The shoe seems too spongy. I’m 6’9” and 280 pounds....and I enjoy jogging. Well, more of a slow shuffling, but whatever. For me, the shoe just didn’t seem to give enough stability, and the cushion was too...spongy...for lack of a better word. It felt as if the cushion should have given a little more resistance. Hard to describe. I won’t order this model again.

The size and fit of these was right on. Style was nice and so was the color scheme. The reason I sent them back was due to the very stiff feel of them. There was very little give and they hurt my feet within 15 minutes of wearing them. I’ve been wearing the Ghost 11s for awhile and hoped that these were similar. They are not. I couldn’t imagine running any distance in them.

I'll start by saying that I've purchased 6 pairs of Adrenaline shoes over the last decade. Likely thousands of race miles combined. With that said, this latest GTS 19 has been a huge disappointment. Frankly, uninspiring. The look and color options are definitely an improvement. However, that's where the positives end. They run a little big (makes he wonder if I should have ordered a 1/2 size smaller). And even then, the new fabric upper has stretched, slightly. However, for an avid runner used to the old design, it's noticeable. Just makes running not as much fun. The new bottoms seem to be clunkier with a lot of extra foam. This makes for a comfortable ride, but not like the old design. I just don't feel as "tight" as I'm used to with Adrenalines. And lastly, the shoe laces (Yes this is valid). They are no good. I've had to tighten these so tight, now I have extra laces flopping all over. The old laces were high quality, these are not. I suspect the loose upper fabric has something to do with the need to keep tightening these strings. I'm actually considering cutting the excess or buying new strings entirely. Overall, they are a decent quality shoe, but NOT the quality Ive come to expect from the Adrenaline series and definitely not Brooks. I've searched long and hard for the old models, to no avail. With that said, if Brooks continues to produce this same shoe, I will switch to a different one after a decade worth of miles with Adrenaline.

The first time I tried these shoes, the shoes were defective. So back they went and a new pair was shipped out. I really appreciate what Brooks has done with the guide rails! The rails really do not feel like you're wearing a supportive shoe AT ALL! Gone are the days of feeling that hard piece of plastic along the arches and heels. Sadly, I began to feel the style of the shoes didn't cater to my feet well. Maybe too much support for me.

Decent shoe but not for the money. This should be a $100 shoe at best. Overall comfort is okay but is does feel a little on the large side compared to all my other size 10.5. Feels wide at the toebox and high in the rear. Also feels heavier than all my previous Brooks shoes.

I wish you had continued using high density foam on the inside of of the midsole of earlier versions of the Adrenaline shoe. I need arch support and the new GTS19 version's lack of this feature feels too cushy and not as supportive as I would like.

Personally have lived in Adrenaline for many years, however this new design lacks the support of older models. The attempt to provide additional cushioning has come at the cost of stability. I currently am trying Saucony brand due to developing Plantar fasciitis with the new GTS-19

I was looking for a show to replace my Brooks Pure Cadence since they discontinued that one. I have had about five pair of those in the past. The Adrenaline GTS19 by comparison seemed a little clunky. Thicker and wider sole which I am sure helps stability but I just did not think I would be happy with these over time. So I returned and got the Ghost instead which are closer to what I was looking for.

Shoes are comfy and the toe box is wider so these things are definitely pros. I also like the color schemes they’ve introduced recently. The one problem I have is that they aren’t rigid enough in the forefoot. The 18’s weren’t as flimsy and they take effort to bend in that area; similar to more of what a rocker bottom shoe would do. People with forefoot pain/issues can’t or probably shouldn’t wear the 19’s because of that reason. I am currently wearing Hokas because of a plantar plate tear and I’m trying to transition back to Brooks. I’m having to return the 19’s because they bend without effort in the forefoot area. It’s scary actually because I’ve worn Adrenaline forever. It’s very upsetting.

THIS IS STILL NOT A REVIVAL OF THE GTS 17! As all us longtime Brooks Adrenaline fans know, the GTS 18 model destroyed a storied, amazing line of running shoe. After reading some reviews on Zappos and the Brooks website that this newer GTS 19 model recaptured some of the lost magic, I decided to try it out, despite the disappointing aesthetics. Unfortunately, it still feels completely unlike my GTS 17 pair, which I tried on side-by-side for comparison. The GTS 19 is restrictive in the toebox, and you can feel extra "bulk" of padding but not in places where it seems helpful, if that makes sense. BUT: I have fantastic news. I asked around and learned that the person who designed the Brooks Adrenaline moved over to New Balance, and this person infused the Brooks Adrenaline feel into this model: the New Balance 860v9. I bought a pair of the 860v9's today since they feel *almost exactly* like my Brooks Adrenaline GTS 17 shoes! So, if you are a dedicated lover of the old Brooks Adrenaline, I recommend looking at the New Balance model instead. However, if you are unfamiliar with the Brooks Adrenaline line, then it may still be worthwhile to try this GTS 19 model in case it happens to be the right fit for you.

