Customer Reviews SOREL Joan of Arctic™ Wedge II

I own these Joan of Arctic Wedge II boots in every color except Camel (because I decided to get the shearling version instead in that color). This Dove color has become my new favorite to replace Quarry! And who am I kidding, it's PERFECT in every color! My feet literally never grow tired in them. We decided to shop the outlets this past weekend and I wore these and not only did I get compliment after compliment in every single store we were in, from girls and guys even, but I would forget I was wearing any sort of heel because they're that comfortable. They run perfectly to size for my sized 7 feet and I love them so much that I'll probably continue to buy them in whatever color they come out with. They're simply gorgeous! The Dove ones are a suede so they're different from the others. Don't be scared of how light in color they are either, because we had pretty bad weather and they repelled all the water being thrown their way. They're a perfectly designed shoe in my opinion!

The boots are sturdy and seem like they will hold for a long time making my roi worth while. However the boot is a bit too rigid on the sole being that is one single piece of hard rubber. I bought these as my motorcycle riding boots and they're good for the job. I had been looking for their old style (see pict) which are much more appealing than these. Sadly steel toe boots have more style than these. Hopefully they'll reconsider and bring back that old style or improve on this one. Aside from that the fit is true to size and are waterproof to the extent that the water enters from the lace up area.

I love these boots! But when I walked in them my heel lifted every time and pulled my sock down and rubbed my heel. I couldn't get a larger or smaller size that would fix it. So disappointed! I really loved the quality and the look.

These are the cutest boots, I wear them with everything, and they are very comfortable. Buy them!! I sized up a half size to wear with thicker sock.

These are my second pair of wedge boots. And my favorite yet.

I just got my first pair of Sorels and I love them!! They are definitely more comfortable with thick socks but I can walk for days and not have sore feet. I bought some colored laces to spice them up a bit and they look great!

I purchased these on the behalf of it's style, however when I put they on, I was amazed by how comfortable they are, on top of all that I get many complaints.

I have other Sorel boots and I am happy with them and wanted my daughter in law to have a pair. I gave them to her for Christmas and she loves them.

I have been eyeing the Joan of Arc boot line for a long time and decided to go for it during the beginning of their 40% wedge sale. I have never worn such a comfortable boot in my entire life. I honestly don't know how they did it. I ordered size 8 and they for perfectly, even with thicker socks (for reference, I am typically a 7.8-8 but usually buy size 8). I do have narrow feet, something to keep in mind. I think if you have wider feet these may take a little stretching and working to get comfy. Their overall comfort though is astounding. I've worn them to campus, then to the grocery store and around town. Extremely comfortable. This style is especially easy to get on and off too, the laces and tongue loosen when untied so it's really easy to get thicker socks in them. They are 100% leather and waterproof, I've worn them in snow and rain and they are great. I am so happy I bought these, I wear them exclusively now and they put all my other boots to shame. This is my first pair of Sorels but they will not be my last. I completely understand now why so many reviewers here are committed to Sorel. Quality that lasts and looks good.

Got these for my wife over the holidays . She loved them . I'm getting the dark brown ones soon .... fellas get your lady right with these right here
