I use my bag to take my everyday necessities. It's the right size for small wallet, phone and other needs.

Bought this for my 2nd grade daughter (who is small for her age) -- it is lightweight and she loves the color. All the other backpacks we had tried that can hold folders and books were absolutely massive on her. This one fits her perfectly and will last for years to come. I'd love even more pockets, but the outer mesh pocket and the small zipper pocket that are both easily accessible without opening the main compartment are great for extra masks, hand sanitizer, and whatever supplies she might need quickly during outdoor school. Her waterbottle fits snugly and doesn't fall out, and there is room for her lunchbox as well even when she has some books and folders inside.

I gave it as a gift for my 5-year-old grandson for school. It's perfect. His Chromebook and lunch and supplies fit well

I love the design of the backpack and my son loves it too. Best backpack for a 5 years old boy. Hope TNF can have a Recon bag bigger than this but smaller than the men and women's. So my kids can use it for school when they are older.

We bought this bag for our 6 year old son to use for school after his previous bag (not North Face) had a broken zipper. He loves the bag. We purchased for its durability, style, and size perfect for a 6 year old.

Got this for my 9 year old. It holds all her stuff & won't fall apart like all the others I've bought. God willing hopefully this one will see her through 3rd grade

My daughter uses this bag for everything from going to sporting events or taking it to her school.

Versatile backpack with a great design. Great size, although I'm 26 years old. The little backpack is essentially perfect for when I'm out on the motorcycle. Peace

All my kids have these and we love them. The pockets are functional, easily accesible and meet every need. There's always a place for everything they need to take to school without having to dig through a sack.

While this bag looked great and was very durable, it could not fit all that my third grader needed to bring to school. I think it's ideal for pre-school, first and possible second. I think you could probably only fit 1-3 books that are on the lighter side, plus snacks and a change of clothes for a little one. We would have loved it if it was only a little bigger for my third grader.

My son uses it for travel to and from school. With remote hybrid learning, he's carrying SO many school materials to and from his school... we needed a new backpack to carry the load, ease the burden, and stand the test of rough Chicago weather.

Perfect size for my petite women size?

This is a very cute and practical little backpack for a petite person for everyday use as well as travel. I don't like carrying big heavy backpacks. This fits essentials. I love all the compartments and pockets. It is lightweight and compact. My Fjallraven is a little too small and doesn't have enough usable compartments. I also like the side mash that can fit a water bottle.

Got this pack for my daughter. It is great for day events or when she takes her dog (and all his accoutrements) away for the weekend. The pack is cute as can be and very useful. I have the same one in black and it is still going strong 4 years later.
