Bought this for my 6 year old son because is other backpack lasted not even a week. So far so good. He loves it and I love how it straps in the front so it isn't sliding off of him and that it's not too big for him. Wanted something that will last him along time

i primarily use it to carry small, random items when out during the day and for day trips to events. compact, lightweight, make it better than the larger adult style bags.

My daughter is thrilled to start preschool, she was even more excited when this came in the mail. Fits her perfectly!

Arrived quickly and my kindergartner loves it. Not too big for him but fits full size folders. Plenty of pockets.

Juni loves it. She can also use it for school next week. I was really pleased how bright it was. I could see her, 4 year olds are fast and like to hide.

My son loves it

This is our second Recon Squash Backpack and it is as fabulous as the first. This backpack is perfect for our son who is entering kindergarten. It is just the right size so that it does not overpower his frame but is big enough and strong enough to carry what is required in elementary school. Our daughter is going into third grade and has had hers since kindergarten. It has held up incredibly. The only reason she will move to a new back pack next year is because she will need something bigger.

My son used this bag for 2 years at outdoor preschool. (Dragged through the mud, left in the rain) and it is still in great shape (very dirty though) the side pockets didn't last too long, but stayed together well enough to hold the waterbottle. He wants to get the same bag for his new school, definitely getting another one
