The Brooks Bedlam was very comfortable. It had good cushioning and support. I have narrow feet but use an orthodic so I usually purchase a medium width. This shoe was a little wider than the other pair of Brooks running shoes I have. Also since the Bedlam does not have eyelets I could not use the extra eyelet at the top to snug the shoe up in the heel. So it seemed a little loose in the heel but not terrible. I like the look of the Bedlam and the fabric. I will wear it for casual occasions as well as running!

I LOVE THIS SHOE.... very roomy and has a ton of cushion. I've run in and done boot camp in it. A little wide around the ankle but I just tie it tighter if needed.

Wouldn't you know it. These shoes are amazing!! They do run a 1/2 size smaller (when wearing the newer Levitate 2). The arch support is so good! Having guide rails to keep the heel locked in place without feeling like you're walking/running on a support beam is genius!! My feet absolutely love these shoes! Most people are probably wondering how these feel when comparing the Ravenna or Transcend. Being more familiar with the Transcend shoes line I can say these are a step above. The knit upper give a roomy toe box (YAY!!) and the guide rails make for an easy heel-to-toe transition or forefoot to ball of foot transition. The guide rails really do help keep the feet in a neutral position with needing a post (which can become uncomfortable and sometimes heavy). The shoes feel light and airy! I order the pink colors shoes and they do not disappoint. Bright pink with black and white makes these shoes pop! The only weird note is the back of the shoe. The colors split in half. Half the shoes continues with the pink color and the other half is black. It's like wearing 2 different style shoes. I don't mind, it just something which caught my attention. I'm also really enjoying this new lacing system Brooks is introducing. The loops at the top of shoe are so nice. I'm not really missing the eye holes or feeling like the 2nd eye hold is needed to get a good lock in heel feel. The loops are just high enough to give the lock down feeling with losing more lace and struggling to double knot those now shorter laces. Overall, it's a really great shoe! I'm looking forward to getting the 1/2 size up soon. It should take care of that feeling of the shoes feeling too short.

These Brooks Bedlam shoes were an upgrade from the Brooks Ravenna 9s that I've been working out in. Wow, what a difference in comfort! These are WELL padded, which is helpful since I'm dealing with plantar fasciitis. Very comfortable, great support and stylish enough to wear to work. I love these!

A running shop fitted me to Brooks GTS years ago to correct slight overpronation, and I haven’t looked back - my favorite brand! So when I needed walking shoes, I thought I’d try these. I’m an 8, and my GTS’s are 9, but ordered an 8.5 after reading reviews. Fit perfect, plenty of room in the toe box. It’s amazingly comfy, the design giving you a little spring with each step. The interior softly hugs your foot so it feels very stabilizing. I ended up returning because one shoe had a design flaw - rough corner inside above the lacing that rubbed. Otherwise great. I may try these as my next runners! Design could use some work,.. they’re very busy in person. But worth it for the fit.

These shoes are super cute, but felt a bit bigger than my other Brooks. The first time wearing them, they made my heels bleed. They take a few times wearing to break them in. I’m glad I gave them another shot. They are very supportive and comfortable, with a fun print.

These are great looking and very comfortable! I usually wear a 7.5 in athletic shoes and I think I could/should have gone down to a 7 in them.

These are very comfortable shoes and feel solid but light. I’ve been having issues with my feet and I need a really wide toe box so my left foot was very uncomfortable. My right foot was better than fine. I sorely wish I could have kept this pair of shoes.

Fit size and style right on. I got my normal 10 in Brooks and they fit well. My only problem was there was a seam at the bottom of the tongue that bothered my foot.

Very comfy shoe but runs a smidgeon long. I decided to keep the Ravenna 10 I ordered at the same time. The Ravenna 10 is a much more conservative-looking shoe and has a straighter last, which works better for my feet.

The shoe fit pretty well. The tongue is sort of sewn into the shoe which is a bit odd to get used to.

Very cool looking shoes, lightweight comfortable. Needed a small break in period on stiff heel.

These were really cute, but were a little too big. I kept another pair of Brooks running shoes in the same size that fit great.

Love the style, the tongue is kind of weird so you have to take time to fix it straight up. It's wider thank expected. I'm usually a 7.5 but it felt too small on the big toe and exchanged for 8, the length is better but definitely too wide. Too bad they don't offer them narrow. I will test them at the gym and running to decide if I'm keeping them. Love Zappos 30 day run testing period!!!

I compared the Bedlam to the Levitate sneakers and found them to be similar in size, shape, suppport and weight. However the Bedlam shoes have a seam that runs over a bunion on my right big toe that I can see will cause irritation over time. So unless you need the additional rail support, I would recommend the Bedlam shoes. I just wish that Brooks offered more traditional, uniform, colors like Nike.

These sneakers felt true to size. I was surprised how lightweight they felt. There was plenty of room in the toe box. This shoe has less cushioning than many of the other sneakers that I tried.
I'd also recommend:
Acisics, Saucony, OC, Brooks

After wearing the shoes for a little while, they became more comfortable. I have flat feet and Brooks are the only shoes that offer me the support I need. Ive always worn the Adrenaline but took a chance on these and like them.

Ordered 1/2 size up from normal shoe size. Very comfortable: awesome cushion and support, but took a few wears to stop rubbing a blister on my heel

This shoe was very comfy and had a lot of padding but still lightweight and not clunky looking. I ordered several pairs of running shoes and this would have been the winner if it would have fit. I’m usually a 5 or 5.5 so I ordered a 5.5 based on the reviews I read. It was way too big. I’d guess it was a full size larger than I expected. A great shoe for running and jumping movements, as they do seem to have plenty shock absorption. I ended up keeping a pair of the Sauconys I ordered since they fit better.

I'm sure these shoes will be a great running shoe for many. I honestly was looking for something with a smidge more cushioning. I've had many foot issues over the years and I'm still on my feet for hours daily. I ordered 2 pair of shoes and simply kept the pair that felt the most comfortable. If I were still running, I probably would have kept these as my primary running shoes.

I tried on several pairs of Brooks, and either I have very tall feet, or Brooks shoes are extra tight on the arches. They were all squeezy. I love the shoes, though, so I took out the inserts, and they're perfect now.

I like this shoe. The reason for 4 stars on comfort is that I usually wear the glycerin but was looking for a shoe that had a little more support and still had Cushion. This shoe is a bit more stiff than the glycerin. Still a great shoe but if you're use to the softness of the glycerin just note that this one is more stiff.

I ordered these in 8.5 but my normal size is 8, and typically brooks run a bit small/narrow. However, I think in this particular shoe an 8 would have been fine, there was plenty of room in the toe box. I need stability shoes and these were exceptional in that regard. The guide rails made me feel perfectly stable without any discomfort or feeling like my stride was altered. The shoe is also beautiful, to the point where even though I wasn't thrilled with how the sole felt (too hard for me, not enough spring, and SOOO heavy for running) I almost kept them anyway. When they go on clearance, I will probably rebuy these in an 8 for shorter recovery runs. They are a well made shoe, but the sole missed the mark for me.
