I have small bunions and this shoe was too narrow for me. Instead of re-ordering the wide, I am going to go back to the DYAD. It is wider and has much better side to side stability.

I really wanted to love these. The support is amazing, but unfortunately my forefoot runs about a C width and these only came in B width. Sometimes it works out, but not this time. Due to tightness in the toebox I had to return.

These are very cute in person -- I love the purple/gray/navy pattern and the silver edge around the bottom side of the sole. Even the bottom of the sole is cool looking. Also the tongue is sewed to the shoe on one side, so although it makes it a little hard to lace up, it keeps it from sliding down inside the shoe, which I've had happen with a lot of sneakers. It does feel a half size larger than it is marked. And it has no support. So if you want a cute shoe and don't need support, this would be good. I wish supportive sneakers looked this good. I have to return this as I can't wear it. I have plantar fasciitis and I overpronate, so I need a much more supportive shoe.

I have work Brooks of many styles over years of running long distances several days per week. This style is rubbing on my bone of my inner arch and I think it is due to the fact that they go higher up the ankle because of the sock-like opening. I'm hoping to break them in because I love the color and feel otherwise.

Very comfortable shoe to walk. I tried running and within ten steps felt like I could twist my ankle, very little support to hold the top of foot in place. Had to return .

Shredded both heels by mile 1. Had to send back. Had high hopes for them, as I liked the tongue and lacing. I have bunions on both feet and thought this particular upper would be a plus. Back they go! I’ll be sticking with the Brooks Adrenaline and doing my own shoelace trick to work around the bunions. Thanks for making returns so easy, Zappos!

Loved the look of this shoe, but after wearing around the house for a few hours my feet hurt. It seems there is less cushioning than a typical Brooks shoe.

I was excited to try these on because I loved the styling, the look and the construction, even the overall fit was pretty good EXCEPT ONE MAJOR FLAW: the arch felt as though something was sticking up from the shoe into my arch, rather than being a smooth transition from one side of the shoe base to the other. The arch is a “fail” on this shoe unfortunately. If they fix that, the shoe would be great!

I wanted to love them so badly but had to return them because they rubbed my Achilles raw. The heel comes up way too high. The shoes were perfect, otherwise. Great arch support , stability, and toe box.

Left shoe seems to be defective, have blister on top of foot from only left shoe.

The shoe fit snugly unlike the other pair I purchased. The material felt uncomfortable where it Was annoying to touch.

I love these. They fit great. Only issue is the instep side of the tongue is attached to the shoe so you can't center it once the shoe is on and laced up. It made the shoe look awkward and my foot look swollen. Unfortunately, had to return.

I ordered these because they were recommended for good arch support and over-pronation. I could not run in them without my feet going numb. I tried loosening them as much as possible and on day two tried them with an arch support. They were fine for walking around and look great, but not good for running. My whole body was sore after running in these. I’m going back to the glycerins. I appreciate that I am able to return these shoes.

I normally wear the Adrenaline but I wanted a darker colored shoe and I bought these. It was way to stiff and tight on my foot. I have a wide foot and the stiff inside panel was uncomfortable. I think this shoe would work for someone with a narrower foot. I’m returning and ordering the Adrenaline.

This shoe came used. Shoe looks and felt like it was worn before

I have been wearing Brooks for almost 10 years, and this is the first pair I am returning. The Bedlams were at least a half size smaller than my Ghost and Adrenaline size and the sole was very uncomfortable to run in. I was looking to try a different style, as I haven't loved the latest versions of the Ghost or Adrenaline either.

The sock-like upper dug into the back of my Achilles. I was in pain by the end of the day

I wanted to love these shoes. I bought them in 2 different colors. My very first run in them I had to take them off and walk back in my socks. I truly believe I received a defective pair. These have a sock like fit and have stitching all along the back of the shoe. It seems like there were 2 knots of thread right on the back of the heel that rubbed my foot and made me blister. Returned them both as I'm not risking another blister. Was very disappointed with these.

I normally wear ghost 10’s and LOVE them- extremely wide toe box/ this shoe looked like a wide toe box but wasn’t. I normally wear a size 7.5 in every shoe and they wear too small on me, I love brooks but they need to make more of the ghost 10 style.

I had to cut my run short. The elastic on the back of the shoe gave me a booster after 2 miles. I really liked the look of the shoes but just not comfortable at all.

I have mixed feeling trying on Brooks Bedlam. I love Brooks Ghost10-11 so I decided to give Bedlam a try. As I put on the shoes and walked in them it felt fitted and comfortable, I did a short 5K test run in them and immediately started to feel pain and got blisters by the inner side of ankle area. I looked into the construction on the inside of the shoes and found that there was a sponge-like thing that sticked out slightly above where my inner smaller ankle bone was. I think this was supposed to shape/mold around the inner foot but instead it was causing friction and giving me major blisters. Some runners suggested to do more short runs in them to break them in alittle, but I decided it wasn't even worth the effort considering neutral running shoes never even gave me these issues. Maybe running shoes with too much ankle support just isn't right for the shape of my feet. Sad to have to return these because they are so cute, with great energy return when running.

Size: I typically wear 8 to 8-1/2 in dress shoes and 9 in running shoes. These fit true to size like the original Brooks Levitate but unlike the Levitate 2 where I had to size down by 1/2. Fit: Ankle/ heel area too wide/loose. Really not liking the new Brooks sock-like ankle area on these new models. Can’t adequately cinch down. Also a little too much medial lift. I tried 8-1/2 and 9 but had to return both.
