Comfortable right out of the box as always! I was hoping for a little more cushion but I was on my feet at work for 12 hrs the first day I wore them and my feet, legs and back felt great! A great shoe and happy with my purchase.

I like the overall style but I don't like the knit fabric...feels too delicate and not quite as supportive for the bunions. The W width was a good fit for bunions though. Brooks seem to run a tad big in length so I struggle with ordering my usual size or the athletic shoe 1/2 size bigger that I usually order.

Super comfortable. I usually order a half size larger for running shoes and these run slightly big. Not big enough for me to return them, though. I'm training for a half marathon and really enjoying the wide toe area, narrow around the middle and tons of cushion for the heel. I used to only wear Asics for running but with the in change in how they've been fitting recently, I took a chance on these shoes. I'm officially a big Brooks fan!

Probably better running and walking shoes vs cross fit. Not much side to side support. Yet very comfortable.

I have owned several pairs of Ghost 9 and loved them. I wear them to commute in NYC. This new version Ghost 11 are definitely not as well made, very disappointed. These sneakers aren't as comfortable or as cushioned, even the laces are thinner. The overall shoe is made cheaper.

I have been wearing Brook Ghosts since Ghost 8. Never once had an issue. But as soon as I tried on the Ghost 11, the fit was off for me. It was a little shorter and tighter on the balls of my feet and my feet did not hit the footbed correctly (they always have before). The heel, on the other hand, was looser and would not stay snug. I have since tried the Ghost 12 and they are back to perfection for me - wonderful fit. I love Brooks Running, but I would like to tell them to get some better color Ghosts for females. The colors are either 1) too sweet pinks or 2) too drab. Get some color going for women Brooks!

Compared to my previous Brooks Ghosts, these are not as supportive in the arch or as cushioned in the heel. Loved the 2 sets of Ghosts I had prior to these. I purchased new ones due to increasing heel pain. I don't have the pain in other shoes with an arch support insert. Disappointed I have to spend this much and still buy an insert. I do appreciate the wider toe box with a tighter heel - that shape is hard to find.

I have the Ghost 9 and these are totally different! not as comfortable and shorter on my foot!

For starters I followed auto-select and got size 9.5 this was a mistake as shoe was huge ( bulbous in toe box with too much wiggle room). In sneakers ( including Brooks) I am always a size 9 ( in sandals often an 8.5- I have a narrow instep but regular forefront or toe box and a very high arch). Instead of returning and getting size 9, I switched to the Adrenaline in size 9 thanks to awesome help from Judy at Zappos! This Ghost did not appeal to me - disliked the aqua color mesh, and felt the design was “ light “ in the wrong places for my high arch that needs firmness and/ or a superfeet or other insole. Yes, I could have removed the insole( easily) but still disliked the look, the large toe box, the lightness. I walk trails as much as run, so runners may like this shoe. I realize I ordered the wrong style and wrong size for me and appreciate that Zappos remedied the problem. You’ve got to start somewhere buying workout shoes- I highly recommend Brooks in general, finding your match is the key.

I have horrible feet and literally I have tried on dozens of shoes/sneakers mostly need for everyday casual walking. I have flat feet, bunions and hammer toes and Morton's neuroma as well! Its been a challenge as only really soft shoes with wide toe boxes work. I have only found less than a handful of brands. My ankle has been unstable lately so I was attempting to get a more structured sneaker than I normally wear but it had to be "soft" as well. I thought this Brooks Ghost 11 in wide could work but when I tried them for more than an hour at a time they failed and hurt my bunion and the sides of my feet. They are not a bad looking running shoe at all that I would have used for long walks.

I have been a huge fan of Brooks - they worked really well for my high arches. I usually take an 8.5W or a 9M. These Brooks just did not quite work for me. My left foot was fine but my right foot hurt from the first day I went out walking with them, and I could feel a blister starting right below my big toe. I thought they just might need breaking in but it hasn't gotten better. I was really disappointed because the support felt good otherwise.

Tried these to replace my Ghost 9s that I loved and wore out. Not the same. No real structure to the upper. Footbed felt great with good arch support, but upper felt like a bedroom slipper and likely to stretch out quickly. Returning.

NOT the same as the Ghost 10 and so disappointed. The Ghost 10 had great support and great padding- I have two pairs and they are my go-to shoe for gym work, for walking---for absolute foot comfort. Got the black pair and may keep them but I really felt let down by Brooks with this pair. If you love the Ghost 10 for comfort, not sure you will be happy with this pair. Read and ignored other reviews about the padding but they are right. I think I might give this a 4 star EXCEPT I am so disappointed that Brooks chose the cheaper route with what was a 5 star shoe in the Ghost 10. Customer loyalty is actually worth keeping. I will go back to New Balance .

