My 5 year old picked this out for his kindergarten backpack. It is a great size for his schoolwork and lunchbox. It has additional small and medium pockets, which is nice so that the small items aren't jumbled at the bottom of the bag. He loves the waterbottle pocket and says it's very comfortable. We also took it camping and it was perfect for him to carry on our hike in.

I purchased this for my daughter for kindergarten. I wanted something that she could have for a few years. North face is known for its quality and this backpack holds up to the hype. My daughter loves the design and I love the quality!

This is great for a kid hiking and going to school.

My son uses this backpack for school he is in the 2nd grade. Usually has carries a folder, library book, a big box of Pokmon card and his lunch. And a snack in the small pocket. It works great also he puts a water bottle it's a thick metal one and nothing even looks warn. It's great quality

Got it for my 8 year old son. Loves the color and size is perfect. should last him a long time!

So far this purchase was for us went out in our motorcycle its great for carrying our personal stuff and a little more...water, snack, etc. We love the color and it's comfortable to carry great quality.

My 2nd grader loves his bag. It's very versatile and he takes his water bottle that fits so great.

Gave this to 5 year old for school, holds what she needs for right now but will definitely have to upgrade I the near future. Holds her folders, smaller sized books, perfect for right now, and very durable.

Use when I go hiking to put all my drinks and hydro pack even my other stuff

We needed a backpack for my son to have "on the go" and this was perfect, not too big just the right size. He is soon to be 6yrs old and it is a great size for him. Very roomy and the quality you'd expect from the north face.

I got this bag for my kid on kindergarten and he used on first grade as well but it's not big enough for second grade it's too small now but the bag still new I might give it away to somebody that needs it because the bag is in great shape other than that the bag is great so I would recommend this for a kid from preK till first grade 3 great years using this bag

I got this for my 2nd grader and while the quality is amazing it is just too small for a 2nd grader. This isn't on North Fave though as I should have read the reviews. For tk-k it would be great.

I absolutely love this backpack. The color is beautiful. The pocket options are great. It's very durable and holds quite a bit of items without being too large or bulky. I have used for trips to the park, travel, remote work (fits my 14" laptop with my own sleeve plus other items), etc. I am a 5' 6" mom of one who has been looking for a smaller backpack. This is similar to the size of the NF Isabella with a smaller price tag. The chest strap is useless on someone my size but it's OK. I easily cut it off. I know it was created/intended for kids and not adults.

Absolutely love it. Bought it for my soon to be 6 yr old for his upcoming kindergarten year and it fits him perfectly. Would definitely recommend.

Great size - light weight - Perfect for day trips

Small but mighty backpack. Can fit a 13inch laptop and has plenty of room to put notebooks and folders. Pink color is beautiful and the front strap isn't black as shown in picture t's the same pink which is even better so it doesn't draw away from the aesthetics of the backpack. Lots of little storage pockets to organize pens and smaller items. I'm a petite adult and this is exactly what I was looking for in order to have something roomy but not too big to take to work. Super happy with purchase, and very excited to use it.
