I'll be sending them back. I have another pair of this same style (608v4w) that fit perfectly. These 608v5's do not. They were way too tight across the ball of my foot. SO I'm very disappointed.

The width on these shoes is larger that expected. Normally these shoes run true....not this pair.

My husband only wears leather court shoes. This brand fits his tastes. Width extra wide hard to find in a good leather every day casual shoe. He has been buying this brand of shoe for about 15 years.

These are my hubby's 4th or 5th pair of NBs. He's a high school history teacher and wears these to work. He loves them! First time buying them from LL Bean, one of our favorite companies to support. We will buy them from here henceforth.

I have worn the 608 model for years. This 609 is very comfortable to wear.

Just don't seem the same. Not as cushioned in the heel.

As a volleyball official, I need a pair of all black shoes for high school and all white shoes for college. I bought two pairs of these and they work great! A little on the stiff side, but after working multiple tournaments, I am happy with this purchase.

I would like longer shoe laces. Not sure why I have to have more characters....

Good solid tennis sneaker with good value Long lasting

I have been purchasing these same shoes for about 5 years now. My Podiatrist recommended the brand but I found the style then put inserts in after being diagnosed with Plantar Fasciitis. This is the only show I wear. Was sad to let sandals go!! :( However for a comfortable shoe, this one is mine. I purchased purple trimmed ones and had 4 pair of those. Then I purchased one with peach colors to wear in the house. I thought I was getting a navy pair but the store messed up the order. After returning them I decided to go online and order directly through New Balance. I was nervous but the easy return instructions made the decision for me. I received them quick, correct and I am loving the baby blue trim. Goes with everything. I will order from New Balance again.

This version is pointier in thee toe box, the heels have no support and seem shorter and looser then v4. For me the blue version seems sort of big and one shoe seem bigger in the collar/heel. I also bought the black one and they seem tighter. My orthothotics don't fit in very well.

I wear these shoes every day, and 608v4 fit perfectly. I bought v5 and could not wear them for eight hours. Something's changed across the ball of the foot. The toe box is looser and allowed my foot to roll when walking. I bought these for a walking trip and could barely make it through the grocery store.

I have purchased these shoes for years. I have foot issues and these shoes are so comfortable and fit great. They support my arches and provide stability for my ankle.

I got these Athletic Shoes to replace my last pair of NB which were showing signs of wear. I use a good orthotic for support inside my shoes for hiking, standing, working and it worked well with these shoes. I am so glad to find good support shoes in NARROW. I would buy again as these shoes worked well for me in town and hiking trails with some elevation.

everyday shoes inside and out. the only wide comfortable sneaker there is.

Great fit, used for biking and cross training activities. I find traditional running shoes have too much instability for my ankles. This shoe has a wide sole and excellent stability without added weight. My workouts (treadmill, elliptical, bike) were immediately more productive. I also took them on a trip so that I had some city-walking shoes, and noticed that it's a bit high in the ankle and my "no-show" socks rubbed at the ankle. Regular socks work great.

I love New Balance shoes. Comfortable and fit well. Highly recommend New Balance.

In black, this shoe is perfect for dressy casual. Makes walking and standing very comfortable. A little snug when fresh out of the box, but it breaks in nicely and offers good support.

Like that they are white and mostly leather type instead of breathable, good for winter however the soles are slippery on certain surfaces which is not good for what I wanted them for. I always buy a 4E width (these are men's) and these actually are too small as they hurt my feet so I think you may have to go up on your width size. The other shoes I have bought from NB are great because they are wide enough for me.

I am on my feet at work and this shoe does nothing to help. My feet and legs hurt and I only work 6 hours. Won't buy it again.
