Great shoe for the older runner. Support is top notch.

I joined the United States Marines in August of 2003. My job was Infantry and you guessed it we run....a lot and then we run some more! Lol I have always been big, at the time I was 6' 3" and 230IBS with flat feet. Over the years it took a toll on my knees and back. A sports medicine doctor in 2006 recommended Brooks Beast that at that time I could only find at specialty running stores. His words to me and I quote "If you want to go to prom get Nike's, if you want support get Brooks." So I have it a shot...... After about two weeks knee pain subsided and lower back ache went away. I have never bought another shoe since. I absolutely love the Beast and the company. If your first timer I guarantee you, you won't be disappointed. There wasn't very many color selections then for the Beast but they're doing better and you have a little more options Regardless as long as Brooks is in business and making this shoe I will be buying it.

Great shoe for me. I am a big man that needs a tough shoe. This fits what I need perfectly. Stable and strong!

i liked every aspect of the what the beast 18 has to offer. It is by far the best choice i have ever made for myself and my family.

Great shoes. This is my second pair of Beast '18. Fan of the Beast for years. Awaiting the new version, somewhat patiently..

I dont run anymore but like the shoe becuz i can easily put an orthotic in the shoe...i have morton's neuroma and i have space to put a metatarsal pad on the bottom of the orthotic...A little extra room...heavy shoe that gives cushioning and suport...

My main concern after many many pairs of The Beast was premature wear of the outersole, but I got 500+ from my last pair, so this great shoe (for pronators) goes from a 4 to a 5.

Perfect shoe right out of the box. I've been wearing Adrealines since 2013, so I wanted to try something new. I need support cause of a rod in my foot. These sneakers are awesome!!!
