These shoes are not for running - I've had them for a year and I've decided to switch. Over all, these are very comfortable, light weight, and a good quality shoe - but not cushiony enough for running on the road. I don't typically run longer than 3-3.5 miles every other day, but even during that short distance I get ankle / calf pain toward the end of my run. I also have IT band issues in my left knee and while these help with over-pronation / stability, they don't provide a soft landing. I feel almost as if I'm stomping with every step. I think these are better for walking / every day use, so I will keep them!

Very nice unique design but extremely uncomfortable.

I loved my first pair but.... I ordered the same model, generation, size, etc. The toe box is so much tighter on my new ones than the other pair I have that my toes go numb. Other than that, I like the shoe.

These might not be a bad pair of shoes, but they weren't for me. As far as looks, I didn't like the shiny pink sole on the bottom. It wasn't nearly as pretty in person as pictured... It reminded me of the material cheap children's toys are made of. I didn't like the burrito-style tongue. It made them look crooked somehow on my feet, and there was a seam that went down my big-toe joint which I suspect would have started rubbing if I kept them long enough. They weren't helpful for my shin splints, though they don't claim to be a cushioning shoe, so maybe they aren't supposed to be. I went for one run in these and was disappointed. My feet and shins were in quite a bit of pain that I don't normally have with my other Brooks shoes. That could mean I needed to get used to them, but I decided to go with the Transcend 6s instead and was very satisfied.

Super, super cute shoes, great for cardio classes. Unfortunately only 3 stars as I can't run in them without them giving me blisters on the backs of my heels. Also, if you're listening Brooks, could you please have checklists that state the differences between the different types of shoes. Like, are the levitate and Bedlam the same base with different uppers???? Would be so nice to know all the similarities and differences so we could all make educated decisions.
