Very stylish shoe but still comfortable

Great looking shoe that you can wear to and at work (on fridays). It holds true to its waterproof features and is extremely comfortable. I purchased my regular shoe size and if I remove the removable sole, it is a little loose but still wearable. Biggest con would be that it does get pretty warm (I assume because it is waterproof).

Need more cushion

I bought this as a travel shoe for a European trip later this year. I've had it several weeks and have worn it every chance I get. I've found it to be very comfortable and have had several inquiries on where I bought it. It,s a little tough to get on but once on is very comfortable.

This shoe is a cross between sporty and laid back casual style. Looks good and feels good on my feet.

Love them but the 10 and a half are to narrow.

I'm from south Florida so all my other shoes are flip flops. I needed shoes to go to NYC on a cold rainy trip. There would be a lot of walking. These worked great. Feet stayed dry and they were comfy for walking around Manhattan. They are not vented at all so I'm sure they would fall short for anymore than walking or anything if it got too cold. Cons are the white sole. The upper has a good style that works for up or down but that white sole ruins it. Makes it too athletic and juvenile. The upper and lower clash. I still give four stars because it is so comfy.

Great everyday shoe.

Enjoying them. Keep allowing the ability to put insets into them.

The shoe is nice but price is a bit high. The need to come to may 150.

Great style that will never go out! You can wear with shorts.

I love the look of this sneaker/ shoe. Super sharp. They can be a bit tight to get into the shoe opening due to an insulated cushion insert (removable). I don't want to remove the insert because it takes a lot of the cushioning out. The result is a comfortable, fashionable sneak but might feel a bit tight and warm. I wear only a no show sock as it's super thin. If you don't have stinky sweaty feet like me, you can easily go sock-less (I would ask your significant other or a good friend about this rather than your own perception when it comes to odor).

This is my second pair, love the style but the shoe is so tight it is uncomfortable. I wear size 8.5 have 15 pairs or more of Johnston Murphy so I know I ordered right size.

I have had many pairs of the XC4 Prentiss shoes. I like the style, choice of laces and light weight. My main problem with this very light color of Nubuck is that it marks up very fast, even after two coats of spray when new. All of these white soled shoes mark up at the toe and heels and I have found that Mr. Clean Majic Eraser does a good job of getting the grime off. I ware an 8.5 D and the 8.5 with the first liner removed is a perfect fit.

Read great reviews about this shoe and was super excited. Fits well and is very comfortable. Only problem is that within a week and a half the loop on the back of the shoe broke. These are "slip-ons" but are very difficult to get on without the loop. Not sure how I'm to get these on now without using a shoe horn every time. Some help would be appreciated.

My second pair. It's a great show. But unlike my first pair, this one has a foot bed you need to remove to get a wide fit. Didn't understand that and my feet hurt the first few days of wear. Ended up with blisters. Suggest you leave the bed out and the customer can insert if need be.

very nice shoe but price is a little high

The style and color were good however the fit was too tight even without the insert. a double wide is necessary for this last, however it is not available. The return process is customer friendly and easy.

Very stylish. However they are a tight fit in width. Can't wear with athletic socks. All of my other J&M shoes are perfect in medium width. These are tight.
