I had to buy my 11 year a egornamic back pack because he carries so many books. It will relieve back and shoulder pain.

Solid construction per usual from TNF, and an excellent suspension system that keeps the weight off the lower back. Pack is great for day hikes or commuting globally.

I got this bag for my newly retired dad. He is going to start traveling more. He is very picky but he loved the functionality of the backpack. It has enough room to fit stuff for a day trip or to use as a carry on "personal item." The color was great overall a great bag.

I use this backpack often when I'm hiking. This bag is perfect for a day hike or for a supported trip. Just last week when I was hiking through a national park in NC in the 95 degree weather, I used this pack. Plenty of room for spare clothes, gear, and room for the rest of my family's stuff. With easy access to water and the flex vent in the back, I was able to stay cool and comfortable the entire time we walked the coast of lake Norman. I was able to reach my map quickly when I needed due to the advanced zipper technology included in the sack. My favorite feature is the lifetime warranty that comes with the bag because I know I will be covered if an accident occurs. I also enjoy the elastic straps on the outside of the bag which make it easy to clip things on with a caribeaner, such as wet boots, gloves, and water bottles. My final point is the space and layout of the bag. It seems like I could just keep packing forever and never run out of room! There's also a section to compile closer to the back, along with specialized pockets for objects like phones. This bag is humbly ostentatious.

Amazing. I got an under armor backpack last year and a week ago the zipper got stuck on a tree branch and it ripped I was kind of disappointed with the quality of under armor's backpack so I decide to go north face one because a lot of people my school have them and ask them about it and I said it was the best backpack for school and outdoor activities So I got one and it's amazing it's durable Comfortable and stylish

I commute to work at a Hospital and need a dependable bookbag to hold my EDC's (water, papers, laptop+charger, mouse, miscellaneous items such as gum, iphone charger, pens, etc.) I also travel often to other locations to get administrative work done. Storage: In my previous two backpacks (Nike SB RPM retailing at $100), carrying what I carry now would pretty much stuff my bookbag and the organization would be messy. Here, there are plenty of compartments for pens, your ID, change, books, laptops, and other small items. I've even been able to carry 2 LARGE pill bottles (multivitamins and ibuprofen). I have even carried another shirt and shorts in my bag along with my EDC's with no issue except for slight bloating. Organization: Like I said earlier, all compartments are small and well organized, perfect for any commuter or student. Two large compartments are available (though the one closest to your back can fit a thin laptop and two notebooks at most or a single thick laptop. The second larger compartment can contain more books but if your front pockets are filled, this storage capacity will decrease). Front pocket is AMAZING. never have to dig deep into my bag for a simple thing like a charger (also fleece lined too, which is a plus). Bottle holders are great because they essentially fit any sized bottle (obviously not a jug but fits even a double steel walled vacuum insulated 32oz bottle). Comfort: My EDC's can make my bag heavy but over the past two weeks of continuous use, I noticed that the straps along with the back pads are awesome. It's super comfortable (for now, don't know how long the padding will last) and there are sections of grooves between the padding that allow for a breeze (not sure if it was intentional or not) but this is amazing because in the heat of urban Philadelphia, I can even feel the slightest of breezes so my entire back isn't drenched. Cons: Besides the front pocket issue, not much. Wish there was a strap to clip my badge to.

I use this bag mainly for school, and it is definitely a huge upgrade from the Jansports I've used all of my life.

It's a great product, some of the smaller pockets could be changed around a bit, but otherwise you won't find a better backpack for the price. I'm curious to see how it holds up, but i mean it's the north face, should be epic.

I like the design. It would be great to have wide zip, I mean I can open wider than this.

Purchased to carry computer and electronics while traveling. Could not be happier, and it was a breeze to pack and unpack especially at TSA checkpoints.

My husband loves it. He is a tall guy and the bacpack is just big enough for him. It is not too big nor too small.

I never had a TNF small backpack. I have two big ones for hike and climbing. This is the first time I have an "small one". My son have one that have 9 years old and still looks nice after hard use. So I decided to try one. I am very happy with the Borealis. The quality is really good, the size is what I need for the everyday and for short trips. I carry a Mac laptop, a couple of books, and everything I need for the day, and sometimes a toothbrush, a pillow and many other small things. It has room for everything. It is confortable and quite elegant.

Solid stylish backpack. I mostly use it for work every day (carrying computer, lunch, water bottle, etc.) and it easily fits everything I need. Seems like it'll make a great backpack to carry on hikes and short trips as well. A little heavier and taller than I was expecting, but seems very durable.

I bought this for my commute to work. I wanted something lightweight, comfortable, good looking, and spacious enough for my laptop, gym clothes, and a few other electronics. This backpack definitely does the trick. I've used it for 3 weeks and it's pretty perfect.

I've been looking for a new backpack for a while, and I've always wanted to try a TNF backpack...I'm really glad that I got this one. I love the colour - it's really a nice change from my usual black. I recently used the backpack for a trip to Canada and was really pleased at just how much I could pack into it...I could carry everything I wanted to and had room to spare!
