I love the quality materials and construction of the Foray jacket. It definitely keeps you dry and the two huge side zippers do a great job with venting. My only complaint is that the fit is really boxy. I am 5'10", 170 and wear a medium in pretty much everything. A medium in this jacket borders on almost large and does not have a very slim or athletic fit to it at all. It would work well layering on top of an additional softshell jacket should conditions/temps allow. However, as a solo jacket over a t-shirt, I feel like I'm swimming in a medium.

I wear this jacket all year! It is a great lightweight rain jacket that is easy to move around in during the Spring, Summer and Fall. I breathes well while providing great protection from the elements. In the Winter, it becomes a great backcountry ski layer. I have worn it in wet coastal snowpacks in AK and cold morning starts in the Green Mountains. Its easy to pack away when you peel a layer and packs small. Its the only jacket I wear year round. I have tried others and none match the versatility of the Foray. It just works!

Very light and packable with the added benefit and reliability of GoreTex. Very soft and supple fabric but the zipper tends to snag though.

Have tried lots of different waterproof/breathable membranes and the only one that is waterproof is gortex, which doesn't breathe well. Income OR and the best pit zips in the world, get WP from the fabric, breathability from the zips and I can actually hike in the rain comfortably without being in a sauna.

Ordered this for camping and hiking trips. The jacket works so well and has so many options for cooling that I wear it almost everyday.

This product is amazing, it's my first real rain coat and I have it since April 9th 2019. I will definitely buy another one when I won't be able to wear the one I have now anymore.

Great light jacket for damp weather. Only negative is that is is not really breathable for hard exertion activities.

Very light weight. Have been I couple downpours and stayed dry. Length is good as well. 5'10" 195 lbs, fits a bit big but good for another layer underneath.

When I received the jacket I was a little apprehensive about the quality. Once I started really looking at it and seeing all of the detail put in to zipper locations pulltabs etc. I was pleasantly surprised I haven't had a lot of use with it yet but the times I have worn it The jacket has served its purpose well. It has an awesome fit and looks great and is very waterproof

I have the Maximus in a size large and normally wear a large for layering. This fits snug but not in a bad way. So if your wear a large that fits both good with and without layers this will fit great if your looking for just a fleece layer under and no loose parts for fast ascents.

I really like the double full length side zips. They allow my to let the front of the jacket be outside of my hip strap of my pack to help keep my front side dry in heavy rain conditions or breath in humid conditions. Great material, good fit.

This is without a doubt my favorite piece of gear. I'm on my second and will never go anywhere without this jacket close by.

This is my go-to jacket for weekly adventure, and daily use. The Pacific Northwest is wet, and this jacket has outperformed all of my other 2-2.5 layer jackets, by far. From mushroom hunting in the forest, glissading down icy chutes, crossing wet mountain passes, head-down windy kayak trips, and coastal surf trips with driving rain, this jacket takes it all, dries out quickly, and asks for more. I'm impressed with the durability, weight, ventilation, and comfort. This is my third one in 4-5 years, and it took a LOT to thrash my last two. If you don't abuse your gear like me, it'll last a decade easy. A great buy.

Wore this in the field working for Parks Canada on a cold and wet day in the Northwest Territories. With my field jacket underneath I was toasty warm and dry. I cannot recommend this ideal lightweight yet durable jacket enough.

Very happy with this jacket. I've used it a few times and it has kept me very dry. I'm 5"9" 180, muscular and the fit is just a bit snug where my chest meets my armpits and just a tad long in the sleeves. Would be a perfect fit for someone on the slender/narrow side. Still a great jacket and I'm very happy with it. OR quality is clear.

I purchased this jacket before going on a trip to Ecuador, and to use as a waterproof outer shell over my OR transcendent jacket next winter. This is the best rain jacket I've ever owned - it's breathable, soft, quiet, and a good wind break. On our trip I used it as a rain jacket and then threw it on when going through thick brush to help protect my arms when the trail unexpectedly turned dense. It fits perfectly over the Transcendent puffy, I'm looking forward to getting a lot of use out of this versatile jacket!
