I got this for my boyfriend in tall. The XL ran a tad big, so am exchanging It for a LT. But we both love it. Great fabric, nice pockets. Totally versatile...can use spring to deep winter.

This a great heavy warm coat. Bought for my husband who is 6-4, 250 lbs and bought same size as usual, even though review states "runs a little small" I bought a 2xlt and it's definitely bigger than any other 2xlt I've bought in the past. Worked great for our ski trip! He even had to remove the liner because he was warm

We ordered this coat for our son in a size larger than what he normally wears because of previous reviewers stating it runs smaller in size. We were very pleased how well it fit and looked. Bonus of multiple pockets, zip-off hood and free ground shipping. He recently received it and in time for more snow in the forecast.

I am very excited writing this review, as a first time customer and buyer, i highly recommend the Bugaboo Interchangeable Jacket. I stand 6'6" and weigh 305 pounds, it's very hard finding jackets for big guys. I live in and currently reside in Maryland but i attended college in North Dakota... i remember seeing locals and students wearing Columbia apparel, so i visited the website and here I am. I wasn't sure about the size so i called in and spoke with a representative name Ryan Bonilla. Ryan was very helpful professional and patient, what a great rep. I told him about the jacket that interest me and i was asking what do he prefer for size. We came to an agreement that the 3xt was better for me because of my height. I've placed my order Feb 6, 2015 and it came today February 13, 2015. Today was very windy and cold... it was 12 degrees when i checked the weather. My order came today from ups around 2:30pm eastern standard time. I was excited about my order and it did not disappoint. The jacket was perfect, it's true to size, huge pockets and i was able to wear it with a hoody underneath the jacket. I love the feel and the light weight of the jacket. I've seen reviews about the sleeves, it's not that bad at all. In fact it doesn't bother me. Upon wearing the jacket outside it did not disappoint. I was warm and comfortable and the huge pockets kept my hands warm. I've ordered the all black color and i will be ordering future products. I truly recommend this product to bigger guys because I know how hard it is to find jackets. One more thing, i have long arms and the length of the sleeves are perfect. I will continue to enjoy my bugaboo.

IT should be noted the website clearly shows a black jacket with a black liner at the time I ordered, twice, I had to return the first one because I thought the grey liner they sent was a mistake, but actually the website is wrong. For a tall person, the jacket fits VERY well, in the arms, and waist. I love it for that part but wish it was black on black, like I wanted.

This is the fourth coat I have purchased this winter. All of them have been either too snug in the mid-section or the sleeves were too short. This coat is perfect!. I am 6'5" and weigh upwards of 375 lbs - so as you can imagine, there are not many options for me. This coat has been great so far!! I recommend it for everyone looking for a good winter coat for commuting, skiing, shoveling, or whatever your use is; but ESPECIALLY FOR BIG AND TALL MEN!

My last Columbia winter coat was probably about 10 years old, and it had a good run, but was starting to show some signs of wear, so I cheked out the new Columbia line-up and decided on this model. This one is much thinner and lighter than my old Columbia coat, but seems to be just as warm! I was skeptical at first, but after wearing it through the last few weeks of single-digit weather and below-zero wind chills here in Pennsylvania, I am very happy with the cold weather performance. I ordered the Large Tall size, and the fit is perfect for me. I like the zip-out lining and detachable hood features....they are a must for me. A couple of other comments... The inside of the fleece lining looks like a shiny disco ball...I get lots of comments on this when people see the inside of my coat, but I think it really does helps to keep in the heat. There is lots of velcro on this coat. It helps with functionality, but it keeps getting stuck to my other clothing, and occasionally other people's clothing if I get too close to them. =) Lastly, the insides of the sleeves are not smooth like my previous Columbia coat, so I have to make an effort to hold onto the ends of my shirt sleeves when I put this on, otherwise, they end up pushed all the way up my arm. Overall, I am very impressed with this coat and how warm it is for its weight and size, and after a couple of weeks wearing it, I am very happy with my purchase! I have received lots of compliments on the look of it too.

