I use these sneakers to take long walks every day. They are great and do not require breaking in time! I am not sure if my feet are just in between sizes, but I needed the 8.5 as opposed to an 8, but I must say I noticed I recently went up to a 8.5 in my Chloe flats as well.

I use my shoes to walk my 5,000-10.000 steps a day.

I try to take a brisk walk of 2-3 miles in the morning and evening. My route is up and down hill on paved surfaces and the shoes provide cushioning.

Ulike the 409 New Balance sneaker which is No Longer Available .. it was the Perfect Fit Unfortunately, my newly purchased product 608v5 is very uncomfortable ... The 608v5 is NARROW in the TOE AREA & INADEQUATE in the TOE BOX height - NOT high enough to comfortably accomodate my toes. And I wear a D width and it is too tight! I WOULD LIKE TO RETURN THESE 2 PAIRS OF 608V5s & GET A REFUND!!! Would definitely NOT recommend!!!!

I am replacing two pair of many years old 608's that I work outside in. I also have 2 psir of 990's that I love. I would have bought another pair of 990's but need an all leather pair of shoes. The leather on the new 608's where the laces start on the toe looks like it was too wide and puffs up. The right side of the left shoe does not look right. The sole is stiffer than I remember with the previous new 608's and are not as comfortable. I will keep these since they are for outside work. But will look for another shoe the next time.

After some research, this shoe style was recommended on several websites so I decided to order. This shoe is very comfortable, with good support and is exactly what I was looking for fast walking and light jogging.

I always buy New Balance. This is the first time I have ordered them online. I was a little concerned when they arrived... The shipping box and shoe box were destroyed but the shoes were perfect! Great fit!

I use the sneaker for personal use and always found the fir of New balance to be better than the Nike sneakers.

If you suffer w/various foot problems and wear custom orthotics this style is ideal. Am female but purchase men's to enjoy comfort/style and ease inserting orthotics. DON'T discontinue this style, please!

Fit well. Comfortable to walk in. I generally wear them to and from the gym and around the house for walking. Haven't used them on the treadmill yet but I feel confident they will be great.

Use for Everyday activity's, comfortable and are now very lightweight. It's an appealing look and well constructed shoe.

you should promote these to people that have diabetes. These are the only shoes that don't hurt my feet

My mother ordered these sneakers she usually wears 7.5. They were way too big for her both wide and long. I have been using them. I usually require 7.5 wide and still these shoes are too wide. I have to lace them so tightly that I had to cut a good 8 inches off the laces and the toe buckles as i have to lace them so tightly. And I have wide feet! They are also more like a size 8.

I use this product for exercise. It supports my arches and gives me balance.

I wear these everyday to work. They fit perfectly and are comfortable. NB are the only sneakers that do not make my feet hurt.

Have not had women's narrow athletic shoes with memory foam before. After a few days of short wear times, they formed right to my feet. Very comfortable.

New Balance is always my #1 choice...always fits the best and wears the longest. Plus, I never have liked Nike and their spokesperson who will not stand for our National Anthem...
