Bought this backpack for my kindergarten son and it is perfect!! It's hard to find backpacks that don't swallow younger kids but this one is perfect in size and weight. Material seems very durable. Has enough room to hold his lunch box, folder and a change of clothes with room to spare. Exterior water bottle pockets are extra deep so his water bottle stays put. Overall I would recommend this bag for younger elementary age kids. Considering getting the purple one now for my 1st grade daughter.

I bought this for my 3 year old son for school. It's perfect! He had the sprout book bag and it was wonderful so we upgraded him to this one. LOVE IT!! These book bags last forever.

I bought this backpack for my 6 year old son. I too own a backpack and find that it is durable.

I love everything about this book bag, I bought it for my son. The only thing I wish is that there would be more colors schemes to select from. Other than that, it's an amazing book bag!!!!

My child started using this book bag in 4 year old pre school and is still using it to this day as he goes into 2nd grade. 5 years of use and still going strong. Holds everything it needs to and the style is very universal.

If you have a little girl, her favorite color is probably purple! You also know that your "little princess " can be rough and tough on a backpack! The solution is North Face...you can find the colors they like and the durability you want! Oh, and according to the little princess, North Face backpacks are the thing to have!!

Great size. I wanted something a little smaller than the standard (Jansport), and this is perfect. I have the blue, which I love, The purple was fabulous, but it was a little much to use everyday. I really like the beverage nets on the sides.

This is the second time I have purchased this product. I bought it when my daughter started preschool and I bought her another for kindergarten. The first bag is still in perfect condition and it washes up great. However the new color of it sold me. Purple is her favorite.

Purchased for my daughter she loves it. The North face backpacks are very durable and stylish.

My 5 year old is heading into kindergarten and was really excited to pick out his first backpack. We took him through a number of options but he fell in love with this one. He especially like the chest snap. Now he is ready and excited for school.

This is a great size backpack for my daughter! She's 7 yo & starting second grade. She doesn't ever need to take more than a folder & a book or two & this will provide ample space. It is a great size on her back, most backpacks looks massive & bigger than her but this one fits perfectly! She loves the tie-dye design too!

Fits my soon to be kindergartener perfectly and has a chest strap. It feels like it is well constructed. I like all of the little pockets it has. It looks like it will fit regular sized folders as well. I only wish it came in different/better colors and patterns.

I have purchased this backpack a few times over the last few years. This year's version is great as always. I purchased the purple for my 3.5 year old daughter to use at summer camp. It's a great size, but not too big for her to carry. I think this backpack is ideal for ages 3-6. Probably too small once a child reaches first grade, with all the school stuff kids have to carry. The construction is good, and the sternum strap is awesome. The only thing I think can be improved is making the front pocket zippered. I always worry things will fall out. I definitely recommend. For preschool, kindergarten and summer camp!