This would have been my 5th pair of Brooks Ghost .... but the sizing was off....so I returned them

I have a pair of ghost 11’s from last year that fit perfectly so I bought these expecting the same shoe. They are completely different, much narrower, longer and with a weird pointy toe. The toe box is shallow and the heel is low and tight. Just a bad shoe overall. Brooks used to make great shoes but in the past several years they have changed. Cost cutting???

Even if I just walk on a treadmill my toes go numb after 30 min in these shoes. I don’t know what causes this. Maybe it’s the 12mm drop? Not enough cushion under the toes? There is a LOT of room in the toes. I don’t know if that’s a good or bad thing. It feels weird. They also rub the back of my heels a little bit. But it seems like everyone else loves them. I guess they just aren’t for me.

I've run in the Ghost 8, 9, and now 10. Mostly long distance, up to marathons. I am returning the 11 and will switch to a different shoe. I have developed bruises on my toes from where my foot slides forward even on the shortest runs. The top of the shoe doesn't offer much in the way of stability or support for that matter. Very disappointed with the update, but I'm thankful I purchased on Zappos as with their excellent customer service I can return them.

I already owned the Ghost 10 and love them, so I order the Ghost 11. I was very disappointed. As soon as I put them on they felt slightly uncomfortable, and after an hour they were hurting. Learned my lesson. From now on when i find sneakers that I like I will order a second pair for the future,

I have been wearing the Ghost for years. I always order the same size— 8.5 wide. The Ghost 9 and 10 fit perfectly. I ordered the Ghost 11 in the exact same size, but they were about an inch longer when I held them up to my old Ghost 10’s. I tried a size down, but they’re too narrow. Sad that Brooks changed the sizing. Now I need to find a new running sneaker, which is difficult with my wide foot.

Previously disliked Ghost 10 because it was too heavy/bulky to run in. However, I recently injured myself and was advised that the Ghost 11 was best for my foot injury. So I bought these for the elliptical, spinning or just walking. Nope. Still don't like them. The forefoot support seems non-existent and the ankle area is way too large. Ironically, I would have preferred the bulkier Ghost 10 which had better cushioning for non-running activities. Lots of money down the drain. Will throw away or give away since can't return to Zappos, having worn/suffered with them outside already.

Shoe looked fabulous - but I was disappointed in the fit. I have multiple foot issues (bunion, collapsed metatarsal bones, swollen ankle (due to break - have plates and screws)). Shoe was too narrow to fit over my bunion and arch support was not sufficient. There was some cushioning, but not enough for my issues with my collapsed metatarsal bones. I do use Dr. Scholls massaging gel insoles when I have shoes that do not have enough cushioning. These sneakers could not accommodate the insoles. It is difficult for me to find shoes/sneakers to accommodate my needs. Unfortunately this sneaker was not the sneaker for me. I did return them.

I have supination, very high arches & medatarus adductus, esp in my left foot. So, it’s very hard anyway to find a comfortable shoe. I was trying to find a comfy, all black, sneaker and a few people said to try the Brooks Ghost 11’s. I’m normally an 8 but also got an 8.5 to try based on the reviews. The 8.5 was way too big and even the 8 was very roomy to me & felt off. I didn’t find these comfortable at all & very clunky looking. They look great in the pics though. I ended up returning both. Five stars to Zappos for offering free shipping & returns. Excellent customer service.

I loved my Ghost 10 and so figured the 11s would be similar. I was wrong. These shoes are truly painful to wear, I couldn’t get through more than 2 hours without the pain starting. Unfortunately I think it’s too late to return them as I waited awhile to start using them. Don’t buy them if you like the 10’s

These are absolutely unwearable. I had great success with the 10s but these are made of fabric that don't support the foot, have no arch support and gave me blisters on my heels and underside of my toes first time I wore them, which leads me to believe they are not sized the same as the 10s, as I was advised by a Zappos customer service representative. Unfortunately I now have a pair of shoes that I can't wear and can't return because they have been worn.

Unfortunately, I received a used pair. The insole at the toe break had been cut all the way across, there was pet hair and dust in the shoe under the insole and the outsole was clearly worn. The look sharp, they fit wide, true to length, but they are headed back. As usual, Zappos customer support was phenomenal.
