I have 2 pairs, 1 for work and 1 for gym. I don't feel they are "rigid" enough for lifting weights, but work well for walking/being on your feet (once broken in).

I didn't like the feeling of the shoes not holding on my ankle. Also hard to wear with short socks, now having to wear long socks with this shoes. I wouldn't recommend it.

Not a great choice if you live in a rainy climate (like Seattle), as they have no traction. I wore them outside just running errands and almost slipped multiple times. Obviously as I do live in Seattle, these shoes won't work for me. I'd be interested to try them in a dry climate!

I love the responsive feel of the shoe, but the color is much darker than how it appears online. Instead of being red, they are a dark maroon with gold bottom. Just not what I was expecting.

These seem to run bigger than my last pair of Brooks sneakers which were so comfortable. The heel area is wide which makes the upper knitted area rub up and down against my heel. When I tried them on with no-show socks that fit slightly above the knitted rim, the socks didn't stay in place when I walked, and were quickly underneath my heel. So uncomfortable!! Sneakers need to be returned!

i switched from Asics to Brooks a couple of years ago and have been very satisfied. I have worn both the Ghost and Levitate models. I was very disappointed however when I discovered that the soles of both shoes (of the Levitate 2 LE, white with red tongue, as pictured above) were cracked and broken through after 5 months of wear. I bought them this past summer and tossed them out today. Too bad.

I echo the sentiment of the others who complained about the quality of the sole/tread. After only one 13 mile run, the tread on each heel corner was worn smooth. It takes me months to get that same wear on the many pairs of Launchs that I've worn. When I contacted Brooks they were polite and sent me another pair but of course the second pair did the same thing. The rubber used for the tread is too flimsy and is not durable. Brooks should go back to the tread they used on the Levitate 1. I love these shoes and they are extremely comfortable but it's hard to spend $$$ on shoes that are not durable.

Overall very comfortable shoe. Although, I'm disappointed in the fabricating, the end of the toe is peeling off, I've had to try and repair myself. I've only had the pair for about 6-8 months and wear 1-2 times a week. Too expensive of a shoe for this to be happening.

I hate the sock ankle collar! But overall running feels just as good as the levitate 1 as far a cushioning, very comfortable.

First let me say that I LOVED THIS SHOE at first, however, they completely wore out in only 9 mos!! I am not a heavy duty runner and have basically only been running for the last 3-4wks in these shoes. For the price, everyday walking should NOT wear these out that quickly. They split apart at the same spot on the bottom of both shoes.