My husband is 6'4" and about 230 lbs. The XLT fits him perfectly, looks great on him, and is warm enough for our chilliest North Carolina nights. The shiny inner surface is no big deal. His only complaints have been about the pockets. He likes a side opening chest pocket for ease of access, but this jacket has a top opening chest pocket. Also, he wishes the side pockets were as warm and insulated as the inner jacket is. I asked him if he wanted to return the jacket and keep looking and he said HECK NO. Overall, great!

Purchased this coat a couple of weeks ago. Spent a few days at Okemo this past week, am temps 0 and below warming to mid 20's. Windy 3 out of the 4 days. Also snowed one of the days. This jacket kept me warm and dry with a base layer of smart wool and a light weight fleece pull over = toasty. I had been looking at HH, NF, Marmount all much more expensive, but glad I saved the money . Great jacket

I have owned and used this jacket for about 2 weeks now and I love it. I'm a big guy. 6'4" 310 lbs. I ordered a 3xt. It's just a little tight in the arms but not so much that it would bother me. I would suggest this jacket to anyone.

I bought this coat for my boyfriend as a Christmas present. When he got it he said it looks so thin I doubt it will keep me warm, we'll to his surprise the coat has managed to keep him warm I have noticed that this is the only coat he wears, says the coat is very comfortable and that he would definitely recommend.

I'm a 6'8" 290# man. That being said, this is a fantastic jacket!!!! It fits extremely well. It's not tight or loose, very warm to the point I take the liner out. I can't wait for true cold weather to hit so I will be warm.

Great jacket that is very warm and good for outdoor work. Nice feature to be able to use as two different jackets.

EXCELLENT WIND AND COLD PROTECTION.I WAS SKEPTICAL AT FIRST BECAUSE IT WAS NOT BULKY LIKE A WINTER COAT USED TO BE. THIS IS WELL MADE SIZED RIGHT

Great Jacket...length covers below the waist and covers neck when fully zipped and velcroed. THe liner easily comes off for warmer weather and outer shell still keeps you warm and dry.

I have a 6'4'' hubby that can never find a jacket with long enough sleeves that is warm without being bulky. I saw Columbia's Omni Heat technology and thought...hmmm...worth a shot. I ordered it for my overly-picky husband, picking one size larger than his shirt size. It's absolutely perfect. The sleeves are long enough and it's not bulky. The first thing he said was...'Well, yeah, it fits but it won't be warm enough once winter comes.' We are in North County...Fort Drum, NY. We just got 2+ feet of snow, with more to come, with temps and wind chill bringing the temperature down to 15 degrees at times. So I asked my husband, after he had been outside for nearly an hour plowing snow from our driveway and neighbors, 'So how did the jacket hold up?'. His response 'Okay! It's Warm!' Hooray!! Now I want one for me and my son! :) Thank you Columbia!!

I live in minnesota and i bought this coat for winter. I stay warm and the wind does not bother me. Great coat.

Bought on sale even though 4 stars is worth it! Just finished a walk 27 degrees F only wore T shirt. My old Bugaboo was 2x this one is 1x big.. Fits more snug but motivation to lose weight, as long as i was walking i was ok still felt a chill on the back, sweatshirt underneath would solve this.. Zippers are smaller than my older version.. For the price though you cant go wrong.. No dangling threads , more inside pockets would be nice but all in all very good coat.. ( 5 stars would be more pockets inside and i liked the larger zippers.)

I ordered online so I didn't get a chance to try it on. Seems like I will be warm and dry. The biggest complaint is the inside fleece jacket has nothing to adjust the wrists - no vecro, no elastic, no nothing. Why would anyone want a jacket that you can't manage that? Bummer.

My jacket arrived on time and was packaged well. The fit was just right based on the sizing information that was provided and that I followed. The jacket is lightweight with the liner, perhaps a little heavier than anticipated, but with the liner I was warm with temperatures in the upper 20's. Without the liner I would rate this an excellent 3 season jacket and plan to is this as my rain/primary jacket on a 12 day backpacking trip this summer. Without the liner the jacket packs small enough for my purposes. Based on the quality, I anticipate having this jacket for many years.

Nice Jacket. Fits well, nice features. I wish it had a insulated hood and a cell pocket but beside that is good.
