I will start this off by echoing everyone else, after the Kayano 21 Asics changed the toe box and the mesh and it resulted in an uncomfortable tight disaster that didn't loosen up with time, I had to wear New Balance 1080v8s in the meantime which overcorrected my foot to the point of underpronation. Thankfully they changed the toe box back and while it's not the same as the 21 it's an improvement on the last 3 generations. I got the wide and normal width in this shoe and dissapointingly, it's maybe no more than a centimeter wider than the standard shoe. It feels like they decided to save some money by exchanging out the gel along the side of the shoe to only on the heel and swapped out the quality of the foam in the shoe, while these changes are dissapointing it's not a bad enough change for me to return them or not wear them. I do question how well they will hold up since I walk 5+ miles a day with my dogs. They have made several improvements with the heel molding, a sock style liner and improved the quality of the laces. There are these strange bands running along either side of the mesh underneath the top layer of mesh by my big and little toe, they didn't seem to bug me after testing them out on a long walk, I think they exsist to prevent the new mesh from stretching out too much but I could see them bugging somebody with a wide foot. I have a very wide foot but they didn't bug me.

There really isn't anything I do like about these shoes. Gave two stars simply for the color. I have been running for two years and thought it would be time to upgrade from my hand me down Nike's. Thought I would celebrate my running with nice running shoes. Very disappointed is an understatement. Shoes make my feet fall asleep, they are bulky and extremely uncomfortable. Thought maybe they just needed to be broke in but it's been two weeks now. I was extremely excited to get these shoes but seriously one of my biggest wastes of money.

I've had many 8-9 pairs of Gel Kayano. The 2 most recent have not been good. The insole is narrower, causing a blister on my medial foot. They do not address over probation like the previous ones. I now have posterior shin splints. I am a physical therapist and on my feet all day. The pain is not good for me. The shoe design change was not good. I feel best in an old pair of Gel Kayano, but can't run in them because they are too beat down. Now to heal and find a new style of shoe.

Perfect when I first put them on...like walking on a cloud. After 3 wears, my feet were in agony. I would recommend to someone with a high arch; with feet that lean inward when walking; otherwise won't be good for your feet. Disappointed in this product for myself.

I have always worn Gel Kayano for running. Due to foot issue and the newer narrow toe box I order a wide. The width was good but so stiff. The insole felt very hard. Thought they would break I but now my feet hurt. Disappointed

I gave them two stars because I love the way they look, but they are all wrong for my feet which are a medium width by all other standards of shoes that I've worn. These shoes make my feet feel like they are burning. I assume it's because they are too narrow. Back they went.

Very tight in the toe box! I really wanted to love these shoes but it just hurt my feet. I did end up returning which asics was great about.

Disappointed the color is more orange-red & not pink. I need to return these as not my color.

I felt like the foot bed in this shoe had zero cushion or support. The shock absorption may be more in the heel/sole area, but they were very uncomfortable while walking around and trying a short run.

The inside bottom of the shoe was so uncomfortable that my sole hurt. The size was perfect and the width, but I could not stand the pain on the bottom of my sole. It should have been softer.

way too tight and narrow, Kayano used to be my favorite running shoe very disappointed that they changed the fit. Very inconsistent. Please go back to the wider toe bed - I do not know any runner who would want a narrow fit anyway???

I am still looking for the Kayanos of years past. After reading the reviews I thought that the 25's would work. They don't. The toe box is not as narrow as the previous versions but these are not the same. These are going back.

I was hoping for good things with these shoes. Unfortunately, they did not work for me. I have a wide foot and a bunion. The toe box narrows out too much making the shoe too tight around the widest part of my foot causing shooting pain to go from my bunion to the end of my big toe. I had to return them :(

I am so disappointed with the Kayano 25. I have more them for years and this model is a disaster! There is no arch support in this model which I have never had a problem before. Love the color but they are not comfortable for running at all.

Not how I remembered the Kayanos. These are not as cushiony and I wanted these to be my running shoes but after exchanging for 1/2 size larger there was still something wrong up by my big toe area, like a piece of fabric or something that was super uncomfortable. Very disappointed!

I love the color and the look of these shoes but I had to stop wearing them after 3 days. Asics have always been my favorite shoes for walking and running and I have always had good luck because they have a wide toe box. These did not work for me. I have a bunion on my right foot and the shoes caused my big toe to go numb and gave me cramps in my other toes. Unfortunately, I did not get the email about the 30 day trial for running shoes until after I had already thrown the packaging away. I plan to donate them to charity! If you have a normal foot, they would probably be fine for you.

I have had three pairs of Kayano 25 now. I have pretty severe overpornate feet. So far I only found the Kayano 25 will not hurt my feet after a long run (10 mile). I got my first pair of Kayano 25 at a local running store. It is designed with larger shoebox than previous model now which I am really happy about. I was really satisfied with that first pair so when that wore out I got my second pair and third pair online when they were on sale. However, I felt both the second and third pairs have a much harder cushion then the first pair. First I thought that they are just new and will be better later after I break it in. No, it didn't. Both of them hurt my feet on the ball of the foot after not long of distance like 5 mile. I am really disappointed by that. Hope the new Kayano 26 has improved but I am not going to try that until more reviews come in.

I’ve been a fan of ASICS for years, but really disappointed by the fit of these shoes. Got very accustomed to the GT 1000 series - never even had to try them on as they were a perfect fit. These are tight across the top of the foot, even with a thin pair of socks. It seems like it would cut off circulation to your toes, and I don’t have a wide foot. Will return these, unfortunately.

I have several Kayano's that I love but for some reason, the black ones do not fit me comfortably. I tried the 11's but they were too big. These have been worn once.

Disappointed they weren't as cushion-y or supportive as the 23s. They'll be going back. I'll have to try the new ones to see if they're better.

I have been wearing these shoes for years. This pair has got to be the worst pair I ever purchased. If I hadn't worn them, I would definitely send back. The material in too feels cheap. They just plain hurt my feet.

I love ASICS shoes. I have worn them almost exclusively over the years. I recently have been wearing Dynaflytes but have work Gel-Kayanos in the past and have loved them. This pair is bothering the 3 little toes on my right foot. I have tried lacing them a different way to give my toes more room but I am still having problems where they either go numb or give off sharp pain.
