After reading reviews, I am glad that I decided to order a half a size down from my previous Asics Gel 23. The prior shoe ran a bit small. The new shoes shoes provide a great deal of stability, although I wish there was softer padding under the ball of the foot and a bit more arch support, which the Gel 23 had.

I sometimes wear narrow shoes so I ordered both a narrow and a medium width. I usually wear a size 9 but ordered 9-1/2 to be sure I had enough toe room. I ended up keeping the narrow. Even though the medium were more comfortable, I thought it would be important that my foot not move around in the shoe when I run and exercise. It took a few days to break them in, but for now, I’m happy with them. Just wish the narrow came in white — it only came in the dark grey....

I am a registered nurse on my feet over 8 hours each day. My feet over pronate. I have custom orthotics that I wear in sneakers. I feel great in these. The toe box is wider than what I need. However the arch support and sides of sneaker are very solid. Love the color with my Athlete tights 3 times a week in muscle works classes. I DO NOT RUN. I have found better, wider base of support in running shoes verses walking shoes on tile floors.

The style makes your feet look big.

These shoes hurt my foot across the arch of my foot and my heel after only a few hours of wearing them. I love asics and they are the only shoe I buy, but these just don't measure up to there name. :(

I was looking for a narrow heel and wider toe box- ordered my usual narrow size and was pleased with the room in the toe box.

I would have loved these shoes but yet again ASICS has to put embellishment right across where my bunion is on the outside of my foot! UGH! My current ASICS I have cut all that off but I refuse to pay $150 for a pair of shoes I'll have to cut up!

This is an update of a review I already submitted on these shoes. I had originally loved them -- I still love the fit and performance based on trying them on around the house. But I just cannot get past the color. I got the grey ones with a little orange in the heels. They are really really grey -- just flat, drab, grey. Much more blah than the photos show. They look like I'm using them for mall-walking. The only other colors in this model are really unpleasant neons. So I am just returning these and looking at a different style where the color choices are better.

I always buy a medium width for shoes and the last two pairs of Asics I have ordered have been too small in the toe box. This pair is one of those that is too small. Sadly, a wide width is back ordered. Buyer beware.

Good toe room. These shoes are a big improvement on Gel-Kayano 23 and 24. Just wish Asics would consider offering wide fittings in a choice of color. Tried to talk myself in to keeping these shoes because of their comfortability but returning only as the color just does not work for me.

Too tight in the toe box and the wide is too wide. Back to the kayano 24’s
