On my monitor the nightshade color looked like black with hints of purple but it is really purple!! In bright light it’s like a grape. If you love purple, that’s awesome, but I can’t rock it.

This shoe fits nicely and gives pretty good support for my feet. Since I have 2 different foot sizes, I have to purchase a 10 for the L foot and a 9.l5 for the R foot. I am glad that these were back in stock , so I could purchase 2 more pairs to rotate the wearing of the shoes.

The cushion feels great but there is absolutely no arch support leaving my feet to roll slightly inwards

Very comfortable however a bit tight in the toe bed so after I wear the shoes for a long time I feel cramping in the toe area I have had the shoes for 2 weeks and noticed the inner lining is already showing wear

Comfortable, supportive, sturdy - what more could you ask for? The newly configured toe box is so roomy I had to go a 1/2 size down, and they're still kind of big. Other than that, they're a great shoe.

I normally don't wear Asics but like them. I normally wear a 9 1/2 but because a friend told to order a 1/2 bigger, I did. They fit good but are a little more narrower then other shoes I've worn. But I like the ankle support. I will say that they do not have arch support. So if that's what you are looking for, keep looking. Also what I absolutely love is that they are so easy to keep clean.

Love them! I'm a long time Asics user and it's the only shoe for me. I have started to have my Morton Neuroma flare up since wearing my new pair. Let's hope it goes away. I agree about the colors, pretty boring.

I didn't end up keeping these due to color / attractiveness (ordered the turquoise, which is an intense shade), but they fit me well and were comfortable. I gave them 4 * because I didn't care for the way the shoelace eyelets are made. They felt like they might pull (apart) on me. As for fit, I always seem to go up 1/2 size in running shoes, and these were no exception. I usually have trouble with them being too wide, but these were a good fit for me in medium width. If you have regular or wide feet, you need to factor that into your fit. Otherwise, they were really comfortable. Might consider ordering a different color at some point...

I bought this same shoe last year and loved it so bought it again but the new pair were too narrow in the toe box. I had worn them and didn't want to return them so I purchased another pair in a wide width and they still rubbed in the width. I returned the second pair. Not sure what is going on because my pair from last year still fit great.

I wore this to the gym for my regular exercise session and it worked well. The support is good, however, its a bit tight in the front (lace area) but not uncomfortable. I have narrow feet and it was a bit snugger than my other styles. Other than that I love these.

I am a Asics kayano fan. I owned all asics kayano from 9 to 25. I purchased 2 pairs 24 and 25 in the last 2 years. The soles of the kayano is not reliable as before (kayano 20 and pervious version) I used to keep a pair of kayano for 1 year in every business day using basis. Now today, Kayano shoes only last for half year for 24 and 25.

Good support. Narrow fit. Good padding. Too high on the back, uncomfortable in ankle.

I have worn Kayono’s off and on for years. This model is an “off” year. I have a long, narrow foot and this shoe has too much volume for my feet. I tried an 11.5 first and then an 11 but I still was dealing with too much room. I was disappointed because I loved the cushioning. The colors were blah and not very fun.

Happy Gel Keyano has returned to a fuller size. I've been wearing the Keyanos every year starting with the 14's. Everything is great but I agree with one viewer that the side panels have lost the strong support these once had. Still, very happy with them as they have a nice cushion feel to them. Great for walking.

I bought three pairs of Asics running shoes to compare and headed to the indoor track. The Gel Kayano were the most expensive so I expected them to be the most comfortable and have the most support/cushioning. That was not the case. They were fine in the size and width, but they were also cut fairly high under the ankle which made them painful to my bone. They didn't seem any better than the less expensive GT2000 6 so I exchanged them for another pair of the GTs.

These are very nice shoes with great overall cushioning and support, and I can understand why people love them so much. However, they were too narrow for me and they made my feet feel numb after running for a short time. I tried them twice during my runs and it happened both times. I've never had to order wide running shoes before, even though my feet are a tiny bit wide (just ever so slightly). I have to return them or sell them because I can't run when my feet feel numb. I also wish Asics made better color combinations for this version.

I know I some people have not liked the last to models of these shoes because they felt they were too narrow; however, I definitely preferred the 23's and 24's over the new 25's. I need a very supportive shoe due to some foot issues and the previous two versions of this shoe have been perfect for me. While it's nice to have a little more wiggle room in the toe box on the 25's, I think that the shoe is too soft and squishy overall. There is more give in the upper shoe material allowing my foot to move more laterally and it's seems like the sole is softer as well. These shoes are still reasonably comfortable, but the softer design does not give me the support I need for a typical day of walking around the city. If you like a softer shoe and one that is a little wider then you'll love these. For comparison, I think they feel more like the Nike Free Run shoes, which my family loves but aren't supportive enough for me. Also, if you need to know, custom orthotics still work well in these shoes.

I've owned many Asics over the last 17 years. These are not my favorites but serviceable. They seem a little roomier than others of the same size that I've worn.

This is a nice shoe - sized 'right' (finally) by ASICS - I was about to give up. Love the color, great support, a little spongy and softer than I like and there is something about the way I walk in it when my leg hits the ground it that bothers my knee(s). I'm sure it's me, not the shoe, and my guess is that for runners this would be a great shoe, but since I do a lot of walking - my running days are over and I want to put off that knee replacement a little longer, I'm returning them. Also bought a pair of Gel Contend 5's and don't have the same problem with them. Thanks Zappos.

Not a person that pays much for shoes so have grown accustomed to shoes that don't fit well and cause discomfort. Finally realized you don't get something for nothing. Now I wear my shoes all day and my feet feel so much better.
