This is my fourth pair of Saloman Ultra Water Proof hiking shoes. I loved every pair of them except this one. It is more stiff. Worse yet, it is very hard to tug the shoes strings into the little pocket. The last crossed shoe string is placed right over the pocket. Unfortunately, due to COVID, I did not start wearing this pair until this year. And passed the return window.

Not the same shoe. So sad, I've owned 4 pairs of these over the last 10 years. These were always SO reliable! Bring back better colors and the old designs.

I recently bought my second pair of these online after having my previous pair for 5 years. They were brilliant from the start so I ordered the same size but they couldn't have been more different. Very stiff material and a very narrow fit. I have used them but am very disappointed as they are nowhere near as comfortable as my first pair. Sadly, I don't think I will be buying this product again.

These are my 2nd pair of X Ultra Waterproof shoes. I loved my first pair. This pair has the quick lace system. It seems fine at first but after wearing for a bit, I noticed the lace/cord rubs the inside of my ankle where there is no padding between it & my ankle! Afraid how that would feel after an 8 mile hike. The tongue is not wide enough to protect under there (see pictures). I got the same size as I had in my other XUltras, 8. I generally wear 8-8.5. I have narrow feet, have a hard time finding good fitting shoes & this style of Salomons fit me well. Not sure if I will keep them because of the lace rubbing on the ankle issue, which is a huge bummer for me! There aren't many other shoes out there that fit my foot. If you could replace the quick lace with regular laces that might fit the problem, but you can't. I also bought the X Crest with regular laces as an alternative to try but the traction isn't as good & seems less supportive.

These trail shoes are exactly what I was looking for. I love the style and colors. My previous hiking footwear from Salomon were always comfortable right out of the box. I have narrow feet and this is why I stayed with this brand, however, this pair is too narrow and it should be marketed that way. They seemed comfortable in store but after wearing them on longer walks, they are quite uncomfortable and they are very stiff. I am a bit disappointed and hope they stretch out a bit over time. Please make these in different widths.

Nicht selten waren wir kurz davor zu st?rzen. Leider l?sten sich die Schuhe nach t?glicher Nutzung auch noch hinten auf... Was tun, wenn das die einzigen Schuhe sind, die man mithat? Dahingehend hat Corona was gutes- wir mussten fr?her abreisen und ich habe nun viel Zeit, um nach neuen Schuhen zu suchen... schade, denn ich hatte nur gutes ?ber Salomon geh?rt.

I bought these shoes right from the main Salomon site and talked to a rep and he advised me that this is the perfect shoes for me! right out of the box it fit great and there was no problem Until i took it for a few Hikes. My left Foot kept getting very hardcore pressing on the inside of my Ankle Bone. Am devastated as I love this Brand and I know the quality behind every product, Sadly I exceeded the return time policy as I didn't wear it out and now stuck with this shoes that I cant wear and am very heartbroken. I wish Salomon would provide Tips and trick on how to solve this Problem, I really would like to wear my hiking shoes on my next trip! Please help :(

Je viens de remplacer des Sportiva contre ce produit. Ds la premire randonne de 4 heures j'ai eu une ampoule la mallole externe. Je les ai pour l'instant utilises 5 jours conscutifs avec un pansement. Je les trouve un peu trop rigides. Le rglage avec ce type de lacet n'est pas assez prcis, pas confortable. Bref, je ne me suis pas sentie l'aise

Fijne schoen, beetje smal. Lekker wandelen op vaste en minder vaste ondergrond, goedegrip.

I bought it a month ago. I have pain at the back of my right ankle. I hope it will get my foot shape and I feel better.

Purchased about a month ago, the quality has decreased a lot from the previous pair I had and I will probably buy a different product next time. Size is just ok but shoe is very stiff and tread grip not great. I will never buy shoes online again.
