The coat is room and appears well made you could layer underneath easily. I haven't had a chance to wear it yet. The only reason I wouldn't give it a full five stars is that the fleece liner is clingy and you will need to be care about what you wear under it

I was impressed with how fast the order came one day ahead of schedule. The product is quality. I only replaced a previous one, because I needed a larger size to fit over my flannel shirts,

Love the coat - really versatile and well made. If I had it to do over I wouldn't have chosen fleece lining. The fleece is warm and nice but has friction in the sleeves with any long sleeve shirts when putting the coat on. Given that Columbia offers similar coats with slick puffy liners, I would recommend those. But the fleece is nice.

I bought this version of the Bugaboo because it comes with a hood, unlike other versions I purchased before. The jacket works great so far, however, it would have been nice for a zippered pocket to hold a cell phone next to the main outer zipper as there are on previous Bugaboo jackets.

Looks great and fits great. Would prefer snaps rather than Velcro. Columbia logo is not embroidered. Screen printing doesn't last

Nice fit. Fabric in sleeves does not stay in the sleeves and pulls thru when arms are inserted

The jacket seems high quality and is decently warm, especially for how light and thin it is. This jacket replaced essentially the same model jacket for me from 10 years ago. That older jacket was warmer, but baggier. I'm 6'2" and overall it fits well with the sleeves maybe being a little long. My biggest issue with this jacket is that the sleeves are really tight and my arms aren't that big/muscular. When wearing a long sleeve shirt underneath I have a lot of trouble taking the coat off. When wearing a sweatshirt or sweater it is very difficult to get my arm all the way through and even harder to get it off. I'm hoping with time it will soften/loosen and be easier to get off.

The jacket runs a little big . Not sure if I want to return it or buy for a smaller size .

So far jacket seems nice, warm & waterproof if not maximally breathable for use during athletic activities. And I do like the color. My final thumbs-up/down will only come after seeing how it holds up during some hard use, compared to my prior off-brand jacket that lasted me quite a few years. However, one negative so far, would be the tiny zipper handles... not easy to grab (impossible with gloved hands), and do not feel super durable. Hope overall zipper quality is not a place the cut corners on this jacket, as it is on many brands these days!

I bought this jacket for my husband as a early Christmas present. My husband is husky man. I ordered him a 3x. It fit him well. Sleeves are more than long enough. Only drawback was i felt the jacket was a tad short. It would be perfect if it were a tad longer. Otherwise a good investment

Wore my cousin's jacket to the store. And it fits & keeps you warm perfectly. Then went to this site to order but no longer had the light color I wanted. But it's still nice. So next time.

First the size: I have a different interchange jacket in size 2X and it's a bit snug. I bought this jacket in size 3X Big and it's enormous, there's a big jump between the sizes. The sleeves are also too long. The outer shell: It's waterproof for sure. Water beads up and sits there, it's not absorbed at all. It's lined with Omni Heat silver dots which help keep you warm. However, there are no armpit vents and on an easy hike in 50 degree weather I was sweating profusely. The inner fleece: I hate fleece. That's my fault, I knew the inner jacket was made of fleece when I bought it. It's a fine jacket to just throw on when I have to step outside or walk the dog. My only legitimate complaint is that the fleece sticks to the fabric of your shirt when the jackets are combined. When the jackets are together, they're good for 40 degree weather. Recently temps have been in the 30s and I find myself using a warmer jacket.

Got this jacket for myself as the women's plus size is not big enough. Ended up sizing up for my hips which was a good idea. The jacket is nice, though I wish it had a drawstring or something at the cuffs and waist as the arms are just massive and the waist is about 3 inches too big on me. However, it fits perfectly in the hips, so I'm kinda stuck. Overall, a well built jacket, and I like that I have the versatility of the removable liner. Would definitely buy again, though I would love to see the women's plus going larger which may fit me better overall.

I ordered this coat for my husband as his winter coat after comparing this one to a couple other options. It fits him very nicely and I would say is a true to size fitting item. My only disappointment is that it isn't nearly as thick/warm as I expected it to be.

Pockets are a bit limited, only 2 outer side pockets, no inner pockets (that I could find), although there is a bag-like inner fold. The one vest pocket (left side) will fit a smart phone 5.5" max. Mine is 6" and too big for pocket to close. Otherwise like that it is not heavy, quality of seams and fabric seems good.

This is good coat, for mild winters. It runs a little big and the hood could use so warm lining. The hood will not keep your head and ears warm if you are out in the cold for long periods. The inner lining is not waterproof and the sleeves will not stay in place as you put on the coat. Redesigne is needed for the inner jacket sleeves. No inner pockets for cellphone or any item you want to keep dry. The omi-heat reflectef shield is only attach to the inside of upper part of the outer coat only. The inner jacket doesn't have any omni heat reflected shield like other Columbia winter coats. I am not a fan of China made products and if I would have known I wouldn't have made this purchase. If you don't mind wearing non-American products, then this is a good (not outstanding) lite weather coat.

Not sure if 39 inch sleeves is the average length for a tall person. Took the jacket and fleece lining to a Tailor and they were able to do an outstanding job of shortening the sleeves.

I thought the omni-heat in this jacket, plus the fleece would let me ski with a few layers underneath, and keep me toasty in the teens (degrees F). That may have been the case on a calm day, but add some wind, and It was quite chilly! I also have a lot of built in insulation, if you know what I mean. I think somebody leaner might really be cold. I will see how the temps feel when I ski in barely sub-freezing temps (high 20s). If I can, I will update this review.

Solid construction. Color is a tad "darker" than I'd hoped (based on my perceived color on the website); rendering a bit more gray in real life than the blue I'd visualized prior. With the fleece inside the shell, it's extremely warm... easily withstanding a 20-minute walk in 5 degree winter vortex. Also; it seems this shell allowed me to zip in other Columbia fleeces ( yield color versatility) beyond just the combo which was sold online in this pairing -- tho your mileage may vary on "accepting" any other liner options.
