I arm a CNA and I'm on my feet all day. This sneaker gives great support while still being comfortable. I wore this sneaker all day the first day... fit perfect and didn't need to be broken in. Also no slipping on wet floors! This will be my work show from more on.

I've had 2 or 3 pairs of 608s before. They were my most comfortable shoes for daily work and wear and for walking (not vigorous hiking). The heel support in the new ones is inferior -- too soft. The old ones (in my usual size) were tight in the toes. The new ones, EE width, are fine in the toes but less snug overall.

I want to correct part of what I said in previous review. After wearing the shoes for several days they are more comfortable and feel like my old 608's. I would buy this shoe again. I am sorry for the bad review that I gave earlier. I was wrong.

I have a lot of trouble with my feet. Constant cramping and foot pain. I needed to find a shoe that would accomodate my orthodics and my wide width. NB has always catered to wide width sizes. The shoes I purchased fit perfectly and accomodate my foot size as well as providing good support to my feet.

Purchased for family member after foot surgery. They stated they love the feel and the wide width helps with comfort when foot swells.

Much more narrow toe box than my last pair. But they are still decent shoes.

I have callouses on big toes. Needed tennis shoes that give me plenty of room for toes, plus excellent cushion for walking because I walk 4.2 miles each morning (five days), and play golf once a week. The 608v5 shoes fit the bill to a tee. I have no pain after walking and the cushion is excellent for walking. What a great shoe. Thanks

Wear these all the time for casual wear, super comfortable for walking. These are also my go to gym cross trainers. Love the fact that New Balance makes a wide for us with feet that need to spread, LOL Love New Balance, solid shoes that fit and last. Recommend.

My son-in-law and I have worn New Balance shoes for over 20 years now. The fit, comfort, and value are exceptional. We would not consider any other brand.

They do squeak when you walk. I also own a pr of 990 s which are very comfortable. Service was quick, ty.

This shoe is comfortable, slick, and has an amazing feel.

I don't even look at any other brand. New Balance last so much longer and look better than any shoe I have ever worn. I buy two pair at a time.
