I absolutely love these boots. I wear them to work, kids sports games, out with friends, traveling, going for a walk, spending 10+ hours on my feet at a trade show, and more. They a my favorite shoes. I get compliments on them every time I wear them. I have had these boots for 2 years and they look new. A simple wipe off if they are dirty. Make the investment in these amazing boots. And I love that they give me a little extra height. That never hurts. FYI - I am 48.

I love these boots and would never return them for these two reasons mentioned but you should be aware of them. If you have slender ankles the laces cinch together all the way and it looks a little funny to me. I’m thinking of a seriously thick sock or a little boot topper inside to take up some of the extra room. Also the stitching on the top edge of the boot has a very rough edge that scraped my leg red after just a few hours of wearing. This will also benefit from a taller sock in between the bare leg and the boot. As a side note, I was just able to file down the pokey threads with an emery board of all things. I am hoping this improves the comfort. I have narrow feet and they fit me well with a thick sock. They might be too narrow for a wider foot. They are plenty warm with a wool sock and I have women stopping me on the street to say how much they like them. I’m very happy with my purchase.

From the moment I slipped these boots on they were super comfortable and I can wear them all day without my feet hurting. They work great in the snow or slick surfaces; if you live in an area where it snows. I loved them so much I bought 2 pair black and camel brown.

Got the Joan of Arctic Wedge II in Ash and I couldn't be more excited. The fit & comfort is what I expect from Sorel & these do NOT disappoint. Amazing all the way around. Will be getting more colors soon.

I've been eyeing these boots for a year and finally decided to spend the money to get them. When they arrived, I was less than pleased at what I received. The quality seemed poor and the sole was misglued to the bottom of the shoe. Overall, they just didn't seem that nice, especially for a $200 pair of shoes. Thankfully, Zappos is awesome, and they sent me a new pair right away. I'm so glad I didn't settle or just return the first pair because the second pair was SO MUCH BETTER. There was a HUGE difference between the first and second pair I received (see photos - first pair on left, second pair on right). They look like different shoes even though they have the same sku, color, size, etc. The second pair are darker, feel different, are better constructed, and even more comfortable. Just be aware that if you order, these shoes are worth it - as long as you get a quality pair. Sorel needs to work on their quality control a bit!

You hate to see such a good shoe go bad, but here we are. I don’t even have to put them on to know they won’t hold up as long as the pair I bought in 2016. The toe seam, leather above the sole, rivets and sewed on lace eyelets are missing. Also, soles look glued on and cheap. The whole shoe is chintzy now and not worth $240. Back to Zappos they go.

These are my dream boots! I was so happy to finally get these for a big trip we have coming up. I've worn them for the better part of 2 months. I love the fit, finish and style. But I am SO DISAPPOINTED in the shoe laces of all things! I would think for the price of these boots that the laces would last more than 2 months! They are SHREDDED! I can't locate replacement laces that match. Its really frustrating to finally get your dream boots just to have them fall apart in a short amount of time. If you don't care about stock laces then this is totally worth the investment!

I’m 57 with a size 7 foot. I have a high arch and instep and Most boots with a 3” heel crush the top of my foot but these didn’t! . I LOVE these boots I need extra cushion in the soles and these cushion wonderfully. I walked in them for hours yesterday and they did not hurt my feet. They are cute to wear. (Sorry for the PJ photo but I was excited to try them on)

This is my first Sorrel, purchased Ash Brown, size 7. I LOVE IT! I've been on my feet all day and I totally forgot I am wearing heeled boots-- they were so comfortable, edgy,& versatile boots -- so far, they passed the hustle and bustle of NYC. I can't wait to wear them in snow days for their traction and waterproof features. I have high arches- the arch support is not enough, so I might put an arch support insole. It has no lining for added warmth, so thick socks a must for your feet in cold weather. I highly recommend and will put Sorel shoes in my shoe list!

I have flat feet and have had 3 ankle surgeries. This is the first pair of heeled shoes I’m able to wear in years! I wanted a cute winter boot that’s a little more edgy and dressy than my normal flat boots. As someone who hates heels, I was able to shop at a few stores without difficulty at all! Got compliments the very first day I wore them! The ash brown color is a nice neutral that goes with everything! I’m a true size 8 in all brands, sometimes an 8.5 in sorel, these I got in the 8 and it fits perfect even with a thick wool sock.

Beautiful boot but not comfortable like my Sorel Lexie. Left toe box hurt and my second toe was red when I removed them.

Love love love these boots! Fit is perfect! Boot feels already broke in. Very comfy for wedge boot.

I love these boots and get so many compliments on them. Very comfortable and stylish. I wear with jeans rolled up or leggings with socks. Highly recommend!

I purchased this shoe for a trip to wear out to dinner. I ended up wearing them during the day to walk and explore. They were very comfortable.

The fit is great, what I don’t love about these is that the leather bunches up between the top and middle loops and looks sloppy, can’t seem to get them to tie tight enough with skinny ankles...I love the comfort of this wedge though..I wore them a couple of times before I realized this so can’t return which is a bummer!!

I love these boots! These are the 4th pair of Sorel boots and I love them all! The Joan of Arctic Wedge is very comfortable. I have walked many miles in them and I get compliments every time I wear them. If they get wet or muddy just wipe them with a damp cloth and they look great!

I fell in love with the Sorel brand after I bought by first pair of Joan of Arctic boots almost three years ago. I have since purchased two more pair. Not because my first has worn out, but because I wanted more colors. I have plantar fasciitis but can wear these all day at work or at an event with great comfort. They are true to size and have great traction in winter snow. Well worth the investment!!

I do not typically take the time to write reviews but these boots are exactly what I was looking for!! wanted something for winter that is fashionable but functional. Love my Hunter boots and my snow boots, but they aren't the best for everyday cold weather wear. These are it!! Super comfortable, stylish and functional. I am a true size 8. Ordered these in an 8 and was glad I could still wear thick socks and not feel crammed. Love!!

I wear a 9.5 in this brand in other styles, but in this a 9. I run from 9 - 9.5 in general. Normal width. For a good sized wedge, SUPER COMFORTABLE!

I bought these boots in ash brown a couple of years ago and loved them so much that I had to have them in black. They're exactly as described - very comfortable, perfect styling and great in the rain and snow. Definitely my go-to boots until Spring.

I love these boots! I almost always wear a 9.5 and the 9.5 fit perfectly. I ended up purchasing the quarry and the black but the leather for the quarry feels more durable and thicker than the black. I'll have to weatherproof my black ones but the quarry are good to go. I’ve worn them both several times and there’s has been no new shoe pain with either. They’re actually rather comfy. Love the heel height as well. I am already tall but I don’t feel overly so with these. I think it’s perfect. I gave them 4 stars because there are some consistency issues Sorel needs to work on but overall great boots!

Hi, I have worn these shoes 2 days in a row, all day and they are exactly what I was looking for. I feel good at work and love not traveling with two pairs of shoes in the winter.

I love these boots. The leather is soft, the style is very versatile, and they are sooo comfortable! The wedge is reasonable, but you barely notice it’s a wedge with how comfortable they are. I have multiple pairs of these boots and have for years. I wear between a 7.5 and 8, and in these boots the 7.5 is perfect, even with a little room with normal socks (a little tighter with boot socks but still good). Highly recommend!

Fit TTS. Adorable and so easy to walk in which was a welcome surprise!

They fit true to size. Very comfortable with cushioning.
