Fit was okay. Not entirely comfortable but not unbearable either. I returned these boots and purchased an Eric Micheal boot in a similar style. My issues with the Vioinc Jolen are: there is a black shading on toe and heel that is much more prominent than shown on the photo; and 2) the leather did not seem to be of high quality. Maybe it isn't even leather. The overall look of the boots are low quality.

So wanted these Vionic boots to work out as I have many pairs of Vionic shoes and love them. Something is very odd with the foot arch in this particular shoe. There is a ridge in the wrong place and I couldn't get beyond it. I knew it would bother me. Style wise, they were ok but a little plastic looking. Since the shoe was not comfortable (as I have had with other Vionic shoes) and the style was nothing special, they had to go back.

Not a great shoe for people with skinny ankles and boney thin feet. I wear a size 10.The shoe felt very loose and wobbly. Unattractive around my ankle because it could not fill out the space. Runs big and wide. Loved the arch support. I have very flat pronated feet. Will be returning these.

It was pretty but just did not fit. I take a wide and ordered a wide. Just not the right size.

The arch support is badly engineered in this bootie. Too bad because the exterior is cute and well made. I purchased directly from Vionic for this shoe. The customer service was lackluster. Admittedly, requesting an exchange of insoles is a tall order. I thought maybe just maybe Vionic would take into account me being a repeat customer, other customer complaints, and the price of the shoe. Nope. I can buy another set of insoles or return the shoes. Oh well, back they go. Learn from my mistake. Just shop with Zappos folks, shipping is much faster. You won’t get anything special shopping from Vionic directly.

Very attractive boot, but it runs very small, and the Wide width is NOT wide at all, but is the same dimension (measuring across the underside of the sole) as my Medium width Vionic loafers from two years ago. The first pair of Jolene boots I ordered was a half-size larger than my customary Vionic shoe size and it was VERY TIGHT. I ordered a second pair, a half-size up (now a full-size larger than what I usually wear) and a third pair, a half-size up from that (ie., a size-and-a-half larger than I usually wear!). This may sound nuts, but believe me, these shoes run SMALL! I'll report back with my findings after the second and third pair of boots arrive. I really like the styling, so I'm hoping I can find a comfortable fit. Shame on you Vionic for your sizing inconsistencies year to year! And thank you Zappos for your free deliveries/free returns, so customers can try on lots of shoes until we find the right size!

So wanted to these booties. Ordered 6 1/2M, as per reviews saying they ran large. Nope, too small. then odered my normal 7M, again, too small. I even tried these on in store in a 7M, but in different color to make sure. Store did not have black leather. I am so disappointed they did not work.

I really like Vionic shoes, but these did not seem to have very much arch support. I did not think I would be comfortable walking around in these for any length of time. Too bad, because they're really cute booties.

I have only had these shoes since September and they were great out of the box but now the souls of the boot has peeled off. I'm frustrated and disappointed because these were not a cheap purchase. I have also had Vionics before that I have had few years and nothing like this happened. I'm disapointed my once go to brand is no longer a reliable choice.

This is my final, follow-up review for this bootie. I started out by ordering a half-size up and a wider width (7.5W) from my normal Vionic shoe size (7M) so I could wear socks. That was extremely tight--too narrow across the instep and too short in the toe box. Then I ordered the next size up (8W), a full size larger than my normal size, plus another pair a size-and-a-half up from my normal size (8.5W). The larger the size, the wider the booties felt, and both of these shoes were way too long. My conclusion: a half size up, in the wider width, was the closest to the best fit, but still did not feel comfortable in this bootie because it runs smaller and narrower than Vionic shoes of the same size in previous seasons. All my other Vionic loafers are a 7M. If I had ordered my normal size in the bootie, I would have felt like one of Cinderella's ugly stepsisters trying to squeeze into the glass slipper. Also, please be aware that the Jolene, Thatcher and Serena booties are identical in sizing. I know because I tried them. They ALL run smaller and narrower than you might expect.

Like others have said, these do not feel like true Vionic comfort. I wore around the house for a few minutes and they hurt my feet. The size and width felt true to size, but the typical Vionic comfort was not there. So despite being very beautiful and more stylish than others, I have sadly returned them. I love Vionics and have several pairs as a knee surgery a few years ago requires me to wear more supportive shoes. So for now, I went back to last years purchase of Vionic Serena boots. I am saddened by the difference in the comfort and feel of quality in the Jolene.
