I am so happy with these boots ! They felt great on my feet, right out of the box. Wore them the first day on a 5 mile strenuous hike with lots of rock scrambles and my feet felt great at the end of the day. Traction on the rocks was awesome; they kept my feet warm and dry. The felt true to size, with plenty of room in the toe box.

These replaced some well-worn boots and were fantastic out of the box - comfortable, supportive and accommodated my custom orthotics. I took them out for their first hike, and they performed beautifully. Highly recommend.

Love this hiking boot. Has replaced cowboy boots for more active farm work Initially purchased for a camping trip. It was an add-on since I was ordering other shoes and noticed these came in wide. I have a wide forefoot and normal heel. These are perfect. I can actually wear hiking socks since these are wide enough. Construction and quality are great.

This review goes along with the other that praise this boot, I am amazed and very happy about how great these boots are. I had to stop hiking for several years and am slowly working my way back into it, and these boots make it a pure pleasure to walk. I hike in the Appaachian mountains, wet and cold this time of year, and these boots keep my feet dry and comfy. I ordered the wide and it gives my toes plentyt of room to wiggle and keep the blood flowing, even with heavy socks, which is important since I have Reynauds syndrome. I read other reviews and decided to try these, and am totally pleased with how well they feel. Any boot that makes walking fun is awesome!

Nice comfortable hiking boots. I wanted boots to wear in the woods when it was wet and muddy out. I have not tried them in very wet conditions yet, but have worn them for hikes and they are great. I have wide feet that can be difficult to fit and I was surprised these worked so well.

I ordered a 9.5, fit well. I can say these are for sure waterproof, worn them on two separate ADK hikes and they have done great. Just be sure you have higher socks on.

I wear a size 11 in shoes and an 11.5 in running shoes. I ordered an 11 and they are perfect. Super comfy and do not feel like they need to be broken in.

I am looking to replace a pair of beloved Salomon hiking boots. I ordered these in the same size but a wide width because i like a roomy toe box. Somehow, they hit my instep in the oddest place. The arch support and rest of the shoe felt pretty good. I don’t usually have problems with the instep.

I'm a size 6 and these boots felt true to size and not too tight when worn with hiking socks. I have another pair of size 6 Salomon hiking boots and sizing felt consistent. These were surprisingly light and very well cushioned. Ultimately, I decided to return them because it felt like the arch in the boot & removable insole would be uncomfortable on a long hike due to pronation in my feet. If it wasn't for this, I would have kept them because they’re good quality and I love the gray/pink color. If you're looking for arch support, these may be for you.

These hiking boots are not very comfortable. They hurt my ankles. I'm probably going to send them back. Also, my only option was a size 7 or 8. I'm a 7 1/2 and these boots feel too big. There was no 7 1/2 option for me to pick.

These are and always will be my favorite hiking boots!

Would have been perfect but the rim hit my ankle bone!

As promised by the NY Times Wirecutter review, these are outstanding hiking shoes. They offer effective support for my ankles, and they're comfortable as well.

I love these boots! I have an odd-sized foot and I was scared about how these would fit. I usually try to order a little bit bigger for hiking and athletic shoes so my toes don’t hit the front on the downhills (or sudden stops in sports). I normally wear anywhere from 11-12. I tried these in an 11 and they fit perfectly! I was worried about the downhills, but these are narrow enough (good for me!) that they securely hold my foot in place. My heel is kept right where it’s supposed to be. I love the fit of these! If you don’t have a foot on the narrow side like I do, these might be a tad snug. As for hiking, I haven’t been able to do a whole lot with them yet. I’ve only worn them for several 3 mile outings on easy terrain. I didn’t need to “break them in” and they’ve done wonderfully so far in not hurting my feet. No hotspots or blisters (granted, I’ve always worn smartwool socks with them). They’ve done well in the snow. They hold a little too much snow on the bottom of the shoe, so I have to stomp a few times to get it out so I don’t lose traction. So far they’ve been waterproof and decently warm with good socks. Lastly, the color: super cute! I can feel outdoorsy and feminine at the same time. ;)

I have a wide forefoot and a normal-width heel. I needed a wider toe box. This came in wide and it was great. I've now used these for 4 years, and I'm back ordering a replacement pair. I originally purchased them for camping... then took them to CO on a skiing trip and use them around our farm as they are water-resistant. I frequently replace insoles in shoes, this pair was no different. They have held up to wear and tear quite well. My teenager has borrowed them enough that I'm replacing my shoes. I would recommend it!!

I tried multiple pairs of waterproof hiking boots and these are the most comfortable for me! I wear size 11 and require an insert for hallux rigidus, and these are very supportive.

I love these boots and I am very difficult to fit (high arch, long toes, wide in front, narrow in back. These are the only shoes I've found that work for my daily hiking. My only complaint is the shoe laces slip so I replace them with runner's laces that grip.

Best hiking boots ever! I wore them for a recent trip to Glacier/Waterton - preemptively taped up my supersensitive skin on the first day, and it was so not necessary. Took the moleskin off for day 2 and haven't looked back. They are good on snow and rocks as well as the regular trail terrain. Ankle support is excellent.

Super good looking but more importantly, super comfort!
