Not sure what it was about this series of brooks but they really irritated my haglund's Deformity.. for the past 4yrs I've purchased the launch series and never experienced the pain I had in these..

Run extremely long and wide. I'd say almost a full size in length. Shoe collar is loose and ill fitting. Not really sure where Brooks was going with the size issues on this model.

I had these for 6 months and the bottom cracked. I worked out/ran in them 5 days a week and they had under 300 miles on them. After a few months they became very loose and stretched out. I would not recommend this shoe to anyone.

I was disappointed in this model. When I tried on the original Levitate, I wanted it to be my next shoe, but I didn't need them at the time. My order came and I ran in them once, and they weren't comfortable at all. I always wear a 7 in Brooks, and these were huge and very uncomfortable, so I returned them. If they switch it up again and bring it back to the original, I would love to try them again.

it is not humanely possible to hate these shoes more than I do. I got my normal size and they were clown shoes on me. They also have no traction (I run in Seattle and NEED some sort of grip outside on the rainy days), and I almost slipped multiple times on the sidewalk. Also, the side comes up so high that I was getting blisters just wearing them around the office for the day. Definitely not the right shoe for me!

Loved these until the sole cracked straight across the mid foot. I've only had these 8 months, and primarily use them as a walking shoe. Way too much money for them to break down that fast. I will go back to Ghost and Glycerine from now on.

Brooks shoes are the only running shoes I wear and this is the first time I've ordered them, I usually just go to the store and buy them and I have been very satisfied. This pair that I ordered is a very big disappointment they are the worse shoes I have ever wore, when you put them on if feels like you're standing on concrete. I have wore them once and I will not wear them again!!!

I was so excited to get these shoes however they rubbed my heels raw to the point of bleeding. I had to return within a couple of weeks.

Loved Brooks Levitate and thought I would never wear anything else after buying two pairs. When I went to replace the oldest pair they had been changed to Levitate 2. The new design is not comfortable and is too wide in the heel. Bought a pair but cannot wear and will be donating. Why change something that was so highly reviewed?

I don't usually leave a review but I need to say that I love the original Levitate, it was the perfect shoe for me. I have such a problem finding good fit and comfortable shoes, because of plantar fasciitis,high arches and bunions and these worked great, it had the cushion and arch support it needed. Please bring back the original Levitate. I can't understand why you would change a shoe, that had absolutely nothing wrong with it. I also do not like the rim around the ankle because it rubs. the shoes was great the way it was,

Originally LOVED the shoe. After about 6 months the top started to wear near the toe. I've now had the shoes for almost 1 year and the soles of BOTH shoes are splitting in multiple spots! I wear these shoes 80% of the time as I have other shoes I switch when walking. I don't use them as running shoes. These shoes split with walking only!

Had these shoes less than 6 months. Wear them to work everyday where I'm on my feet all day! They started wearing down after a month. Now they are breaking down even more!!! Will not buy again!!!!

I'm so sad. I wore glycerins for years and switched to the levitate the second it came out due to catchy marketing. I loved the levitates and bought multiple pairs. I told all my friends and got several non-brooks into devote brook believers. Now there is the Levitate 2. I was so excited, what cool colors (finally because Levitate 1... not so much) I've worn the same size in all my other Brooks but the 9.5 was too big. So I exchanged them for the 9, still so excited. No. Whatever the new back of the heel design is ... it's weird. Doesn't fit right, slides up and down. 8.5 is too small of course. So I went back to wearing my old Levitate 1 shoes that were worn from carrying me through many races. I traveled to many stores trying on different styles of Brooks.. up to 180 mile round trip, to find nothing that felt right after falling in love with the Levitates. I felt broken. So after years of running in Brooks, I stopped running. I found no other shoe that felt as good and had developed for the first time ever severe plantar fasciitis from wearing my same old shoes mile after mile. Fast forward to now, a year later. I made the rounds, trying to find a new type of Brooks that were nice. No local stores have Glycerin 17's??? Can't find the Levitate 1 in my size. Anyways.. settled for the Revels. Don't feel near as nice as my Levitates. I hesitated writing this because I love them so much and have been hoping you'd release a 3 and my world is all sunshine again but I haven't seen anything about a new release so I needed to let you know how I felt.

The Original Levitate 1 was the best shoe ever. Please bring it back!!! The tongue in this new version is cheaply made and hits into my ankle and knit collar causes my feet to slip out no matter how I tie it. Such a big change and disappointment.
