Test?es sur du d?nivel? dans les Vosges ; le pas assur? que ce soit sur terrains secs, humides, rocailleux et sentiment de s?curit? pour les orteils lors des chocs Test?es sur longues distances (20 km) ; le pas rapide et l?ger. Test?es par temps humides printaniers : pieds secs au retour. Reste ? voir en hiver si pas de regret avec les hautes tiges ! Reste aussi ? voir la r?sistance des lacets (? force d'?tre ajust?s) ! Reste ? voir combien d'ann?es je vais les garder (mes pr?c?dentes m'ont rendu 10 ans de service sur les sentiers nature!)

I have purchased Solomon shoes in the past and the X Ultra 3 does not disappoint. Good sturdy sole good for light hiking and trail walking and the waterproof membrane to keep the mud and wet out. Great Shoe!

I bought these shoes as an extra pair to swap between. They are slightly higher around the ankle than my other pair of Solomon shoes and as I'd had ankle surgery I've had to put a thin insole in. But that said, they are very comfy, good soles (don't feel stones) and I hope to use them to walk 50km later in the year.

Bought these as a last minute panic buy for myself and daughter to do the West Highland Way... no time to break them in, fantastic shoe, very rocky slippy wet paths, felt safe in these, comfortable, lightweight, no sign of a blister, 100 miles done, with happy feet! Thank you salomon

First time buying Salomon shoes, but probably not the last! I love the support and traction provided by my new GTX. I had until now only used ankle-high boots as I like to feel that my ankles are protected (tendency to sprain them), but gave this lower model a try as I needed shoes that would be comfortable hiking and mountain biking in warmer weather for a vacation. This pair makes me feel so stable that I forget they are lower! And I just went for a short but steep hike on slippery terrain (mud/snow/gravel/rocks): half the people I passed were slipping or downright falling, but I felt very sure-footed with those shoes. It made me realize that their traction is really superior to the boots I had before. Overall a comfortable, supportive and sturdy feel while remaining lightweight. I haven't truly tested the waterproof claim yet, but spent a couple of hours walking through mud with perfectly dry feet. Note: one spot felt slightly too tight when I first bought them (right inner ankle) but I got that shoe stretched a bit at my local store. It took 5 minutes and they fit perfect since then. No break-in time required.

My first pair of Solomon runners were purchased so that I could train and walk the Camino Del Santiago in Spain. (800 km). The shoes were amazing they held up incredibly well; I never experienced a single blister, no tired or achy feet and I generally walked at least 20 to 25Km a day. I'm now planning another walk in Israel this one is 1200 km and I can think of no other shoe. (I am the ultimate Solomon Ambassdor with my trust and experience)...So I ordered my second pair of Solomon runners. I took them out and from day one they are again, super comfortable, lightweight yet durable , and they feel as if they are already broken in. I absolutely love the Solomon runners and will choose no other - ever!

Thought of writing a review as I ordered a replacement today after using the first one every other day for 4 years. Good grip, easy on easy off, has goretex - very good water proofing with breathability, sturdy chassis. One negative I think of is that I am an over pronator and the sides did wear away faster than I would have liked. These come with a contagrip sole which is pretty grippy for trail running, however a hiking version with a vibram sole would be fantastic.

I had the X Ultra GTX before this new pair. Very little break in time, really comfortable out of the box. I love the ease of the quick lace system and I am able to individually cinch areas I need to. breathable and waterproof, great for an everyday shoe and my day hikes. Sometimes I put my gaiters on muddier or snowier days without a need to put on boots.

Es befindet sich jetzt der vierte Salomon Schuh in meinem Besitz. Ich immer noch so begeistert wie beim ersten Schuh.

I'm on my third pair of these hikers for a reason. These are a great combo of comfy and supportive, although the real secret is in the sole. These things tackle wet and slimy rocks far better than any other hiker I've owned. All in all, a great shoe at a great price!

Testes pour la premire fois lors d'un trek en Irlande sur sol montagneux humide et boueux avec un D+ de 500m. Directement conquise par son confort et son tanchit. En plus, on ne transpire pas du tout l'intrieur puisque le tissu respire ! Lors des descentes, l'adherence est totale, risque de chute proche de zro ! Et pour les laver vite fait avant de remonter en voiture, un petit coup dans la rivire et hop, c'est rgl (et toujours les pieds au sec!) Le top rapport qualit prix !!!
