This shoe needs to be a wide size so I can fit into it.

Felt long and narrow for my foot

These shoes run a little large for me. Because the footbed is longer than I expect, it takes some getting used to to not stub my toe. That said, the shoe is well made, the tread is great for my use, and I love that they’re waterproof. I do wish they had higher arch support, and I also wish they’d make women’s shoes in more neutral, dark colors. Finally, why is it so hard to find Salomon Gore-Tex women’s shoes in size 8? Virtually every supplier is sold out at all times.

Couldn’t get the hang of the toggle tie system. Seemed like great trail shoes but returned them because of the toggle. Sized down half size & they fit perfect

I thought these were awesome but, unfortunately, my feet are just too darn wide! I plan to find a men's shoe since even the women wide are not quite wide enough for me.

Too narrow and too long

These looked great and I was hoping they would work. They were just too wide in the heel. If you don't have a narrow heel, these would be great.

These are my 5 pair of Salomon - great shoe - love the tie up system. This pair in size 8.5 felt longer and to my disappointment the toe box fabric one on shoe was wrinkled ! That says poor quality control. Kept then regardless because it’s raining and wanted to have dry feet. But a little quality co trol would not be amiss.

Arch support was a little too high for me. I have an average arch, but these were too much support and I thought it would hurt after a short while.

I have worn Salomon hikers for years and have really loved them, but I can't seem to find a pair that fit me now. I need a roomy toe box. These shoes have great support, but they simply do not have enough room in the toes. If you have narrow feet, these shoes would be great light hikers for you.

The heel was too wide and the toe box was not that wide.

I already own a high-top pair of Salomon X Ultra 3 GTX in a women's size 7.5 Wide, so I was confident the low tops would fit me. The low tops feel a bit snug, but they will likely stretch out to match what I am used to. The outside edges of both left and right shoe rub the lower edge of my ankle bones; Salomon should cut their shoes slightly lower in this area. I was expecting the color to be a match with my high-tops. It is a much more pronounced blue color than the high-tops. While these are not perfect, they are better than any other shoe I could find in my size and I am keeping them. I will raise my foot height in the shoe by shimming up the insole under the heel.
