I picked this because I thought it would meet my walking needs for a trip but still could be dressed a bit for our cruise.. This was my second time at this shoe tried a 38 first. then this 39 wide (one size larger and a wide). Still felt like a short shoe. I couldn't go up in size so I guess it is back to the drawing board!

I need probably an 8.5 wide, as the nine is too big, my toes kept bumping the tips, this would work for specific sizes, I really wanted it to work.

I left an absolutely glowing review of these shoes in 2018--it's the one with the lavender-painted toes! This year (2021), I purchased my third pair of Naot Kayla (wide), always sticking with the plain black matte leather. I was so desperate for another pair that I had a friend schlep them all the way from the US to Italy, where I am currently based. The second I took them out of the box, I knew something had changed. The second I put them on my feet, it was confirmed. Something about both the leather straps and the footbed has changed, or perhaps it is my feet that have changed. In 2018, I wore these sandals straight out of the box and got one baby blister. This time around, I could barely wear them for a mile or two before I had to pull out the bandaids and moleskin. The leather straps were scratchier, their edges rougher on my skin, and the bottom of the shoes is more slippery than I recall. It's so disappointing, because I trusted these shoes to get me around Europe's cobblestones this summer. I'm hoping they break in--if not, I'm not sure what I'll do. Ultimately, the Kayla is still a good shoe. It's just not as exceptional as it once was, and my toes are the poorer for it. These days, I much prefer the Comfortiva Gardena (again, wide), if you can still find that.

I ordered the blue pair and liked them so much that I ordered a second pair in black. The black ones feel completely different and the sole is as stiff as a board. The blue ones have some bend and are flexible. They look the same but the sole must be made from a different material. I would not recommend the black ones. The blue ones are great.

In measuring the footbed of the "wide" shoe, I found there was no difference in this & the medium width of another pair of Kaylas I have. In fact the only difference is that the wide width has larger straps across the toes & vamp. So I am sending these back.

I don’t feel awesome wearing these - the Velcro strap seems like it belongs on a much less expensive pair of sandals, and the leather is very “rustic” - not what I was looking for.

Wore these sandals to Italy for three weeks and loved them! Walked literally for miles in them. I wear a wide and these were VERY comfortable initially. Unfortunately, as I continued to wear them through the rest of the summer, they stretched out to a point they were too wide and my feet were sliding around in the sandal. There is no way to tighten them behind the ankle/heel (although I could tighten them in the front of my ankle). If I had known they would stretch so much, I would have ordered a medium width. They were VERY comfortable, initially.

Love the fit & look on this shoe but not sure if I’ll keep it yet. I would prefer a different color and the M or regular size seems to run small. Bought the same size in the color I wanted in M but it felt a half size smaller in length and width. This shoe had great support and could be worn with dress or jeans

Good size as far as the length goes, but I ordered a wide and this didn't feel wide. Maybe I just have really wide feet. Anyways, I also purchased Taos trophy sandal which I ultimately ended up keeping as it felt more comfortable and was much cuter. I think these are just a bit too old lady looking for me.

I love love love love these sandals and purchased in three colors -- it's the only sandal that Naot had in a wide width. Stylish comfortable right out of the box. I highly recommend.

Naot is my "go to" brand. They are dependably well made.

Very cute and chic sandals with excellent arch support. I injured my foot last year and struggle to find cute shoes to wear instead of running shoes with custom orthotics in them. So excited to find these sandals and have hope that Naot will have other styles that will work for me. This wide version isn’t super wide. The only negative is that the straps are a little loose but easy to tighten up the ankle strap. I am very happy with them.

These are the best sandals I've ever worn. I'm going to get another pair in a different color. I tried the regular width but had to return them. My feet needed the "Wide" size even though I don't typically need wider shoes. I think they run a little more "narrow".

Beautiful shoes, lovely creamy leather. Naot has always been a solid for me because of my high arch. The heel is not high at all, but I'm 75 and these are not practical for me. They are gorgeous. Also. these are a "wide". They are not very wide.

This shoe is very supportive and comfortable. I ordered a 7M and it was a tad narrow so I reordered a 7W. it was perfect. They have very nice supple leather and felt good from the beginning. No break in required.

Nice leather, very comfortable good arch. Nice easy height for long walks & all day wear. Felt narrow. I usually wear 7.5 M, the 38 W fit best.

Oh boy, wide enough and no strap across my bunion! Comfy from the start. Beautiful leather (I treated it to prevent scratching as it is light). Another winner from Naot.

I wear a 39 EU, but in NAOT this size doesn't fit at all. It was too short and even in wide width was too narrow.

I read reviews & ordered the larger size. It was not necessary for length. I wear 7 1/2 medium, the 38 WIDE fit perfectly. beautiful leather & great arch, the kind of sandal you can walk miles in.

Extremely comfortable and well made

These were great out of the box- very comfortable and no break-in time. I had originally ordered the regular width, and they were a little snug.

These shoes were perfect for walking around Italy. They were very comfortable and offered good support! I had other sandals, but wound up wearing these more!

The fit was good the leather was very soft and the arch support was a little to much it hurt my feet

These sandals are great for lots of walking and look sharp enough for work. Nice materials, nice support. Highly recommend!
