I usually wear 9 wide but decided to order a 9.5 wide based on reviews. I also have nerve sensitivity and thought the half size larger would be better. I should have ordered my size of 9 wide. These 9.5 were too long and so the width was "off". My little toe was constricted. I returned these and want to order the 9 wides but I see they are out of stock! Grrr! I'm keeping my eyes out for these. They seem to be a very comfy, flexible hiker.

I have had more comfortable hikers. Not much cushion in front of hiker, adequate heel protection. Next pair, I will not get one that goes up to ankle. Too restrictive

This boot seemed very sturdy and well made. Sadly, I had to return it because the strong arch support hit my foot in the wrong location, back toward the heel. I tried taking out the supplied insole and replaced it with my own but it did not solve the problem. Had to return them.

With a size 12 AA foot, it is challenging to find hiking boots that fit. Years ago, I would have to buy men's boots because boots for women with long, slender feet were not made and they were always too wide. Now I have one, maybe two choices. These Vasque fit well and seem sturdy enough. My last boots were Asolo which were perfect: fit well, rugged, and lasted for years. Sadly, Asolo no longer make women's size 12. These Vasque are comfortable and will do the job though they are not as rugged as my Asolos.

These shoes were just what I was seeking, until I tried them on. They break across the toe box in a way that presses on the top of my toes. I was shopping for boots for an 11-day hike in the high country, and I could imagine horrible blisters developing across my toes in a day or two. I am sad, because they really seemed to be my perfect choice, from specs to appearance.

I can't say much about these shoes because I gave up after two shoe returns (they were about a size larger than my regular size).

These were the 3rd pair of boots that I tried. They are not perfect but they will do. I have a wide foot in a 51/2 to 6. The shoe just fits my foot, I was wanting to wear heavier socks for winter but they won't fit. Just to tight. The real problem is with the tongue on the shoe their is no give. I need to push my feet to get them on. They are comfortable and appear to be well made. I will probably contact the company at some point to ask for elastic or something to make them easier to put on. If you have a regular size and width you probably wont have any difficulties.

Ran much larger than anticipated. Will try a half and whole size smaller. Otherwise extremely comfortable. Not the most technical tread, but it's fine.

Very nice shoe, just felt smaller (tighter all around) than any other Solomon I've worn. Needed for trip, so made up returning and not trying half size up.

Size and fit were true but the back part where the heel is does not have enough cushion and it wore out and causing blisters other then that the boots have held up

This shoe had great potential and compared it to the non Gortex version- fit was identical but the craftsmanship of this one (made in India) was more sloppy than the other one pair (made in Cambodia)- the stitching was sloppy, edges were rough.

I have a very narrow foot, so these did not work for me. They were huge looking on my feet. Also, I am an 8 in shoes, but 8.5 narrow in running sneakers, so I ordered these in 8.5 and they were just too big. They were too wide and too long. Aside from that, they did feel comfortable, so if you're feet are wider width these may work for you. Still going to keep looking for boots.

So this hiking boot would probably work just fine for someone else. I felt that the binding in the toe box was too much for my left foot (prior bunion surgery). I always order a half size up from my youth (8.5) now ordering 9. The boot felt ok in other areas but the critical toe box. Beautiful color. My right (no surgery) foot was fine. I must have thought I could replace the footbed (for custom orthotic) but you can not. Great color for those who like purple! Not too flashy but a little pizzazz. Bummer.
