I have a wide foot, high arches, and am a supinator subsequent to joint problems in my foot/big toe and multiple surgeries. Hoka Ones were recommended to me by a neighbor who's a distance runner. They're a very good fit and feel good on the feet. Light, comfortable, good support. It was a very difficult choice, but ultimately I went with the Brooks Ghost which seem to be just a little better at preventing the supination. Without that alternative, I definitely would choose the Hoka One Cliftons. Think you can't go wrong with either.

These shoes are so comfortable and fit me . I had an ankle replacement and have now started quite a bit of walking again. They really cushion my feet. I highly recommend them.

It fits perfect. I am size 5 with wide feet. Bought size 5D. Comfortable from day one. Light weight and stylish.

I love my Hokas and have spent a lot of of time in them. Just spent 81 road miles in them with no issues. This last race I was looking for a different color and these where even better in person.

Truly amazing. I have knee issues and these have been a life saver. Within wearing them 2-3 times I noticed my legs were much less tired at the end of the day.

This are so comfortable , I'm 66 years old and still enjoy running these shoes make it possible, I've had a broken foot and foot surgery these are the best shoes I've found for comfort to run in

This is my third pair of Hoka One One Clifton's, and each pair has been perfect for my feet. I just love this brand and this style. I have small feet, (size 5.5), a slightly wider toe-bed and a decent arch in my feet. I'm very active. I jog, walk, lift, and do cross fit. and have always felt that my shoes broke down in support shortly after buying them, even if they were expensive and a name brand. Plus, the fit was never right. It was extremely frustrating to spend so much money on shoes that couldn't keep up with what I wanted to do. Then I heard about Hoka One One's, and for me, it was a game changer. Such a great quality shoe, and the arch support is the best of any shoe I have tried, and believe me, I have tried almost all of them. And **bonus** great color selection too! I hope they never stop making this shoe or this shoe style.

I was heading out of town for a week of hiking, but was struggling with plantar fasciitis. I bought these last-minute and ended up wearing them for all of my major walking and easy to moderate hikes on vacation. They are super-cushioned and provide a lot of support. The plantar fasciitis isn’t gone, but I feel like these shoes kept it at bay enough that I could enjoy My vacation. Looking forward to running with them. They were true to size. I usually go up a half size in my Sauconys, but didn’t for these.

I was recently diagnosed with Hallux Rigidus, bone spurs and arthritis in one big toe. Most of the shoes in my closet are too painful to wear now and I needed something to walk in for my daily exercise. I've tried many different sneakers and have had to send them back...thank you Zappos. These are rocker shoes, and did take some getting used to, but are now the ONLY shoes that I can wear all day long with comfort! I do have my own orthotics in them which is a real plus for people with foot problems. Just ordered a second pair and considering more in different colors.

Amazing fit and feel!

These shoes are my running saving grace - cushioned, but still springy. Lightweight, but sturdy. I had a stress fracture in my femur and am just getting back thanks to PT, crutches, and the comfort these bring. New go-to shoe!

These are my perfect athletic shoe! I already had a pair that I loved. Since they will most likely get modified by the company for the upcoming season, I bought 3 pairs. I bought a 7D and they are definitely true to width and the depth of the shoe is also great! I love the roomy toe box, and I love the fact my heel doesn't slip out of them!

I bought these for a walking trip. I think they will do nicely. Good support.

Comfortable from day 1.Wore them all day no problems.They aren’t as “cute” as some of the others but I’ll take comfort over looks any day. I have severe problems with arthritis in my feet and back and these felt great!

If you have shin splints or are prone to them, these are AMAZING! I run 3-5 days a week and my feet feel great

Perfect fit. Wide seems to keep any pressure off pinky toes. Wear these at work as on feet all day. Feet and legs do not hurt at end of day where Nike’s I was wearing did.

I have a friend who had purchased this shoe and generally wears the same size that I do. I tried her shoe on prior to ordering, so knew that it would fit well.

These shoes are wonderful

I have been looking for a good walking shoe for quite some time. Need cushion, but not too much, need stability, but not too much, need a good arch support, but not too much. I think I have finally found it with these Clifton 5! Excited to wear them in the house first to see if they are as comfy as they seem to be initially. However, my feet are a true size 7.5. With that being said, most shoes nowadays run small so I end up getting a size 8. I tried size 7.5 regular, a bit too narrow, so I tried 7.5 wide,,,a bit too long. I don't like a lot of extra room at the toe, as I seem to trip if the shoe is too long. So, I ordered a size 7 wide. I am thinking this will work. The left foot is perfect, the right foot is a little close to the front, but I'm hoping my foot won't slide forward. Anyway, I recommend at least trying this shoe. I am hoping I will love it!

So glad I've found these shoes!! I'm a nurse and need comfortable shoes. I've recently developed plantar fascitis and this style seems to ease that quite a bit. I have tried the bondi style hoka and they weren't as comfortable. These are a true wide shoe and don't need breaking in. I wear 10.5w, I get my work shoes 1/2 size bigger due to tired/achy/swelling feet. I have plenty of room in these!

I love Hokas. I have been running in the Hoka Cavu for the last 6 months and was looking for a little more cushion. These were a little smaller in the toe box than the Cavu. I originally ordered an 8, but had to exchange for an 8.5. These feel so good on my heel and I instantly started running faster with these. I run 3x per week and compete in 5ks, 10k, and half marathons. They are not too soft and very responsive. If you like to run without heel, knee or hip pain, I definitely recommend the Clifton 5.

I had ordered an Adidas shoe directly from Adidas because someone told me how comfortable they were. Those shoes really made the plantar fasciitis in my left foot act up after exercising. So, I ordered some shoes from Zappos to compare and the Hoka pair is the best. I ordered a wide for a change and my regular shoe size (6.5) and there was no reason to go up in size. I have not had any problems since wearing this shoe and would recommend them to anyone. Very light and with good support.
