Was hoping for a little more of the typical "Merrell" arch support and fit -but after it broke in, it's really comfortable and an incredibly light shoe.

Ordered a size 12 but runs a bit big. This is a pair of nice looking casual shoes. Love the olive color that I chosen. Very light and comfortable. Goes well with a pair of jeans. Recommended for those looking for a casual shoes to match a pair of jeans.

the shoes are very comfortable, the length is spot on but I wish they were a little wider. Hoping the leather will relax a bit.

These are great looking casual shoes that you can really dress up or down. Very comfortable but I had to order a few to finally get the right size. Seemed to be 1-1.5 larger than my usual. Merrell was great with returns and postage included, so exchanges were easy.

I just bought this shoes and from the look and it comfort i like it accept for to know this made in viertnam .i really not sure for it quality build..:)

Two weeks in, and seems to be just what I hoped - solid, mostly comfortable, classy enough for the office. Only con is that it's taking some time to break in, which seems to be the case more and more with Merrell shoes, but I'm confident most of the ways they don't have perfect comfort now will break in and smooth out.

I returned them today, and I must compliment the return staff. They were cordial and performed their job well. That is how to generate loyalty. Unfortunately, the shoes seemed a bit small and narrow. The staff was very helpful on the return. As for the shoes, they were light weight and attractive, and I felt I could have worn them everywhere. .

These shoes are OK. I have such a high opinion of Merrell hiking boots that I decided to buy a pair of these online. There really isn't much to them. They're very light. I sort of expected the padding around the ankle to be similar to hiking boots, but it's not like that at all. There's no real padding at all. That's OK. Just not what I expected. It's risky buying shoes online, so I'm not sure I'll do that anymore. Definitely will continue to buy Merrell hiking boots, though. Merrell hiking boots are awesome.

While there's a lot to love about these shoes like the style (easy to dress up or down) the real leather and moisture wicking interior lining, and even the cushioned foam base, there's some major drawbacks as well. Firstly, the heel counter is soft, and doesn't do much for ankle support. Second, the material on the bottom of the shoe is soft, and wears away easily, leaving almost no decent traction after 3 weeks of regular wear. Now a solid rubber base down there would extend the life of the shoe enormously. As is, I think the bottom will wear away in about 2-3 more months. Also, there's nothing to speak of on the arch support department, which for me is ok because I always go with a good insert anyway, but perhaps something for other to consider. Overall it's a sad story because they are comfortable and look great, but provide terrible support and wear quickly.

The shoe looks very good on the foot, even on my size 15 foot. I could use a little more support for walking, so I'll keep these shoes for a little more dressy uses rather than long distance walking.

When I fell in love with Merrells in the 1990s, it was because the shoes fit my feet like a pair of supple yet sturdy gloves. These Barkleys (which I immediately returned for my money back) somehow manage to be both stiff and insubstantial at the same time. I would gladly pay more for a shoe that approximates the high quality that I used to love; until then, no more Merrells for me.

I purchased this shoe thinking it would be like the previous version and boy was I wrong. This shoe is extremely narrow and I am not even one who purchases or needs wide shoes.
