you’ve been a loyal ASICS Cumulus consumer for 10+ years (my last worthy pair was the 16) and feel betrayed by their rebranding or whatever it is they’ve done, ease your mind. The solution is Brooks Glycerin 17.

I've worn Brooks Glycerins for about 4-5 years, but had to go up a half size with the Glycerin 17, as compared to the earlier models. Otherwise, it's still a great shoe for a neutral foot who wants good cushioning.

I normally wear a size 9 to 9 1/2 shoe but for running I have been using size 11. I've been using Brooks running shoes for a very long time, I find that they fit my feet very well, more comfortable than others. I have flat feet, very flat feet. I had a doctor once tell me he had never seen feet as flat as mine, and that's when I was 19, many years ago. I wear shoes out on the heel outer edge and the toe inside to middle. I have been wearing the Brooks Dyad series but they just weren't working for me, so I'm trying a couple of others, the Glycerin 17 and Adrenaline GTS 19. The Glycerin is definitely the more comfortable shoe with better arch support. The Adrenaline is like no arch support at all. The Glycerin is more expensive but comfort is everything when you're running and they are definitely comfortable. These are just first impressions, I've worn each of them one time and I'm doing only 5Ks right now. I've had to stop running for several years because of leg and foot problems. I used to run 8-13 miles 3 times a week. If I can get up to a 10K again I'd be thrilled.
