How I wanted to be one of those reviewers that say that these shoes perfectly, but I'm not. These shoes are way too narrow. Cute but a no go.

Like others with a medium width foot I know that in Naot that means "wide" -- crazy. These were okay although the fixed toe straps (no adjustment possible) were too loose, although it's winter as I'm trying them on so perhaps in the summer with bigger (swelling) feet they'll fit better. Also, the leather on the inside edges across the toes is a bit rough, so I can tell I'll either have to file it to try and smooth it or it'll be blister city. Are they cute? Um, sure, in a middle-aged orthopedic way. It is what it is. I have a high arch and I like to be nice to my feet, to not ask them to wear uncomfortable shoes too often. For my arches, Josef Seibel is PERFECT, but talk about frumpy designs ... grr.

These sandals are one of the most comfortable sandals I've ever had, great arch support, fit really well, and they look good! But sadly the soles wear out too quickly. I bought my shoes less than a year ago and I don't wear them all the time, but the soles are worn out which have made the shoes uneven so I slip when I walk. I am not sure if they can be repaired either.

I really liked the style of these shoes; however, they were not quite wide enough, and dug into the side of my foot. There was also a raised arch support that hit my foot in the wrong place. So disappointed!

Very hard shoe and uncomfortable

I normally wear an 8.5 wide and ordered the 39. This sandal was long enough however my toes hung over the tips of my pinky and second to last toes hung over the edge. It looked strange and felt uncomfortable due to my toes hitting the ridge that goes around outer edge. Didn't really seem like a "wide" . sandal. Had to send back. So sad because they were otherwise cute and comfortable.

Probably would have kept the shoe if more choices in neutral color. Naot was comfortable but few styles come in wide and this does, however the tan oily nubuck was too orange for my taste.

Even in a Wide size, this shoe is too narrow across the ball of the foot, especially if you have a slight bunion. I wish the strap was adjustable, as in the Karenna model.

I really think I could have loved this shoe. I got the Naot Kayla-wide but was wide in width. It even was shorter than most shoes. I ordered the size I normally wear, but did not fit me.

Really cute shoe, but not as wide as a typical wide, so had to send it back.

I was delighted to see the Kayla now available in a wide width, but then disappointed when I received them. I have wide feet, and the these were considerably wider than W widths in other brands. They were moving around on my feet, even with the straps at their tightest. I am returning them.

I wanted so much to love this! They are a more comfortable type, yet somehow don’t manage to make your feet look huge. You could easily wear them with a casual dress. But the dealbreaker for me was that the foot bed has ridges between where the ball of the foot meets the toe. On one foot these didn’t bother me, but on the other foot, it hit in the wrong place and rubbed my toe. Why did they put the stupid ridges there? Such a bummer. I am keeping the SAS Pampa sandals I ordered at the same time instead. Not as cute, but infinitely more comfortable.

too narrow to be called wide, they were at lease 1/2 " narrower than the Chaco's that I ordered at the same time. Very cute shoe just too narrow sadly had to return.

Even the wide was too narrow for my feet and my feet really aren't that wide! Just one-step wide. I used to love Naot! Totally bummed!

I loved them but they run short and narrow for a 9.

the straps are stiff and scratchy on the tops of my feet. also there is no way to make those tighter so they don't move and scratch.

Too stiff and way TOO Narrow.

I have a high arch and the ankle strap barely made it to the velcro so I didn't have a secure strap. I ordered the wide and it feels like a narrow.

Very comfortable but the second strap from the toes was too wide. Also the style was a little too "old lady" to me.

I should have taken seriously the reviews I read. Yes, Naot has made a wide width, but it is hardly noticeable. I even ordered a size longer in hopes that it would be wider. But no, my left foot was pinched pretty bad. Those looking for WIDE.....don't look to Naot. Also the workmanship did not seem up to their standard. I have purchased this brand several times before and I have loved the quality. Not worth $139...sending back. Thank you Zappos for allowing me to to do that.

Too tight

I start by saying that I have worn his style for years and years. I likely have 8 pairs in the closet in the medium width. But now I need a wide, and last year bought the wide in navy and gray...and the wide was perfect. So this year I bought the same Kayla size 39W in black and Dune. The Dune fit perfectly just like the first two But the black was narrow and tight. Although the shoes said 39W as did the box, there was no question that this pair was a medium width. So I think the factory screwed up and labeled a 39M as a 39W. But for this bizarre event, I adore this model and wish Naot would make it in more colors, especially in Nubuck which is soft, in the Wide width.

Ran so small and narrow I thought I had mistakenly ordered a size too small and a narrow.

Wow, these are supposed to be Wide? Well I don't think my feet are excessively wide. In fact normally I don't even have to buy the wider width, but based on reviews I went ahead and ordered the W. I could get my foot in, but the shoes were extremely snug in the toe. I would hate to see the M width if this is considered W!