I have been buying and walking in the GTS series since GTS 11. These are the only walk / run shoes I can wear that do not rub blisters on my feet. I wore out two pairs of the GTS 18s, the last pair the sole only lasted <1000 miles. Personally my opinion... these shoes are WAY over priced, but considering the trade off of buying a cheaper shoe to foot blister ratio, I don't really have a choice. The insole is cheap and removable, which make it great if you want to replace with an orthotic insole, but if you decide to just use what the shoe comes with, MEH it's nothing special. My biggest gripe however is that the outer sole tends to wear rapidly walking on concrete. Overall, if I have to replace the insole to get the comfort and support on my arch, and the outer sole lasts less than a thousand miles, how is this shoe worth $140 (total cost)???

So far, for me, none.

Not enough arch support for me. Made my right heel hurt at first but seems okay after breaking them in. I think stability/motion control has just become a marketing term now, most of these shoes provide nominal additional support over neutral shoes. It’s like they expect you to add your own sole inserts which can be costly after already spending a bunch of money on the shoe. Getting tired of it.

I'm actually a female Runner and tried wearing the women's version of the shoe. I started with my normal size, a size 12 B, and found it was too narrow. The first the length felt fine after I increased to a d with. I do not have wide feet and normally fit into B width shoes just fine. After wearing the shoes for an 8 mile run my toes felt cramped and blisters formed in areas that became extremely uncomfortable. I decided to transition to the men's version to see if the extra length would help. I went to a size 11d after trying an 11b and found the be with was also too narrow. The 11 D feels pretty good right now. I do wish the length was the same as the new Ravenna tens. I can wear my usual size and enjoyed the woman's colors. The toe box does seem to be slightly narrower in the new adrenaline and the overall width seems to be narrower along with the length being shorter by half a size. Happy running!

Although I ordered the wide, I found the shoe very snug and the toe box small. I would suggest purchasing at least a half size larger. I was disappointed as Brooks usually run true.

I bought these men's Brook shoes because women"s Brooks shoes are not being supplied anymore. The new styles are not available and sizes and colors are very, very, limited in the old styles. I had tried for several months to find a pair of shoes but could not and so settled for these. They are comfortable and have decent cushioning but do feel tighter in the toe box. Is Brook's cutting back on production or what is the deal? I have worn Brooks for more years than I like to admit but may have to look at New Balance again.

Been buying Brooks beast for years and likes them. A sales person convinced me that to help with my pronate problem the brooks adrenaline 19 would be better. I ordered through Zappos and when I received and tried them on the fit was Not the same. The 19’s run bigger both in length and width. Heading back to store to try on smaller size to Make sure of fit before returning and reordering. Also wanted different color but Zappos doesn’t carry it. ??

I ran a marathon in the 18's, the first version of these shoes that I ran in. I fell in love with the 18's and purchased extras to continue running in them. I came to the point where I needed a new pair. I found the 19's at a great price so it was a no brainer. Unfortunately, the 19's have been a disappointment. I have 2 main issues: toe box and length. The toe box seems wide enough (2E) but I feel pressure on my toes and the ball of my foot. I wear shoe size 15. Size 15 felt great in the 18's but the 19's feel a little shorter. Since size 15 is the largest size, I can't move up in size.

On my 3rd pair of these but had to stop wearing. The internal pad of the shoe is developing lumps that are uncomfortable and not in alignment with my foot surface. I have been wearing the Pure line for > 5 years and will go back to that product line.

Disappointed in the Adrenalines. I am a big fan of the Transcend line (especially the Transcend 5) and read good reviews of these, but for a similar price tag, they couldn't hold a candle to the Transcends, to me. I didn't get the same level of support or comfort. I only work these in the rotation on my off days when I'm cross-training or walking or something, just to save the wear on my Brooks shoes I actually enjoy... and I enjoy most of them. Not sure what folks like so much about this shoe.

The right shoe had a hole at the toe box within 2 weeks of wearing. The shoes need a reinforced toe box. These are my son's 3rd pair of Adrenaline and they all have holes at the toe. Mizuno Wave Rider 22, on the other hand, is going strong without any damages for over 5 months.

I have been running in the GTS since 2012. I run anywhere between 15-25 miles per week. The GTS 19 does not provide the same support as with previous models. I do not like the new foam soles. I think they are too soft. There are very comfortable to walk in, but running was causing pain in my heals that I never experienced before. Also, the upper area of the shoe at the ankles is higher than previous models, and rub against my ankles, which I find annoying and also concerned me that it may cause blisters. I tried a pair of Brooks Beast to replace the GTS, but they were also a disappointment and were not the running shoes for me. I have moved on to another brand of running shoe, and they are great! They remind me of the previous Brooks GTS. It's too bad that Brooks moved on from a successful shoe platform to a sole that reminds me of the cheaper brand running shoes. Yet, they raised the price point by $10. I gave the GTS 19 2 stars due to the fact that other than the shoe material rubbing my ankles, they are a very comfortable shoe to walk around in, which should count for something. I did not walk for long periods of time, just around the house.

These shoes fit ok - a bit longer than the GTS 17s and 18s - and look nice, but Brooks decided to ruin the Adrenalines with significantly spongier midsoles. This is great if you like a lot of cushion, but terrible if you have plantar fasciitis in both feet and need them stiffer. The GTS 17s were perfect. I now wish I bought more pairs of those. Very disappointed to have to return these and search for a new shoe.
