This is my 3rd pair of Merrells. I wanted something that looked a little more work-appropriate but still made my feet feel good. These fit great, are comfortable, and accept my preferred insoles.

I got these shoes fairly recently as an average sneaker and I think they are perfect. The lightness of the material is very nice and they feel breathable. They look pretty awesome also.

Sizing larger

I was looking for a comfortable casual work shoe and ran across this one. The shoe fit like a glove and was super comfortable. Duranble leather and super light! I did not expect to get all of that in this affordable shoe. Great job!

The Barkley is out-of-the-box comfortable. I love the fit of Merrell hikers, but I needed a business-casual shoe with the same spot-on fit and arch support. Barkley gives me both. Plus, they look great.

Comfortable light weight shoe perfect for dressy casual.

First off, these shoes are LIGHT. I began to question the durability because my slippers are heavier than these things. They are super comfortable though and I loved my previous Merrell shoes (those lasted 8 years) so I was willing to give them a solid try. So I'm at the pool and I'd just taken off the floating device from my 3 yo son. In the time that I turned around to get his water shoes to put on him he walks straight over to the hot tub and goes all the way in, fully going underwater and he doesn't know how to swim. I forgot my sandals so I'm in these new Merrrell shoes and I have no time to take them off. I jump in and yank my son out - he coughs a couple times and is frightened but okay. Both shoes were fully submerged and squeaking out water with every step. I was certain the shoes would get warped or get a funky smell. I removed the insole and set them in front of a hair dryer on low, just hoping they aren't ruined. After a few hours it's mostly dry and I wear them to dinner. Can only tell a little dampness, only detect a smell of wet leather and I'm floored. The next day these shoes felt just as great (and no smell) as they did in the pre-hot tub era. These are my new faves - wear them casually, wear them with my jeans to work.

A few years ago, my wife found a pair of Merrell sneakers for me and I loved their (lack of) weight. They were joined by a pair of waterproof shoes that are perfect for our upstate NY winters. Now, I found the perfect companions for some Spring travel plans that match the 'weightlessness' of my sneaks with some leather uppers to produce these super-comfortable walkers. I especially like the removable inserts and that cloth rim right at the Achilles tendon. Nice touch, Merrell!
