I had the GTS 18s and loved them. Probably the best shoe I have ever worn. However, the 19s are different in the back and significantly aggravate my achilles (issues), which never happened with their predecessor. Should've bought two pair of the 18s.

I've been loyally running in Adrenalines for over 10 years, and these are by far the worst model. After not being injured for many years, I developed a knee injury (tendonosis or something) after a couple months of running in these shoes. I've taken multiple breaks, but my knee never seems to heal, and I can't help but think it has something to do with these shoes. Also, the front inside of the shoes is a loose material and not comfortable at all. Idk what happened, but these are a major downgrade from previous models, especially considering how great the 16, 17, and 18 models were.

This was a really disappointing shoe. There is no cushioning under the front of the foot, and little to no arch support. I chose this because it had one of the highest "excellent" arch support ratings, but it wasn't as good as some shoes I've had before that got only "moderate" arch support ratings. One good thing I can say for it is that it has low cut ankle hubs so the sides don't saw into your ankles like some other shoes. Overall, this is not a shoe I would recommend.
I'd also recommend:
ASICS GT-1000 6 was much better (but ASICS GT-1000 7 is completely awful)

The biggest problem with the Brooks Adrenaline GTS 19 is there's hardly any cushioning under the ball of the foot (the part just beneath the toes), and this creates very sore impacted feet quickly. (Are shoe companies TRYING to make shoes uncomfortable?). The reviews gave these shoes a higher rating of "excellent" for arch support than other shoes, but I found that very inaccurate. I'd say the arch support is somewhere between poor and moderate. The heels had fair cushioning, but it needs to be much better. All I can say for this shoe is that it's not as bad as other terrible shoes (ASICS GT-1000 8 is much worse). But I won't be buying the Brooks Adrenaline GTS 19 in the future unless they actually put good cushioning in the entire base in their shoes! Very disappointing shoe.
I'd also recommend:
ASICS GT-1000 7 (not 8!) was much better, although still not as good as older models in that line.

The fit is fine and the shoes work great. This should be a five star review. Except that May is a little over half way gone and the one of the shoes has a hole in the top fabric, near the big toe. The shoes were purchased in March. And they are not even worn every day. So they lasted for all of two months. Great shoes but poor quality. So disappointing:((((

Decent shoe above average support. I wouldn’t buy this shoe again I think the price point for what your getting is way high. I’ll put the shoe on rotation but will most likely go back to the Hoka One one Bondi when it needs replacing

Feel very little padding. It is half sizable smaller in size, my big toe was hitting when I went for a walk.
I will send them back.

shoe is extremely comfortable. I have a pair that I wore on my first 1/2 marathon. At mile 3 they began to cut into my heel. By the time I finished the race the back of the shoe was soaked in blood. I accidently grabbed them for a walk and they did the same thing. I felt the back of the shoes and found a small not on the inside of the back of each shoe, exactly wear the rubbed my heel.

This design is nowhere nearly as decent as the 2017 version. Go back to the 2017 and keep what was working well.

I agree with the runners who've said that the GTS 19 "update" has been a disaster. I've been running in Adrenalines for probably for about 8 years, happily, healthily, with no foot or leg issues. I loved the 2017s and 2018s, having run through multiple pairs of each If the focus of these shoes has been taken from the "foot to the knee," the result of six weeks in this model has been plantar fasciitis for the the first time in 40 years of running, landing me in physical therapy to undo the condition. My doctor's first recommendation was "get out of those shoes--whatever they did to that model, it's not working for you!"

I have been wearing Adrenalines for at least 11 years. As many of the reviews already stated, the fit is very different this year. I have been wearing a 9D this entire time; this year's 9D Adrenalines swim on my feet and flop around. My heel also slips out with every step. Weirdly, the 8.5D is too tight in the toe box. The store I tried these on in also mentioned they are no longer a stability shoe--which is what I need. Please bring back at least some parts of the old models--my favorite was the 17. Thankfully, I still have one new pair to wear until I find a replacement. Also, please bring back some fun colors. This year, the style is pretty hideous. For fun, I loved the NYTimes version.

Had to return these, what a huge disappointment. Andrenalines have been trusty go to show for 10 years until this version. After 3 runs started to develop serious IT band pain (never has been an issue). Immediately switched back to old shoes and the pain went away. The guide rails just don't work. The shoe also feels heavy and soft compared to old versions. Brooks please fix this!

