Somewhat heavier runner, training 20-30 mpw averaging 7:15-8:00/mile. Mid-foot striker with reasonably good form. I bought these seeking a supportive, cushioned trainer. They would fit the bill if it weren't for a design defect they have. Just below the surface of the apparently well-padded hell tab, there is a rigid point (the top of a seam maybe) that jabs into my achilles. It was not noticeable until I had run about three miles in them, but after several runs these have caused legit blisters on the skin of my achilles tendons. Disappointed and returning them.

Worst Brooks I have ever worn. The shoe digs into the back of my heel even when broken in. Not nearly as comfortable as my older pair of Glycerins. Can't say I will buy Brooks again.

Nice looking shoe and felt comfortable but has zero support against pronation. I am returning them.
