I have always worn Naot because the footbed is perfect for me. I now have a bunion and need a wider toe box. I purchased the Naot Kayla in a wide. (I'd worn the Kayla normal sized shoe and it was very comfortable.) The wide shoe bed didn't work at all - both shoes had hard bumps that didn't correspond to the contours of the bottom of my foot. I'll have to stick to my medium sized Naot's and have them stretched!

These shoes fit and feel nothing like Naot sandals I already own. They're much narrower, even though I went up a size, and there's a weird bump/ridge at/under at the toe that feels like it would be irritating after a while. I bought them to walk around in Europe but didn't dare try.

I first started wearing the Naot Kayla about 20 years ago, maybe 25 years ago. I thought they were heaven. I wore a 41 medium and wore them over and over.So much so I would just go into a shop and buy a pair or two every year or two. The last time I did this was 6 or 7 years ago. I didn't actually start to wear those particular ones ( 2 pair) until 5 or 6 months later (too late to return) and discovered to my horror they were much more narrow than previous ones. I gave one pair to a charity shop & kept one hoping to stretch it (no luck so far). Sometime after that, when reading something on Naot site, I learned this shoe now designed for "narrow to medium" foot. Too bad for me,, as I am a real medium, not a narrow to medium. A year or so later saw they were now making a Kayla wide. This year decided to try those. No luck. Much too wide for my foot, which is really a medium foot with a narrow heel and slightly wide toes (so I looker for wider toe boxes and avoid narrow pointy shoes). The adjustable velcro strap is only at the ankle and couldn't tighten it enough for proper fit (front straps not adjustable and too wide for my foot). I do not have fat feet. They are slim looking and kind of bony, with slim ankles, so Iike to show them off in warm weather, but no luck with these sandals, In addition to being too wide for my foot, the straps were stiff (I got the matt leather, nubuck might have been better) and they seemed wider than straps on my old regular medium. Maybe Naot assumes everyone getting this wide has big chubby feet that need holding in with wide straps. Don't know, but do know is time for me to move on for good from Naot Kayla to some other brand. I have returned these to Zappos.

I'd heard such great things of Naots for wide feet, but those toe straps have no give and are way too narrow for anyone with wide toes or bunions. Cute and actually had some arch support, but Wides not very wide at all.

These run short and, most importantly, narrow. Very narrow. I am usually between normal and wide, depending on the brand. Most other naot shoes work for me in wide but these didn't stand a chance. Too bad, they are cute!

I apparently do not need a wide....I know now. These were very uncomfortable.

I was VERY disappointed with this purchase and will be returning them. I expected much better quality from Naot - essentially that is the problem - they don't look or feel of a good quality.

I was trying a wide in this size after previously wearing regular (but feet maybe grew due to pregnancy). This particular purchase gave me knee pain. I've been wearing this EXACT sandal since 2005 and went back to a non-wide in my size ordered directly from Naot. I'm extremely unsatisifed with my purchase and uncertain if I had a fake since it did not feel the same as other Naot Kaylas I've worn. I can't be 100 percent since it was my first time in a wide, but the footbed felt really different. The next pair I tried (ordered from Naot) did not have this issue.

No difference between the med width and wide width...too expensive for the quality

Be specific about your likes and dislikes. How was the fit and size? What does the material feel like? How awesome (or not) do you feel wearing them?

I was excited to receive until I tried to put my foot in shoe. These are extremely narrow for a wide width shoe. Very disappointed. Thanks for Zappo's easy to return policy, I will keep looking.

Just bought my third pair. First lasted years. I wear them all summer and definitely travel with them. I have bought regular and wide (my foot is wide) and both fit me. On cobblestones, sometimes my foot will slip out of the sandal, but the alternative would be a closed show. I love these!

Years ago, before bunions, Naot was my go-to sandal. Had several pairs, wore them out. I was excited to finally see a pair that came in Wide. Alas, not wide enough. Wish the straps had a Velcro option to make them adjustable. A nice looking sandal, though and a great neutral color.

The sandal was so narrow I couldn’t fit my foot in to try the shoe out.
