I bought these shoes for summer walking when my traditional walking boots feel too heavy. I normally take a 6.5 in hiking boots but I went by the sizing guide and opted for the 6. They are spot on lengthwise. At first wearing they felt a bit snug round the middle section but once walking in them I was glad of that support and they feel comfortable. I have narrow heels and they fit me perfectly with plenty of wiggle room in the toe area. I would say they may be a little tight for anyone with wide feet. After walking through a field of wet grass my feet stayed completely dry so the waterproof quality works. I love these shoes as they feel as light as trainers but are waterproof.

I love love love these shoes. Took them to Hawaii just a few weeks back and went on many hikes where my foot was almost completely submerged in water and they remained water proof the entire time! One small issue is they kidn of dig into your foot where the tongue meets the side of the shoe, but i have since tied them differently (skipped the second to last hole and then go back through that hole) and they feel much better.

Salomon hiking shoes never disappoint and I love the OUTline GTX! I struggle having wide feet and a little bit of "cankles" and these shoes are SUPER comfortable! I have worn them on pavement taking my dog on walks, have worn them hiking and dare I saw I might wear them to train on the staircase too! My daugter wants to steal them from me, good thing they're too big for her! I also love how easy they are to clean. And have you checked the fun colors? SO happy with these shoes!!

I like these shoes so much I've decided to reserve them as "city hikers" for walking and hiking and biking in local parks when I can't get away to the mountains, desert, or beach.

I got these elsewhere, ordering a second pair from LL Bean. I walk in these daily, and find them to be almost "sticky" on the bottom, in that they are non-skid. I appreciate the extra support and like the navy color. It is hard to find good walking shoes at age 73, and these work!

I am thrilled to finally find a pair of size 11 hiking boots that fit me! My left foot is slightly larger then my right, so I have had issues finding boots that fit because they are always a little too small on my left foot. These shoes fit the bill perfectly. They are long enough to not bother my left foot and they are also a true medium fit in width. The sole is supportive, thick enough to be comfortable but not heavy. Easy to walk in. Wore then a lot on my recent two week trip and I had no issues. They are waterproof and comfortable, wipe clean. I wish they came in other colors. Love them!
