I needed a all black sneaker for work. It also needed to be slip resistant as to help me keep my footing during the work day. It does that job well. I got mine in size 8 wide. When I first put them on they did seem tight at first. But after a couple of days of breaking them in, they fit great. Will be buying another pair of these once the pair I have gets worn out.

I was replacing a pair of NB MX608v4, which fit well, so I ordered a pair of the version 5 model in the same size (8D). I found that the v5 was markedly narrower than the v4, as was the toe box. I exchanged them for size 8EE, which matches the width of the old 8D, although the toe box is still tighter than I would like. It's fine if New Balance wants to make styling changes between versions, as those are noticeable from the photos, however customers should be able to assume identical fit if they are to order them online. Also noted that the sole on the v5 was changed and that the old v4 sole is now on the NB 624, another unwelcome change. I may have purchased my last pair of New Balance shoes.

I bought these shoes for my dad who is 93 years old and has trouble with his balance and has fallen several times. They fit great and provide him the stability he needs. Thanks for keeping the "old man" shoe in your assortment! I am sure my dad isn't the only one who appreciates that this shoe style is still available!

I wear orthopedic inserts in my sneakers and have for years and have worn NB sneakers for as long as I can remember. I need size 9 2E. I returned a pair of sneakers that were way too narrow to be 2E. I like this new pair a little better but still still slightly tight. I'm hoping they will stretch so I can put in the inserts. My current 623's are perfect right out of the box as have been all the previous cross trainers I have purchased. I wish the sizing was more regular.

These shoes fit very well for narrow footed folks. But beware! The color on your computer screen shows the shoes as chocolate and they arrive as grey in my color scheme with the explanation from helpers that the shoe is "chocolate grey". New names for colors all the time.

Fit and size are perfect, as NB shoes usually are. I switched back to NB from Ascics because the last pair of Ascics wore out too quickly, and all in the heel. So I switched back to NB MX608 for fit, comfort, and, I hope, longer life. I walk a few miles each AM, and I am quite happy so far.

They are supposed to have the nice comfortable memory insole, however they feel like I'm walking on rocks. These could be a bad pair, but I certainly prefer the 619s, which never seem to be available in the size I need. Time to try a new shoe brand?
