These are wide, but still I find my feet swelling and was in pain by the end of day 1. It may be my feet and not the sneaker. I will give them another try.

It's not as comfortable as the Asics of like 5 years ago. They feel flat kind of like Converse with a sole. I'm very disappointed

I LOVED the color!!!! Unfortunately, the toe box was too tight. Tried it without my insole, was too big, slipped off the heal a bit and toe box still too narrow. Will have to send them back :(

I am training to run a half marathon and my old Asics are worn out. I desperately wanted to love these shoes but they just weren't for me. They are heavy shoes and wide so it really depends on what you want to wear them for. I suppose they are good for uneven terrain but not what I was looking for. After two runs on the treadmill, the balls of my feet were hurting. I ended up purchasing Asics Gel DS - 24 Trainer and they are much better (and way lighter)!

I love the ASICS Gel Kayano and have been using them for years however this version doesn't seem as cushioned as previous years and more stiff. The toe box seems smaller so I'm going to try and loosen the laces a bit otherwise I may need to go up a size. Really wanted this shoe to work but it's just not the same.

The sneaker runs true to size. There was moderate cushioning, but not as much as I was expecting. The shoe did provide good support. I didn't like the orange undertones under the gray solid sneakers.

If you are an old ASICS lover then this may not be the best shoe for you. I love ASICS but I really miss the old cushion. They were the softest most comfortable shoes. The 25 feels a bit stiffer and lacks that's walking on clouds feeling. For some this may be the perfect running shoe but not for me. People have been talking about the change in cushion for years. Please bring back the old style cushion. Even if the shoe is a tad heavier...it is worth it.

First pair of ASICS I tried. Dunno what the hype is but I couldn’t get over the design. Back it goes.

This shoe felt very comfortable and had a lot of cushioning right out of the box, however, after wearing it to exercise in, my right foot felt numb. Sadly, I will be returning them, because I like to be able to feel my feet when exercising.

The good news is I was able to find a sneaker on Zappos in 11.5 N. The bad news is that it was likely the last 11.5 N Asics ever on Zappos, because Asics has decided to no longer make narrow sneakers. A very sad day. I've had many Asics, chiefly the Gel Nimbus. This Kayano is a new model for me and feels a bit longer than the Nimbus and a bit wider. It was only available in the monochrome gray -- not pretty. With no contrasting color anywhere on the shoe, it looks rather Herman Munster-like.
I'd also recommend:
New Balance -- one of the very few makers left of narrow sneakers

First time wearing my knees really hurt. Considering my feet have grown and I was stepping awkwardly wearing my old Gel-Kayanos, I thought I should wear the new size for several days before considering what to do. (thank you 30 day trial) I won't say these are as wonderful as my old Kayanos were due to my progressing arthritis and new bunion issue, but after a few days my feet knees hips and therefore gait are feeling better. Keeping because I need to have shoes.

After reading several reviews on shoes for folks with osteoarthritis and foot swelling, I decided to give the highly rated Gell Kayano 25 a try. Great color combos. the cushioning on these is substantial and incredibly comfortable. Unfortunately, the medium width is really narrow. Asics are known for their narrower fit. These put pressure across the ball of my foot before I ever put my foot on the ground. they were just too narrow to fit me properly. If you have a narrower foot, these might be a good bet for you. The length was good - I normally take a 10.5 in running shoes and these were consistent there. There wasn't any heel slippage. Really tight across the toe box. Sadly, I had to send these back. I gave 5 stars for comfort because if they fit across the toe box, then they will be like walking on clouds.

I've been buying Asocs size 8 for years and years. Recently I bought another pair of Asics size 8. When I ordered this pair in size 8 I was surprised that they were about 1 size to big.

I have worn Gel Kayanos for almost 10 years. Loved them - until the 23s came out. The 23s were a disaster and I returned them immediately. I read the poor reviews for the 24s, and skipped them all together. I decided to give the 25s a chance since reviews were better. I have to say, I am not impressed. These are not the Kayanos of old. I feel like I am wearing moon boots - they are a tad bit wider than normal. I also feel like the support just isn't there any more. I do think they have more support then the Sauconys I bought during my protest but they are just not up to Asics standards. They are also not as comfortable as the old versions. I gave them 3 stars across the board because they are okay, and if you never wore the old models you would probably think they were decent. But I am falling out of love.

Wow... if you have bunions, these are not for you! I have 3 pairs of Asics Gel and I can always wear them right out of the box with no break in period. These, however are SO tight in the toe box, I did not even want to stand up in them. If you have narrow feet you will probably love them. Unfortunately, they did not have my size in black available.

Too narrow! Feel like my toes are being squeezed - and no, it's not the length that's the problem. I typically wear a size 9 shoe - ordered this shoe a half size larger like I always do with ASICS. The 9.5 medium width was fine in length - shoe is just too narrow - not enough room in the toe box.

I wear a 9 and these were too short. I would go up a half size if you order. I have high arches and these did not have the support I need. Returned.

I really wanted to love these, and I do like how they look, but for some reason they come up too high on my left foot and hit my ankle bone which is not comfortable. I have to return them. I've worn the Asics Gel Nimbus for years, but the recent models have changed so I'm searching for a replacement. Unfortunately, these weren't it for me.

Shoes feel clunky....I have never purchased a narrow, but with these I wish I had. I bought them because of good reviews for flat feet which I have, but I dont feel alot of support with these.

I loved the previous model Kayano, but this felt totally different. Was much harder and less flexible, much less cushion. Felt lots of pain in shin and knee after wearing these. I'm disappointed to have to return, they are beautiful shoes.

I ordered the same size as my current Kayano 25s but found that the new shoe was very tight across the top of my foot--so tight, in fact, that as I was trying to get a feel for whether these would work, my feet started feeling numb. The footbed also felt stiffer than usual. I loved the coloring of the shoe, I really wanted them to work, but they were just too small and stiff.

I tried hard to make this shoe work, because it was wide enough in the toe box to make me happy. But the insole was too squishy and the shoe just did not offer enough support and structure. I tried various alternate insoles too and ran in them for a week, but I just couldn’t get them right. I am taking advantage of the runlimited guarantee and am very grateful for it.