I have been wearing Adrenaline for about 10 years, and I have never had an issue with any other version (although some I liked better than others). Being a pronator, this has been the only shoe I run in. However, the GTS 19 seems much different than the past versions. First off, the shoe felt tight around the top of my ankle (in a bad way), but I didn't give that much thought. On the first run, I had noticed that my foot slid around a lot in the shoe around any turn, and after only 3 runs in this shoe, I had experience fatigue in my Achilles tendon. I switched to a different brand and the issue went away. I have tried to switch back to this shoe on 3 separate occasions, and I have experienced discomfort when running within 2 runs. I am now afraid to buy any more shoes from the Adrenaline line, and I feel lost on what shoes to try after 10 years of only using these.......

I had been really excited in trying these shoes after reading the reviews on all the running sites, however since purchasing a pair I have had nothing but trouble with sore knees and am finding they offer very little support.
I have ordered my usual size and width and finding that my feet are moving allot in the shoes itself.
I thought I could by with confidence after seeing the true blue 90 day trail and what a great idea it is! However only to find out it's not available in my country

Highly dissapointed with the new shoe. They have changed everything and it flat out is not nearly as good of a shoe. The biggest thing is the fabric on the inside of the shoe. They changed it from a heavier fabric to some kind of cheap polyester and from a person who wears cotton socks this caused serious blisters on my heels that curbed my marathon training for 2 weeks...Never had that with the old pairs. Flat out it just isnt comfortable...not sure I want to wear this shoe to run my marathon next month. Might have to go look at the equivalent in new balance or asics. I have been wearing brooks for close to 12 years now. The back of the shoe cushion is too much...Miss the old design...

I have worn these shoes since they were first introduced. I am beyond disappointed here!! The toe box is tight (wore a blister on my big toe next to the nail bed). Strained my calf while running in them as well. I have never had a issue until now. I would not recommend the GTS 19's to no one. I guess a new design did not work well for me.

I have been wearing the Adrenaline for over 11 years now. I over pronate when I run and I have worn every brand of shoe looking for the best fit, and when I found the Adrenaline I have never worn anything else. Typically I have run between 15 and 30 miles a week depending on how often I am able to run. The reason I am writing this review is because this newest shoe with the "guide rails" is a disaster. All of a sudden I am experiencing foot pain from these shoes. After 11 years I can only blame this massive overhaul in design. PLEASE CHANGE BACK TO THE OLD VERSION!! I tried changing the size of the shoe and it did not help. It's now time for me to buy a new pair of shoes and I just can't buy another pair of Adrenaline :( .

I've been wearing Brooks since 2011 and have been very happy until this new season they are wearing in a area that normally don't wear on me and seems they went with cheap materials on this shoe 2019 Adrenaline so sad they did replace the pair with a new pair and it's happened again. The agent told me they should only last 4-5 months. Previous years they would last well over a year sometimes two. I guess it's time to shop for another brand.

Brooks, you have totally messed up the GTS 19 shoe. You changed so many things that you should have just called it by a different name; this is no longer the GTS. I am an over pronator and have been using the GTS for over 10 years because it was the only shoe that allowed me to walk and run pain free. The GTS 19 is no longer a support / stability shoe. You got rid of the harder foam material in the medial post and also eliminated the hard plastic support structure on the sole mid section These were the two elements that made the GTS the support / stability that it used to be. After using the GTS 19 a few hours, I got the typical pain from over pronation: foot, knee, leg and lower back pain. That did not happen with any of the previous GTS. The fit is also different. The older GTRS used to fit like a glove. The GTS 19 fit is longer and wider and has extra fabric around the toe area. The new material around the ankle is shiny and slippery and make the foot slip out. And what happened to all the nice and funky colors that the GTS 18 used to come in? You need to go back to what the GTS 18 and previous models were, supportive and stability shoes with the firmer medial post and hard plastic support structure. Please correct this grave mistake that you have made. Thanks.

We asked you for a running shoe For Supination. This is the very WORST SHOE for supination. This Adrenalin shoe is the absolute worst shoe. You need to make a clarification that only some shoes are for runners with supination the rolling out of of the foot. These shoes are for PRONATION. That exact opposite. These are very bad for ones knees. You ought to know better.

Been buying adrenalines for several years. I do not like this new design. Despite looking cool to me they were very chunky. wider soles. I was looking forward to the feel of a new pair and actually experienced some ankle pain...not a fan of this model personally. I know I am in the minority

Very very tight compared to all my other Brooks sneakers I have purchased in the past. Too bad such a great looking sneaker. Have to give it one star because of the sizing.
